The staff are very friendly and welcoming. They offer fresh hot and cold sandwiches made to order. Their menu is fairly large, and you can customize your sandwich. They also have fresh produce and a small grocery section. Very nice stop to check out on your way through.

Passed by this grocery store and thought we should pick up groceries before heading to our campsite. Very nice staffs in the super market.I expected a supermarket like this to have not so fresh foods and near expiry things (for example the curry cubes we got was a week away from expiry date). However, this stew meat that we got there, smelled very spoiled as we opened the package. We of course did not realize that until we drove hours away from the supermarket, in our camp site.What’s scarier is that the packaging had an MODIFIED “sell by” date - Someone changed the date from JULY 24 (3 weeks before) to AUG 22. And the back had a sticker that says “use by” July 16. Exactly a month ago.Why is it ok to sell expired meats? How is this ethical in anyway??? Posting this so the owner could stop doing this. People prolly won’t die from eating it but it could cause some serous sickness, and it HAD caused food poisoning to my friend.

My Momma works there! Tell Annette her daughter says Hello, if you see her!So of course I'd say only great things.When I walk in it feels like home, not only because everything is priced the same as my home (Portland Oregon). But sometimes Moms home cooking makes it into the deli case!Your fresh veggie selection is top notch as well.Keep up that small town charm!

Awesome staff! We love stopping here for lunch at the deli great sandwiches and very affordable. Grocery is on the expensive side but they carry quality products that you cant find around here anywhere else. Produce is always full and fresh, nice wine selection. I love their small fresh bread selection, real Sourdough! Great pre seasoned tri-tips too!

Just very happy its here, wish it offered more and the prices didnt hurt so bad. But for emergency shopping its perfect. The staff is very helpful and nice. One note...They make the very BEST sandwiches within 50 mile of here. I Love LOVE their little deli and highly recommend. You can even stop and eat outside on the picnic bench out front if you're just passing by.

The people who work here are always very friendly. It is a very small town market but they carry everything, I always find what I need, and more. They have a fantastic deli, delicious sandwiches at a very reasonable price, but also great salads and amazing home cooked food, like enchiladas and meatloaf. You feel like your visiting family. Love to stop by as often as possible.

Good grocery store for something here and there you might have forgotten while grocery shopping elsewhere.Prices are pretty high and they're limited on some things.Deli is really good. Delicious sandwiches and other made to order foods.Staff is super friendly and always helpful.

Got caught in moke hill today because of storm. Owners of this store were horrible. I was parked in handi cap spot. He insisted I move my car or get towed. He was hella rude

Nice little store in a small town. They have all the essentials, and even a small deli if you need cold cuts or a sandwich. Lots of local items too. I always stop in when I'm travelling on Hwy 49 to grab a drink and snacks, and sometimes fresh veggies if I feel like cooking. Good quality products and very nice people!

Went in to get a deli sandwich made today Saturday 12:30 .First time there had heard very good. Upon ordering I asked the woman behind the counter do you have sliced sour dough she gave me this stare down and tapped an orange construction paper sign with a list of bread options.then I ask do youhave Pepper jack cheese she gives me this stare and says look at the list and taps another orange construction paper sign .I thought to myself wow okay This person is not in to this and I don't want her making me anything with her lack of care what the heck .i get people have bad days but wow just rudeness So obnoxious.Sad they lost a sale due to her poor attitude went with a frozen burrito that's how much I didn't want her touching my food

I was working at New Melones for four days and would stop by and pickup a different sandwhich each day on my return home to Sacramento. The staff was friendly and would recognized me as return customer. Quaint market and good faire for a hungry engineer. Thx for the smiles.

It’s so nice to finally have a local market so you don’t have to drive all the way to Jackson just to pick up some basic grocery items. The prices are a bit higher but I’ll gladly pay for the convenience. They always have a really good selection and if there is anything that they don’t have, they will try and order it for you, if you ask.

Very convenient given the location, decent sandwiches and cheeses to choose from in the deli, and they usually had green tea ice cream in stock which really helped keep my wife sane while she was at the height of her pregnancy cravings. They also followed CDC guidelines, though they didn’t have much in the way of enforcing mask mandates for customers flagrantly disregarding the pandemic.

BESTEST homemade sandwiches that I've had in a long time. Fresh and piled high. I couldn't even eat 1/2 of a half sandwich. Highly recommend. Nummies
