This PetSmart was awesome! Parking was super easy (I'm disabled... so this is a big deal for me). It's a big store with well spaced aisles and good lighting. They had a good selection of animals that looked healthy and well cared for.I found everything I was looking for, with many selections to choose from. I found not only more than I needed, as usual, but also better items than I had anticipated.

The workers help out a lot looking for items and whether food for cat or dog good for them. Grooming is fine depending on who helps you. I don’t understand why you have to pay for grooming in the other part of the store not in the grooming area of the store. It was different when I lived in Tracy. Parking kind of crazy in lot . You’d think they’d clean up or fix the parking lot.

It seems like everytime I go to your store they are out of Authority brand cat food. I use two kinds of this brand which I think is your store brand. I asked the sales associate in the back to check to see if she had any in the back and she advised no. I asked if she could maybe check the other store in Modesto and she said no I'd have to call them! Great customer service. Poor service and I think I will change to Pet Co or another local pet store in Modesto. I spend about 200.00 a month and feel that I can spend it with someone that appreciates my business

Ordered my dog bids online ready for pick up within an hour and a half. Super easy transaction and I was able to use a 15% coupon online. So buy your stuff online use the coupon and pick it up.

I would give 0 stars if I could, I had the worst customer service experience at this Petsmart location this afternoon.I came today to get a bird for my daughters and we decided on a parakeet and were unfortunately assisted by an employee by the name of Aver. He grabbed a few basic items we would need to get started and asked if I have a cage yet, I told him not yet and that I would like the small starter parakeet cage to use for a few days while we wait for the larger cage to get delivered, he said the cage was too small and brought the large cage, bird and accessories to be checked out. I told the cashier I didn't want that cage and I went back to go get the small size, I get back in line and while I'm waiting, he comes back and says the cage is too small and I repeated that it is a temporary cage and the one that I am purchasing right now says that it is an appropriate cage for a parakeet. (See picture below) He proceeds to say that "he's done" and aggressively SNATCHES the bird away in front of my kids upsetting and confusing them.I asked to speak to the manager of course and the manager says the employee said cage is too small and only for temporary use and I told him that I communicated to Avery multiple times that it was for temporary use and he said he would handle it.I spent 120 dollars today for a parakeet, food and cage and my pet was snatched away in front of myself and my 11 and 4 year old daughters, why does it say on the box that it is appropriate for the bird that I purchased?....I've never felt so disrespected as a paying customer and will never shop at a Petsmart again if that is how they want to treat their customers.

I’m a glutton for punishment and continue to go back to PetSmart. No more. They continually change the prices on me. My dog is 11 years old. For 7 years (around once a month), I took her to PetSmart in Salt Lake City to be groomed with a furminator for about $72. Then I tip $20. Go to Chicago for a year or so, same thing. Then I moved here, and guess what? Almost $100! Today, I signed the document and initialed where the price would be $80. I go to pick her up and the price changed to $98. I ask why? They say it's the wrong breed then proceeds to tell me that I've paid similar the past 3 times. I wonder why? Maybe I don't feel like arguing with a little girl and want to take my dog home. Secondly, she’s a mix, it’s not up to you what breed she is when it was previously decided at multiple PetSmart’s what to classify her under; not to mention, a DNA test. This is the 3rd time they do that. I've had a PetSmart profile for 11 years. Now you want to play goody two shoes and charge me more? Bonnie is calm and sweet. Everyone who meets her, including people that hate dogs, says that. Not even joking. I support local and big boxes because I believe a job is a job. However, in this case, I beg anyone who goes here, not to and go somewhere else. I feel ripped off and considering reporting this higher at the company. Unfortunately, this is the first time I didn’t tip a groomer. I took $20 out at the ATM to give her until they pulled this bait and switch. From now on, I will go local and get her things from Costco and online.

Took my dog into the groomers a few month back, this was not my dogs first appointment at Petsmart, but first time with this groomer. The groomer (Whitney) claimed that my dog needed to be sedated before she was brought back in because she was "aggressive" with her. Put a block on my Petsmart account so I couldn't book any further appointments. Fast forward, took my dog to Bark'n Beauties, had no issues. Said she handled like any other dog. Petsmart needs to check their groomers and maybe get a true professional before recommending drugging dogs.

We went to buy a harness for our bulldog. We took both of our dogs. Everyone was friendly and helpful. We ended up with the harness pictured below. The employee, April (I believe), helped us size it to fit. It's perfect!The cashier was ready to check us out as soon as we were ready to pay. The store was clean and well stocked. It was, overall, a very pleasant experience.

Large petstore with cat adoptions available, freshwater fish & plants, birds, reptiles, guinea pigs, and perhaps other rodents too:-) large supply of pet foods and supplies. They have a frequent customer reward program that gives discounts and coupons. Grooming on site which I use & like for my Shiba Inu. Dog training & a pet hospital too, neither which I have used.

The store is great. They have almost everything I could ever need for my dog. The customer service was amazing. I was able to quickly find help when I needed it. I also bought a harness that was just a bit too big. The returns process was extremely quick and convenient.

Pet Smart is always a very comfortable and happy place to shop for your pets. Whether for your cat, kitten, puppy, or dog. Pet Smart has it all with a smile for you, and your loving pet. My wife and I shopped there just this afternoon. We had to bring our puppy, and dog. We were purchasing Missy's first collar, and name tag. While we were looking, a polite associate offered Missy, and Bliss a treat. Bliss politely, and cautiously passed, while Missy accepted her treat. We found everything we were looking for at the Modesto store on McHenry. This was our first time visiting this location; And it won't be our last.
