Good small Vons La Crescenta Location looks great & super clean. The service is excellent. Super busy as it gets. The food drinks & the snacks were cheap as seen the yellow tag purchased with Vons card. I find that the employees pleasant & cooperative. Very polite of course. Savings. Saved a lot of money. Also the checkout is busy; the self-checkout is so easy to use. No waiting for the line. Finished paying quickly. I don’t have issues with anyone.

Small vons. Open until 11pm. Only been to this location a few times. What completely blew me away the first time I’m was the floral display. This orchard display with branch accents and color coordination was just gorgeous!!! My pictures don’t do the display justice. As for the rest of the store, it seems clean and well stocked.

Yes shopped today at Vons in La Crescenta and a couple of items needed an app, which I didn’t have. Vanessa said she would give me it this time, but I need to get the app. Why doesn’t Vons just put the discount in their computer, instead of having an 82 year old getting a condescending attitude at the register.

Coming for years & received super service. Today I did not get my items bagged. The young girl with long black hair just started the next customer and told me it is not HER problem that there is no bagger. Extremely rude.

The store is consistently clean and stocked with fresh food. There are plenty of grab and go options for food on a lunch break with a full service deli and sushi available. This Vins also has a Starbucks inside. The butcher also has quick options to grab for dinner. Frequently visit and definitely recommend.

Stopped in to pick up food for a funeral reception. Albert in the deli was amazing! He took care of us very quickly and even gave us a larger to-go container for our favorite Red, White & Blue potato salad. Great customer service and the deli had a larger selection than our store at home.

Good choices of frozen dinners! Got lots of sizes of Lawry's seasoning salt. Albertson's had none! So glad Vons had them and also cheap dinner napkins and some signature brand flavored seltzer waters. Need more variety though. And no one to help me bag my items. Heavy Sodas were hard to move. Need more handicapped spots and less spots for people who buy online. I never see anyone in those and it's a waste.

This place has to up their game. Seriously, their beef, chicken, and seafood selections are NOT great! Customer service is virtually NONEXISTENT. I was waiting for someone to assist me at the self checkout and no one came. So, I ended up leaving without buying anything. And, on rainy days, there’s a water leak from the ceiling. I wouldn’t want to come back.

This had been my supermarket since moving to La Crescenta about 10 years ago, and they may not always run the fanciest store, but it met my family's needs. 2 days ago, when I went to the pharmacy, I noticed their adjacent meat department looked like Soviet era Russia, with very little filling the refrigerated section. Yesterday, I was a few minutes into my regular shopping and noticed that the meat department was even more desolate, which prompted me to look around the store and see that the company has just given up. The ceiling tiles are missing, which is probably for the best because the roof has been leaking since are least last year. It was a good thing none of the many feet of rain we've gotten this year, was coming down at the moment, or I would have again seen the myriad buckets and tarps around the store and gross water dripping on the food. I asked for a manager to tell them that the store could charitably be described as appearing to have been hit by a tornado. As of 5/3/23, the store director informed me that she has told HER manager and they have no intention of fixing the store any time soon. Clearly, they have given up on this location until after their mega-merger reduces the grocery store options even further. It is abundantly clear that, despite pleas that they are part of the community, they are closing this store and don't want to spend a penny on it or proper staffing if they can still get their loyal customers to ignore the squalor and the emptier shelves. RIP, Vons!

Poor and slow pharmacy service . Learn how to service people. Eye contact, speak up maybe half smile or look at least look content. They looked like I was inconveniencing them coming here. At least make it fast, if I didnt have to wait this long I wouldn't have complained but 30+ mins for 1 basic order is a joke.I will however give a 5 star rating to the real staff at the vons, the checkers. Happy, fast service, ear to ear smile that bring others to smile. I thank you.

Product availability is good, store is clean but, some staff have a terrible attitude. They behave as if they're doing customers a favor. Shopping the other day, a product for which I had "clipped" online-line after logging in. My mobile phone does not have enough "space" to download yet another APP! When checking out, two of the items were not registering the sale price. The cashier called over an associate to help and she kept insisting that I needed to download the APP. I explained several times why I couldn't, but she just wouldn't listen!Her comment to me was "we don't like being pressured"....WHAT?When I replied, "Isn't this your job?, her demeanor took on a whole new sense of entitlement.I've worked retail, mfg, finance, and other jobs throughout my long life and would never say that to a customer or co-worker. It's my job to manage and resolve issues or conflict, not complain to the customer.I've had this experience at this store several times so I called the store and spoke with the Store Director. Fortunately, she was very receptive and forth coming with my concern. She guaranteed me that she would discuss this issue with the team member. I genuinely appreciated the time she took to listen to my concern.Thank you to this top notch store director.

Love the new app in which I find great deals and lots of savings. I would love the store itself would me better taken care of because during rainy season ceilings and flooding make it dangerous to walk through aisles.

Ok. What can one say about a supermarket in the United States especially Los Angeles? Well it obviously depends on the buyer for the store. This Vons/Pavillions seems to have quite a smattering of everything. There is a US Bank office small change machine, outdoor furniture, a pharmacy, a reasonable ethnic foods section, personal care has a wide selection of new and the usual products. They cater to Vegan and gluten free crowds.The bakery is quite good. All in all I feel a supermarket should inspire one to cook. Not leave one flat and zeroing in on preprocessed meals. The leading cause of diabetes obesity and all that follows. I am by nature not a huge enthusiast of shopping. That being said I was there for 4 hrs lost in awe. Ralph's in La Crescenta so far is number 1 in inventiveness and late hours but this runs a close 2nd. Parking is always available. Safe and has a self check out if inclined. Yep. I'll be back. Though Albertsons takes the prize for those back of store discounted by 50% miscellaneous stuff...still bloody expensive at times considering the discount but worthy of finding all that stuff you do and dont really need. Good job Pavillions though I havent been to the rarefied air of west Los Angeles for yonks. It may be a case of being up in them there hills too long. And no I dont keep a 3 eyed child in the basement because I married my brother! We are civilized and even my neighbour is a stuntman at Universal. It's a preference or familiar area to live in these them there foothills. Remember, the real snakes are People. Have fun spending! I still cant justify $6.00 for a loaf of good bread. AVOID! Multiple instances of rudeness from a staff in the butcher department. It’s a shame, Bc some staff and management are pretty great. But to hire and keep some of these bad apples really spoils the whole thing. I don’t think it’s necessary for staff to be extra friendly or helpful. But repeated rudeness from the same staff member over different visits shows there is a problem here. Will not go back.

Extremely well stocked store. Extremely well placed items the aisles are the double split aisle so you can walk through either side or right through the middle. Extremely efficient. Nice people. I go out of my way to shop here.

This Vons store seems to always be out of stock on a lot of normal everyday items!! Chips, corn dogs etc!! When you go shopping there early, like between 6am-7am, they have items for stock up and down the isles!! I'm disabled and drive the cart to shop, and with all the merchandise blocking the isles, makes it 10x harder for me to shop!! The early morning, the 1st 2 hours after opening, is supposed to be for the elderly and the disabled customers!! The staff should take this into account when placing the items in need of stocking on the floor!! It's obvious they don't!!TAKE THE TIME AND GO TO ALBERTSONS JUST PAST THE PET SMART, ALWAYS IN STOCK AND THE STORE IS ALWAYS SUPER CLEAN!!SORRY ABOUT THAT VONS, BUT YOU GUYS HAVE TO STEP UP YOUR GROCERY STORE GAME!!

The best that this Vons offers is how clean everything is, well stacked, nice parking. I live closer to the Mount Gleason one, but is not the same.Shameful that a different town will make such a difference. Only a few miles away.

The Vons is conveniently located on Foothill and Pennsylvania in La Canada. The service staff was friendly and helpful. The selection of the store is varied and chosen to accommodate most lifestyles and tastes. Check out was quick and easy, the cashier friendly and helpful! This is a very nice Vons and I would recommend it to anyone.I'd like to add a final note, in Vons deli department, they have a potato salad they call cage-free. This is the closest to actual homemade I have ever tasted. Please go in and buy it by the pint, or quart! Please take advantage of this delicious potato salad, so they keep it on their menu!

Not sure why us three ( myself, my sister and her friend ) were lied to and refused service at Starbucks by Ricky, but we all felt uncomfortable. I called the VONS store and spoke to someone after leaving because he said he was closed - spoke to someone who advised Starbucks was still open for one more hour after going back in and letting the barista know that they are in fact open, he than proceeded to take my order. This was a pit stop to use the auto charging station and we just wanted some coffee. Not a good look VONS -

Definitely one of the nicer Vons I've been to, large parking lot with plenty of parking, store is large inside and organized well. A lot of grocery stores feel cramped with small deli and bakery sections, this Vons feels open and easy to navigate. Store is always clean, shelves are neatly organized and the staff is friendly and helpful. Because of it's larger size they're able to stock items you won't find at smaller stores, having more options as a customer is never a bad thing. Conveniently located on Foothill Blvd and Pennsylvania Ave it's very easy to find and access.

Stopped by to get a sandwich from the deli. I found the service to be very good friendly and courteous. The lady at the deli area was nice to give me and idea of all the different types of Sandwiches she had available to make. I chose the roast beef with just about everything on it. It was a large size sandwich and very delicious. There is even a seating area where you can enjoy your meal at. Very nice clean location.

It's a nice place to shop. Clean, friendly, and has a pharmacy. Bakery inviting and deli makes great sandwiches.Only downside for me is they have cut back on the amount of gluten free products they carry, but then, they carry more than their competitors.

Went for the deli. Slow service, staff didn't know what's on the menu - they had to walk around the counter to read what came with my order more than once. Staff was condescending to every guest I saw interact with them. I went to grab a few groceries while there, and the prices were ridiculous. If you're not a member, expect to pay 2x what you would elsewhere, and if you're a member, expect to pay 1.5x. To be fair, the sandwich was pretty good, but I will not be returning.

By far the biggest & cleanest VONS experienced. And great prices for Peet's coffee lovers, fyi ($8.99 for 10 oz. bag). And and and ...don't ever be embarrassed to peruse items on sale by the dairy fridges...found Peet's compostable K-Cups, lightbulbs, and laundry detergent at Grocery Outlet prices. I shall be back for the Bargain Hunt...

It has everything we need, it's quiet, the people that go there and work there are great. It's clean, pretty and new-ish. It's at the corner so you can enter from either Pennsylvania or Foothill and they've got an efficient self-check out section, a US Bank (yeah!) and Starbucks. They have the yummiest baked breads.
