Great selection of socks for the average and smaller footed. If you have larger feet, as I do, UK 14 (US 15). The selection is very limited. Which was a disappointment for a dedicated sock shop. The shop is crammed with some very fun and stylish socks and I would recommend to those looking to add some funk to their collection....for clarity, that's style funk and not stinky feet funk..

So many socks! So much fun! We got great Christmas gifts for everyone in the family 😁 Had a ton of fun just looking at all the crazy great socks. Music socks, doctor socks, mathematician socks, anime socks...have fun!

Really not much to see here. Lots of touristy shops and restaurants.However, there is a decent view of the Monterey Bay in the open area overlooking the beach, so that's worth checking out for a couple minutes.

Perfect place to spend the day and hang outI love bringing the family down here you have plenty of options from restaurants,drinks,liquor,candy,deserts,ice cream,biking list goes on this is a place to definitely make time to stop by check it out not to mention there is numerous annual car shows and can't forget to mention the Monterey bay aquarium

Good place to spend a day with family. Rent a bike, bike around till Fishermans wharf and back through the bike trail. Have food, lounge around....This place has good restaurants, clean roads and good places to sit, good beach fronts etc.

It was fun they had toe socks and any superhero you can think of fun shopping got leopard print fuzzy socks with turn down tops they make my boots look great.

Cute sox! Pricey. Excellent customer service. Every kind of topic you can imagine. They even had a German Short-haired Pointer sock. I had to buy it, it's the same kind as my grand-dogger.

I have no idea why this place is now called Sockshop instead of just Cannery Row, but it's still a must stop visit when coming to Monterrey. There are tons of dessert shops like Nestlé Cookies and Ghirardelli Chocolates and lots of touristy souvenir shops as well. You can walk out behind the shops to look at the ocean right below and they also have a little plaza for John Steinbeck if you appreciate classic American literature.

Idiot clerk there, or is he a stupid thief? Over charged my wife, charged her for two items she didn't have, then tried to fix it by giving a % discount, which wasn't enough again. I told him to cancel the whole transaction and start over, but he tried his way again but ended up charging tax on five items, not the three she bought. By this time she was so mad, she gave up. Got our credit card bill and we were charged twice

Awesome spot in Monterey this is where all the food and memorials here to John Steinbeck. They have a couple bars and a bunch of commercial chains like Dippin Dots.It's right next to the ocean so you can imagine the amount of places that offer clam chowder! hahaReally historic spot though, I would definitely advise just walking through the place it has a real old timey feel to it. Plus I bet you'll be in the area anyways because of the Monterey Aquarium.
