Best pet center for personal service and animal knowledge. They know their products and can give you advice on anything and if they cant they will tell you where you can find out. Specialty in aquariam systems. Great selection of fish and underwater plants. Friendly staff. Pets welcome and get a free treat if the owner sees them.

I really like this pet shop it has a very neighborhood vibe to it. The sales people are very helpful if you ask and don't bother you if you don't. Parking is easy and I'm not sure if this is for all brands but for the dog food brand that I get if you purchase 10 bags you get a free one for your next one.

The staff are friendly, the store is the clean. If you like live aquarium plants they seem to have just as many plant types as fish types, extensive selection. It isn't always easy to find what you are looking for quickly trips, layout is not intuitive, but they will have it. Now that I know the layout it's much faster to pick up my supplies here.

This is my local pet shop. The owner is very knowledgeable about cats dogs and fish. He may know more but those are all I've asked him about. The people who work there are really friendly and the prices are reasonable. This place is my jam and I will be coming here as long as I live in Monterey Park.

This store has a great variety of plants, and I like their specials. The staff there are very friendly and willing to give you information about fish. If you're into planted tanks, this is your store to go to.

They have great aquarium supplies and their selection and knowledge of aquatic life is very assuring. They also have just about everything you need from a pet store. Only thing missing is the Koi pond out back.

After reading the reviews about the fish, I was excited to add a few more to my tank. I knew when I saw the condition of the tanks I should have walked out, but I didn't and am now paying the price. My water was perfect prior to the new fish and now it's a mess. All the fish have died, except for my pleko, and I have basically had to start all over again. I am usually a lot more careful about where I get my fish and will listen to my gut next time.

Everyone is so friendly here and have such a great sense of humor. If you're too far from Petco or Petsmart or they're becoming too expensive, you need to come here! Same stuff but greater prices! Trust me, I never believed it either til I went to this store. They have small animal to cats to fish to dogs. Everything :D

Really great place! Has tons of great supplies to pets! Sometimes the sales can go to 50 percent off! I even got some Denison Barbs for my aquarium!

This is a great alternative to the big chains. They carry pretty much all of the essentials. My only complaint is that sometimes when I send a friend to buy crickets for my gecko, they short her because they don't count them and they put a bunch of dead ones in. When I get them for myself, I ask them to be accurate and that works.Update: I'm not sure what has been happening, but the last couple of times I've been in to grab mealworms, they have been poor quality. The first time, I bought a tub and 90% of them were black and dead. The next two times, I checked before I bought and many of the tubs were mostly dead. This last time, they didn't even have mealworms available. Maybe I need to go elsewhere for my reptile needs?

Great variety of fish and live aquarium plants. You may also feed the fishes for a dollar. Not that many live animals but great deals can be found at this store. Plus they accept competitors coupons.

I worked for the owners a very long time ago, I read a comment about poor fish quality and should have walked out... I know for a fact that's a BIG LIE Vic is very knowledgeable about everything, and I know darn well from my experience he takes pride and joy in his aquatics department especially with over 30 years experience..

I was there to get cricket but was told they only had 7 cricket. I was charged for the 10 crickets because that is the minimum you can buy. I also needed cat food, they only have small selection of cat food. Customer service was bad today. She didn't greet or thank us for coming.
