Not bad for me visiting to Ace Hardware at La Crescenta, Foothill Blvd location. I really like the garden, hardware items and pet supplies as well. Not busy as usual. Busy on Fridays. (Which I can tell.) Employees are friendly, great atmosphere & enjoying examining the fountains at outside the nursery area. Roaming inside the store. Just fun. So many tools to search for between 1st & 2nd floor. Fresh air. The prices are cheap & expensive. I’ll come back again whatever I want to. Best day in my life.

I can't tell you how happy I am about this place. Convenient, lots of friendly staff, reasonable prices, huge parking and a million times better than Home Depot. Thank you Ace for hiring such awesome staff and making things easy to find

I bought a pair of Corona garden clippers which completely malfunctioned and became unusable after about only 3 uses. I tried to return the clippers, but it was more than 30 days after the purchase, so the clerk told me they wouldn't accept the return. I advised that I was a regular, loyal customer, but warned that I wouldn't ever return to the store again unless they took back the defective product. In response, I was told essentially that's it ok if I don't return and that they would not accept the return of a defective product after 30 days. So I left the clippers there and walked away. Now instead of going to ACE whenever possible, since it's close to home, I buy instead from Amazon or go to the Do-It Center in Tujunga. Over time, it's going to cost that store thousands in profits.

I’ll be avoiding shopping at ACE for a while. The workers were nice and helpful. The prices though are not what they’re advertised at all. I got a few items and when I got rung up at the register, all the items got marked up by a couple dollars each. I had to show the price on my phone one by one for each item for the gentleman to go back and change them. Maybe it’s a problem on their tech end that they’re working on. I don’t know. But that wasn’t a nice experience. Again nice and helpful workers but the prices are out of place.

It's local and it works. Between Ace and DIY, I can get the job done. If I need anything electrical or a large ticket/expensive item, I end up going to the bigger stores like home Depot or Lowe's.

This Ace Hardware has a lot of inventory. The store is well laid out, and staff is very helpful. The downstairs is the hardware & tools dept. The elevator makes it easy to move your shopping cart & large materials.

Ide say 99% of time I go in, I find what I'm looking for. So when they don't have it, it's okay. 99% is very ,very good. Service is great, helpful,etc. Okay, okay, you got me, I love Ace hardware.

This store just opened in December 2019. They have a great supply of Stihl power garden equipment. And lots of outdoor cooking BBQs and supplies. Electrical section is only suitable for small home work projects. The plumbing section surprisingly has some large diameter plumbing drain fittings. The garden department is relatively small. The front section of the store include some home decoration items similar to what OSH had. The store is very well staffed with a super polite work crew. Ace is great replacement for OSH.The cashier will ask for a contribution to some organization at check-out.

I think this is the largest Ace I've ever been to. Two stories. You can make your own Christmas lights here, and the my have an especially impressive range of lump charcoal. I drive all the way from Pasadena to visit this store.

Hands down one of the best hardware store in Los Angeles County. They have most everything but any serious lumber, rebar, or commercial valves. Otherwise they have everything else. Staff are beyond helpful and nice. Wait in line is very short and the store is very clean. Everything is in its place. A++++++. Thank you

The Web site said that they refill LP tanks and they do not. They only offer exchanges. With that said, they were helpful and friendly.

Don't visit with a clean vehicle. The landscaper blew parking lot dust all over my freshly washed truck. It is probably safe to park there after 9 or 10 AM .

Found what I wanted but took me a while as I needed help finding a particular tool and no one would help. I finally went to the help desk downstairs after searching all of aisle 42 and he helped me. Hoping the tool I got will work. It has an odd square end so hard to find. Also had to ask for help tlin the gardening section and bought bird bath bit it was so heavy I couldn't lift it. Had to get help after I bought it to get it in my trunk. I just wish it wasn't so hard to get help. Otherwise I felt blessed. The birdbath I got was sturdy cement so that's why I was unable t p even lift the two parts. Still better than DIY which had glass ones that break too easily. $69 for the good sized one at DIY. Only wish they were less expensive. Oh well I am pretty happy now it's in my back yard waiting for the birds to enjoy. Even got my discount with my ACE membership key card. Woop woop!

This is the Platonic ideal of an Ace Hardware.I go out of my way to shop here. Every single interaction I’ve had has been great, everyone is super nice and helpful. Idk what is in the water at this hardware store but man do I wish more places were like it. 10/10

Do not order a push to start key from this store. I placed an order and waited 2 weeks for a key fob for my 2019 Lexus to arrive. After being called I made an appointment and went to the store. After arriving I was told they lost the key fob. I waited again for 2 weeks and made another appointment and went to the store. I was told that they could not program my key because their computer only went up to 2017. I am in a wheelchair and it is difficult to go out of the house. They offered nothing in compensation. I called my mechanic at Flintridge Auto and he gave me the number of his mobile locksmith. He came to my home 2 days later and reprogrammed a new key for $70 less than Ace was going to charge. Incredible incompetence and horrible customer service.

Local hardware store, good for a quick stop, but not as wide a selection as Home Depot or Lowes. They do accept paint recycling here if in the original container, you just have to find an employee to help you out.

Terrible customer service! I purchased a Big Green Egg Barbecue and pretty much all the accessories that I really love but the fire ring cracked after about 2 years of use. I contacted Big Green Egg and they said they would honor the warranty claim but I have to go through the dealer only. I went to Ace in La Crescenta and they said I need to email their customer service. I received a business card from the salesman with their email and sent an email twice. It has now been a month! I have not received an acknowledgment or a call. There has been no help from them. I do not recommend this store for their poor customer service.

From gardening, paint , tools, and outdoor furniture they have it all. The employees are knowledgeable and helpful. During the holidays they are well stocked. I like this Ace because they usually have exactly what I need.

This used to be an Orchard Supply Hardware store. It is now Ace Hardware with the same feeling of OSH. A new member of the neighborhood that feels like an old friend.

Love this place. Easy parking. Nice employees. Short lines. Well stocked shelves. Just a pleasant experience. I don’t care if it costs more than HomeDepot. My time and my sanity is more important than the few bucks I save.Having said that, yes for very large purchases I still succumb to HomeDepot (unwillingly)
