Last month I had to leave the store without buying anything. There is no AC its hot in there poor workers. Today I went again hoping they had AC and still not. I love shopping at dollar tree who doesn't? Melted chocolates. Fix the air. Please.

Dirty place!, Emily them manager needs to be fired, You have 30 plus customers In line one Register open manager keeps walking in and out of the store, Meanwhile you have 2 or 3 other employees walking around doing nothing! The register has no cash in its drawer, causing even more of a delay! The one cashier needs the manager to get cash, and nobody can find her cause she's outside! This picture does not show everybody in line. This is just in front of me. There are more people behind me that wrap around the corner 1, line 1 register, open fire Emily!

Likely permanently closed, and I know why they closed this store permanently. Probably because they failed the health inspection. I noticed the reviews saying that there are rats inside. This store was very disorganized, and it's also hot inside because of the lack of A/C, which would be the worst during the summer. Thank goodness I only shopped here only once and I will not shop at this store again. I bet my local Dollar Tree stores in Manteca (both of these locations) are way better and much more organized than this one in South Modesto/Ceres. This is totally outrageous! Shame on the owners (for this location only, not the company itself) for failing to meet the inspections.

This particular store is def one of the cleanest ones in the Modesto, Ceres area. They also have a bigger/ better/ more organized selection. Not big on the price hike of course. After all... The name is Dollar Tree, not 1.25 tree. It's still a great store with low priced items. There's something for everyone.

Update: the website says open until 10pm. In fact it states open while I sit here in front of the store. Employees saw me try and open door. Lights are all on,, no ones home. Its like im invisible. Maybe update the hours to whatever the employees feel like that day. Oh and im in front calling and calling every number the website offers. I see about 4 employees, again no one home. In fact someone picked up and then hung up. So yeah this dollar tree just like the rest. Zero stars.Always clean and neat. The lady I talk to that is always tidying up is very sweet and I try and help her keep things neat by putting items back that I see in the wrong spot. This is much appreciated by employees and so I will always come to this location. Ive had horrible experiences at mchenry and not so great at paradise dollar tree. hatch always has very nice employees, just the ac has been issue in past and reason for my visits to other stores. I hope its fixed now.

What can you say? Everyday items for, you guessed it, $1.00!The new layout IS easier to navigate, once you get the hang of it.New seasons stuff all the time. I use Dollar Tree as a calendar. I know the time of year by the displays up front. Handy.I'll only fault them for one thing; open additional registers when the customers are lined up down the aisle!Thanks

I took my granddaughter here on Saturday and the smell was so bad we had to leave without buying anything. Which is a record for us! I honestly don't know how this store is still open.. I think the smell was from dead rats! My sister and I saw rat traps on top of the frozen food case a couple of months ago. The store is a mess, they don't deserve any stars!

The management here is bad. The line is almost to the back of the store and the employees are just standing around talking. Cashier doesn't call for another cashier. Manager should be fired.

They always have what we are looking for!! Large variety of products and with the exception of lack of staffing so there were only two cashiers on a busy day the experience was good

Went in to buy 1 package of envelopes. There was 2 registers open, about 20 people in line. A young girl didnt have enough money on a card and neither cashiers knew how to void the transaction. A third employee was waiting because she couldn't clock in at 5 minutes before 5pm! She didnt know how to void the transaction either. Now there was about 30 people in line. Another person (with no name tag from dollar tree) tried but then had to go through removing Each item one by one....I finally walked out. I don't believe this would happen in a different neighborhood....whoever the manager is isn't training employees properly...I don't plan on returning.This was at Dollar Tree on Hatch in Ceres, CA

I love the prices! The staff are nice.The store is kept pretty clean. The only recommendation I have is get the A/C fixed! It can be miserable in there on a hot day!

Great deals. Need more clerks. Most cashiers today have no idea what customer service is and thats such a shame. I started out in the retail clerks union in the late 60s and just retired from doing over 20 yrs. for Walgreens. Sadly with things changing so rapidly alot of cashiers will never reach the top of their game bcuz not many of their superiors give a Damn and don't give them enough good advice because they never had the right people teaching them. It's almost a dying breed now and it takes to long to start earning a liveable wage. Technology over people. Machines taking over and its not 4 the best. Money over Man....too sad and its just the beginning.

Dirty store, saw a rat inside the store and no one came to see if I was okay when I screamed, they stood around laughing at me and when I left the store my son was still in there and he said they were mocking me, they were really rude. We won’t visit this store again.

I always go in there to bye 1 or 2 things but it never fails what I was suppose to get would have cost $4. But no answer. I ended up buying $36. One of the best store ever!!!

This store is so poorly run, stood in line, again because they had 2 checkers. Frozen stuff in cart. Chasier rude didn't reply to my thank you just went on to next customer. Need to stick to the Turlock store.

It's an overall nice store, staff is nice, lines are decent, and there's a lot of different variety of products there. I would say it can be unorganized at times but other than that it's a great store

What can you say. It's a great dollar store.They have a little bit of everything for a dollar.There are some good deals to be found.
