Was told a certain price for grass hay and so i ordered to buy that, then I noticed my total amount was alot higher well they had charged for another higher amount per hay... my receipt was all scratched in writing like it was correct and then added more amount I drove off just didnt want to bother i just won't return with that experience felt like I wasn't welcomed from the start.

I needed medicine...opthalmic antibiotic ASAP, but everywhere except this store had nothing in stock. It had to be shipped, and I am crippled... unable to walk or drive. So called here, and, to begin, Hanna answered... No automated menu! She was so sweet, polite, knowledgeable, and learned it was in stock there plus she told me they were closing at 3 for the holiday. My husband was able to go there on his lunch break and obtain the medicine with no extra fees for shipping etc.It's a big store, very clean and well stocked and organized with not just animal food but all kinds of practical needs and toys for the entire house and outdoors.Hanna was just perfect, and my problem was solved with a happy ending. We're solucky to have this store in Modesto.... And they had some sweet kitties there too fora real home like atmosphere.Hanna was exactly the type of employee you want to deal with in any circumstance... Lovely, knowledgeable,and on the ball.

Good variety of feed. Some essentials for most pets including dogs, cats, birds and horses. Cater to the bigger animals. Staff (owners?) were very friendly and helpful. Asked for some bird feed and the weighed it put and bagged it for me.

I've been going here for as long as I can remember. Used to come as a child for chicken feed and dog food. I've continued to buy my animal feed here ever since. The store is well organized with a really good variety of products. The prices are in line and in many cases cheaper than the national chain stores. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Always have been!!! I'll be coming here until the day I die. To the staff and owners: thank you for keeping this community Icon going all these years. You're a part of Modestos history. Just like graffiti night and the cruise on McHenry boulevard. Great job to all of you!!!

My all time favorite from childhood to now.I buy my hens and my suet feed from there, as well as hay and bedding. Would much recommend.Take a look around the place and you’ll fall in love immediately.

I love the convenience right in the city outskirts rather than having to drive far out to other places. For a small place they have a nice selection of needed things for our horses, chickens, dogs and more. They provide helpful friendly service. I have depended on them for feed for years.

I always go to this feed store to support local business as I am a local pet groomer in our lovely city. I buy products here at a higher price, on Amazon they are obviously cheaper just to support locally!! I purchased a spray bottle of magic sheen by the time I got home it had all leaked out into my trunk. I took it back right away, the owner gives me a dirty look and says is this my fault? I walked out without my $ or product. As a business owner you bite the bullet sometimes bud! Yes it is your fault that the product was obviously damaged/leaking it was $13 but I’ll never go back and support your business.

A quaint feed and supply store. The gentleman that assisted me was nice but seemed in a rush - the store was not busy at all. I would NOT recommend buying chicks from this place! I purchased 45 chicks and the next day 14 were dead. I called and he did let me come back in for replacements but within the week all 45 I had gotten died. I would only recommend purchasing feed and or supplies here, however they are a bit more pricey then others.

The one feed store that has homemade farm supplies like nesting boxes, coups, etc.. All you need to do is ask a question to be off and rolling with one of the two exceptionally experienced ranch hands to aid you with your needs. The store has everything for all animals, livestock and ranch.
