This is my first time in this Walmart, and I noticed that certain items this store has but Walmart in Oakland doesn't. Also, the availability of sizes of clothes for men is better here than in Oakland, CA. Recommend!!

I work in target so I know all about the stress in dealing with customers but wow!! I asked a worker a simple question about a return she just said I don’t know and walked away listening to music on her earphones. Then I hear her just complaining about her job throwing stuff in the floor. I heard Walmart employees are bad and lazy but damn they are terrible they would get fired quick in target.

Waiting 15 minutes for the to unlock for eye drops. Manager walked past me twice. Team members called for help and no one seemed to have the keys to any of the locked up items. Which is a lot here. Not a place to go if you need customer service

The staff are friendly but overworked and understaffed. Only a couple of the self-checkout machines are operational and despite having a couple dozen check stands Wal-Mart only staffs one. Again, this is not a dog at their employees - it's the corporation making staffing choices. Those choices make for a less than pleasant shopping experience. Yay for employees and boooo for corporate management (and I'm referring to decisions made above the level of the local store management)

Sandra…in the return service needs to learn to put her personal phone AWAY.The lady the helped me with my return said nothing to me until she wanted to ask the reason for the return.Customer service 0/10 :(It is sad that older people are loosing their manners LOL. Im 22 and have better manners I say the minimum and stay polite. It’s about treating others the way you want to be treated people…

Great value, terrible service, welcome to Walmart 😂🤷‍♂️💯 this Walmart has an abundance of incompetence with a decent skeleton of veteran employees. Some of them are quite helpful but very few have any type of positivity to contribute attitude wise (although I don't quite know if I blame them)One gripe I do have is it takes 20 minutes to get any case opened and they're always putting more and more of the store behind glass.Hopefully they can resolve their theft issue by other means because there's been MULTIPLE times I've walked out after no one can get a case opened for far too long.

Service is garbage. Everything you may need is locked behind a glass and you have to wait until someone passes by with the key. And they only give the key to certain employees. I use to love Walmart, now it's garbage.

Bad customer service all the way around, starting with management. I purchased a car battery that was leaking, tried to take it back even less than a week and with original receipt but they refused because nobody in the store knew how to handle hazardous objects, the managers need a lot of training, for they can train the employees. I called corporate and made my 90 day return warranty count, but I had to teach them how it's done.

I went to go buy a hand vacuum and they gave me the wrong one because the price led to something else, then told me they were going to call someone back to get it for me and sent no one. I then had to go out my way to find another person to help me and they decided they wanted to help another customer before me as if I didn’t ask first. This is simply horrible customer service.

This new Walmart in Ceres is fantastic. Is in a great location, and the store is always kept very neat & clean. The checkout process is pretty quick too. I prefer the self checkout, but I never want them to totally get rid of human cashiers. Now I don't have to drive all the way to Modesto or Turlock to get to a superstore.

It's walmart... Why are all these walmarts different. I thought walmart lifted the storefronts to have the same layouts across the board,to make it easy on the customer no matter what city or state you're in. Anyway in modesto you kinda have to walmart jump to get all you're walmart specific product. I use ceres walmart more, the staff is quicker at getting to the call boxes than McHenry or Plaza Parkway.

They deliver your food and oh you can take care of the kid's make it to Wear you know your kids are safe and they can't scream and holler 😭 they would say Mommy I want candy bar you don't have to do that or hear it you can be able to shop in peace when they deliverYou're food

They removed to self checkout machines that were finally working and put new ones in that hardy work and are very slow. Only one checker open, I don't mind self checkout, but it should be working right. My last visit out of 8 self checkout machines only two was working. It is dumb to put in new machines in right before the holiday rush. Everyone knows when it comes to a new computer system it take a while to work the bugs out, it never sets up as expected. There was a lot of people just leaving full carts and walking out. They was such a long wait and they would not open the other checkout lines.

Well, please don't have to use the bathroom. It is disgusting!!!!(I'm talking about the one in Plaza Parkway) Both of them are so nasty 🤢That store is a bit old but I think they can still keep the bathrooms clean.Other than that, prices are good.Nothing else more to say.

There are too many lines every time I go in very short on staff or no bags or self ckeekout is closed. This store can use a big change with new people, and keep up on cleanliness .

I went to return clothes from Christmas for my family. They have a limit how much you can return in each store. I had to go to two Walmarts to do a return. Everytime you return items they put it on a new card. So now I have two cards. They wouldn’t allow to put on an existing card. The return lady at the McHenry Walmart was rude it’s like I was ruining her day.

Lady opened self checkout for one guy with four items but turned me away and I only had one and lines only had 2 cashiers plus everyone in the line had cart fulls I ended up just leaving my item since she was only picking and choosing who she opens self checkout for and not helping any other customer just the one she knows personally

Only had two check outs open and opposite ends with long lines to check. And their dog section didn't carry any dog clothing to keep them warm . And selection of potty pads for dogs I felt wasn't very good deal for what you got and the price ..

Pretty quick on the order for pick up friendly staff new entrance way put in by return counter narrows things down going to be tight at Xmas time. Heard that the one on plaza parkway is going to be expanding and their adding possibly an automotive part for installing batteries tires and such another employee said it might be a full delicatessen

It's a great atmosphere from the moment you walk in you get a friendly greeting from the employees you get a total throw back on the movie rental experience and they have movie memorabilia and some great souvenir I say support Blockbusters Last Stand

Walmart was crowded as usual and mismanaged with only one cashier running one lane for whole store and 81 person line on self check out. Ridiculous but we all got to buy what we need and stand in line like the next man.

I have purchased items many times with cash and/or cards and whenever I do I use the self checkout and it makes things go so much faster not to mention a whole lot easier.

I shop the decent Garden and outdoor plant selection when my husband is shopping next door at Turner’s. Found a nice exotic succulent priced less than what I had eyed elsewhere. You can also sometimes find plants at a fraction of the cost in their clearance section. I have an outdoor plant I purchased 4 yrs ago that is now roughly 6-7 ft tall, vibrant, and healthy. Aside, from garden we generally only shop their outdoors’ selection and have purchased a couple of annual fishing licenses. Overall, I am not a big Walmart fan but this location happens to be conveniently located next to Turner’s when my husband shops gun supplies.

Stood behind a person at the check out for 15 minutes waiting for their family member to bring up another item for them to NOT buy… store looks dirty. Should have stood in the mile long self checkout and be accused by the recipient taker of stealing than waiting in a normal checkout lane.
