So happy with our experience here today and during our previous (first) visit. Super friendly staff. They all ride themselves and are very knowledgeable and will guide you to the correct size or fit no matter what you’re looking for. I’ve learned that helmets and tall boots really do require a trained eye to get right and in my opinion can’t be bought online easily if you’re looking for the proper fit. Shout out to Hannah who spent lots of patient time with us to get my daughter’s gear fitting just right.

My sister said this was the best place to buy jackets, and she was right. I bought three. The nice thing is the arms were long enough because they're made for people who ride, and they cover your back. Super helpful sales staff,, and some other great clothes, I brought three tops because they move and breathe. Highly recommended

Friendly service. Great selection of products. Got my riding helmet fitted here.However, their selection of riding gear (boots, breeches, jackets, and shirts) for men is very lacking though in my opinion. I guess there are not that many male riders i take it in the area. They mentioned that i should check the website for the men selection.Other than that they have everything you would need for horse care, horse tack, etc.

This is an awesome store! The shoes, boots and clothes are so unique and beautiful, if you ride horses, or even if you don't. There are so many top of the line gift items. I always find exactly what I am looking for. The staff are truly amazing! Especially, Laurie, I look for her every time I shop. In the past, for birthdays, wedding anniversaries, and my birthday, my husband would buy me jewelry or perfume. I was always so disappointed. Now, after many years of marriage, he gives me Dover gift cards and I always tell him.....he has given me the perfect gift!

Really love the idea and setup of this shop. Asking for help didn't end well (I was told to check for info online). Next, I shopped out several items and gave up trying to pay after 20 minutes with no help. Hoping this place gets better with organization and customer service.

I had the best experience with Randi who helped me out with saddle gullet changes. It took her 30+ minutes to change the entire thing, however, despite how hard it was, she stayed on and helped us! Thank you Randi!

Their customer service now is "lip service", over 2 weeks and nocredit for my riding pants..bought gloves thrown into a packageand arrived damaged..they chock it up to " covid etc etc" . theycharge and arm and leg and don't deliver the quality goods you want!last order with them and I am sure I will have to fight for my refunds !don't waste your time on this company...

I have gone to Dover saddlery a lot and it is alway a nice experience . However I find that the selection could be a bit better. Other than that me and my friends have had a good time shopping here and it is our go to tack store. 👍

Well run, complete, w good advice from staff but a bit maddening in its selection....the buyers fill the store with only the usual stuff. Isn't the role of a store to show us the cool new stuff? edgy clothes, exotic boots, what those Italians are doing. Totally serviceable but barely fun enough for the drive.

Our Pony Club traveled nearly two hours to come to Dover for a shopping spree. Some traffic or construction event caused the power to go out at the store, forcing management to close their doors for the day. Somehow they were able to accommodate our group though! We had a ball shopping in the near dark and had excellent customer service. My only complaint is that I wish they had more of the high end tack featured in the catalogs.

The customer service is amazing. My son had gone into the store to look around. When doing so the cashier began conversations about his dolls. She was kinda enough to play pretend with him and rang up his doll clothes. Very nice. Thank you Dover Saddlery employee.

I was very disappointed in my visit to the Moraga Dover store today. I went in to exchange some Back on Track polo wraps and purchase new boots and a bit and dealt with a woman named Karen. Dover used to have a 100% satisfaction guarantee, you could return anything at any point. I talked to an employee this past Christmas about returning the polos and she said it wouldn’t be a problem despite the fact that I had bought them a year ago. I took them in to exchange and was told very rudely that because I had purchased them over a year ago I would not be able to exchange them. To be clear they were not worn out they had only been used three times and I was not pleased with the fit. When I brought up the fact that you used to be able to return thing much past a year she told me I was wrong and that they were a company not a “Library” I drove over an hour and a half to go to the actual Dover store and do a return. I work in retail myself and I don’t have a problem with the fact that their exchange/return policy has changed I’m sure people abused it. But there was just absolutely no need for Karen’s condescending and rude attitude.

A great experience purchasing paddock boots and half chaps for my granddaughter. Melissa was extremely informative and patient, showing a number of options and taking special care with the fit: my granddaughter was very pleased with our purchases. Melissa found us just what we needed, within our established budget. I'm not a horse person, so having a knowledgeable guide was essential. I learned a lot!

A well put together store full of knowledgable employees and important equine care items, from new saddles to breeches.Please know that Dover is a high-end English catering tack store. There is no Western style tack available, and most items are priced on the higher end of the spectrum.

Awesome to be in a brick and mortar Dovers. It's a huge space with lots of selection. And they can get anything from the main warehouse in days if it's out of stock. I'd like to see a wider selection of dressage stuff.
