Tasty food and chill vibe. Beach laffa has veggie, cheese and egg in flatbed, with two delicious sauces. French O is a croissant with ham, soft egg and brie, also with a a wonderful sauce, and a tiny salad on the side. They don't apear to have indoor seating, and most of the attracive looking deserts shown on review sites are only available on the weekend. Finally, road closures currently make getting there tricky.

What an amazing place to have breakfast in. A peaceful place to sit, have good Mediterranean food, and get your energy high. The collection of antiques is also nice to the eye, but above all is the vibes of the two beautiful individuals who run this place. I want to go back, like now!

The vibe is fun and easygoing. The pour over, ice tea and cappuccino were nicely done. It was fun to see people take on the skatepark terrain just below. The service is very friendly and kind. The music was very energetic and non-mainstream which broke the mold from an ordinary coffee shop. The seating was cozy and varied. This was at the end of our Bohemian Highway drive. So apropos!

A perfect cafe, if such a thing can exist. Warm, wonderful, artful space with cool art and a great outdoor space. A great Skatepark right next to the cafe surrounded by redwood trees. The owners are the sweetest couple, the food is SO GOOD. Try the Beach Laffa, you’ll be glad you did. This is the only place in a 50 mile radius that can make a perfect Oatmilk cappuccino.

What a find! Authentic Middle Eastern foods in a beautiful setting in the woods. We had read reviews recently and drove over an hour to get there. Both the scenery and food was well worth it. There are several tables with umbrellas to sit at but we chose to sit on the covered porch with a family of about 15. The atmosphere was warm, friendly, and international as we enjoyed the delicious foods. Portions are just right and the flavors were unforgettable. Highly recommend the shakshuka, and pita plate with schug. Also the owners were very welcoming and kind and we could sense the love and care that they put into the experience at Light wave. Tip, it can get foggy in Monte Rio, so bring a jacket.

We traveled in Sonoma and came across this beautiful coffee place. Gal and Ori the owners welcome everyone with smile and good vibes.The food and patisseries freshly made every day. We had incredible beach lafa, amazing Shakshuka and delicious gluten free chocolate cookies.Happy we found this place and will definitely come back!

We stopped in on our way home from Cazadero and LOVED the ambience of this little spot. There were plenty of pups and a patio to sit, nearby garden and a skatepark. The food was amazing. I just wish I lived closer! Definitely a gem. I got the coconut curry. :)

Been eating here for years so grateful when I learned they survived the pandemic. You want a great smoothie get the skater. There's never been anything on their menu which rotates periodically that hasn't been fabulous the owners are personable the staff is amazingParking: Depending on the season parking can be a little tricky

Hands down THE BEST cafe in the area! Gal and Ori are the best hosts when visiting LightWave. They make great coffee, amazing burekas and pastries and you should absolutely get the Beach Laffa, it’s the best sabich I ever had! I go every week ❤️

Amazing addition to Monte Rio tucked away by a skate park where’s there’s always warm energy. Grab a coffee or tea and a bite to eat, sit down in one of their outdoor spots and enjoy the sun on an early morning! Can’t wait to be back at lightwave ASAP enjoying more delicious meals and drinks.
