Last time I’m going there. Only had 2 items waiting behind people with full cart. They open another cashier saying another one open. So I walked over and employee said rudely out loud. No it’s the next person in line. Normally I don’t get upset about waiting in line but it’s the way how you say and look at the customer. No wonder only fast food employees will get $20-22 raise in April more than dollar employees store. With a mouth attitude like that will hire rude people work at that kind of place🙄. Next time I’ll just go to Walmart or order amazon instead. Don’t have to deal with that kind of attitude at self check out or delivery period!!!

I shop here often. They are always stocked with cool items. Also along with Customer Service always greeting anyone that comes thru that door. One of the Managers that has been there for years she is such a helpful and kind person always with a smile and helping customer's her name is Lucia . I will highly recommend going here if you ever decide to stop by. Great Prices awesome product.

Upon checkout, one of the checkers wasn't wearing a mask. The signs on the doors show masks are MANDATORY. If we have to wear one, why doesn't the employees have to? The person in front of me asked her why she wasn't wearing a mask and she replied "yeah, they tell us we have to wear a mask but, nope, I'm not going to...nope". Really??? Your boss and store management tell you that you need to wear a mask and you tell them no? Yeah, if I told my boss that I wasn't going to wear a mask, I'd be unemployed. Not good.

The staff was extremely welcoming and nice, both coming and going. The wide variety of items was a very nice suprise. The homegoods selection was good with great prices. The groceries were so so if I'm honest and the prices for them were average. I will be checking back time to time.

I have mixed feelings on this this place. In some cases their prices are great! And in others, they seem over priced. Some store are clean and well organized and others are a mess. Some have good employees and others not so much. So over all it's a good option for some items just beware of any quality issues and with some stuff, prices are easily cheaper somewhere else. Good for produce, canned goods, and some snacks. Bad for seasonal items due to low quality and health and beauty products seem over priced. Cleaning and laundry products run about the same as other stores.

Cashiers are very rude. Don’t converse or even say anything. Very unprofessional and unwelcoming. The cashiers even talk to each other and ignore the customer making it very awkward at checkout.Edit: went to dollar general yesterday evening and I didn’t get home with a few things I paid for. I went there this morning to get the stuff and they put it back on the sale floor and both items were sold to someone else. I worked in retail for 11 years and if a customer left a bag behind we never put it back on the sales floor, We made a note of the time it was left and put it in the safe with the belongings. Also the 4 female cashiers were talking among themselves and completely ignoring me while I stood in line to be helped for about 2 minutes. Again, employees are rude and very unprofessional.

Good prices open early and closes late. Typically they have everything I've need so far. Employs wear masks, which is huge to me. Staff is friendly . Only one thing is theft and loss . But don't expect damn near every one is. I definitely don'

Could not ask or want better sales clerks. Always courteous, friendly and willingness to accommodate customers.There is nothing better than to walk into your local market, and greeted as much as treated, with a welcoming smile and much respect. Have never had a bad experience. And yes, I do have a few favorites...thks Dannielle for always putting your store and customer in mind...can't ask for a better employee.Obviously, prices vary but always a savings...love the produce.

I go here once a week, not because I want to its just around corner. Jenna is super awesome just has that personality. Others seem to call for help and no one comes. Taking lunches not planned well. Some decent deals if you don't want to travel and wait at Walmart for shampoo and a gallon of milk. Just wish they were a little more organized with scheduling.

It has a surprising amount of goods. The food section isn't huge, but they do carry eggs. Usually well stocked. Checkout is slow as they only use one clerk most of the time.

Charged me all the wrong prices. They do not acknowledgecustomers when they enter. A nice hello would be nice. Also when clerks are loading or should I say unloading those Gonzales. They are every where in the store. I am handicapped hard to maneuver in store.

I've found good deals here and they stock a little bit of everything from cute house decor to fresh produce. Everything is fairly easy to find and the employees are so helpful. My new favorite haunt.

This store is usually clean and well stocked the lines are sometimes long but they at least try now to open more lanes.Since this whole COVID Dollar general and Raleys have been my absolute favorite stores. They made this whole thing feel normal. They usually have everything in stock. During this whole time I told people About Dollar General and they also would find things in stock when everyone else would be out.I am thankful for every employee there that helped me out when I had questions or called in to ask if something was in stock.Thank you guys!!!5 stars all around ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My cousin and I just popped in for a quick pick-up of popsicles and some gum. We are both popsicle addicts.( My name is Joe and I've been eating popsicles since I was two years old). I can't tell you much about the other products for sale but this is one of the few places that carry my kind of popsicles, real sugar, real sweet, real good. Can't be beat on the price either. For popsicles... Place is clean and the clerk very nice and friendly. My cousin dropped her cup of coffee right in front of the register; big mess, but the clerk did not freak out and laughingly was going to clean up his self, but we did it ourselves and the other customers in line calmly awaited our clean up on isle one. It was more of a fun time shared rather than a tragedy endured alone. Only four stars because I've only been there once. Probably deserve five, but I never went past the register and just can't give out information I don't know about.

Terrible customer service. The woman at the counter was incredibly rude and unprofessional. We were so blown away by the blatant disrespect, we left our items at the counter and walked out. As we left, she said something to another customer in line, mocking us. As someone who works in customer service I’m absolutely appalled that someone like that is possibly allowed to work in such a place. I suggest a worker-cleanup where associates are retrained in BASIC MANNERISMS. Disgusting.Also, the store aisles were chaotic and unkempt. Very unorganized and unprofessional work environment.

I love this little gem of a store.Why pay higher prices?You get slot for your money .There are some things they don't carry,but that's true got other stores as well.I have bought groceries as well as house hold items and have been satisfied.Yhe staff are very helpful as well.I accidentally left a bag there and the clerk Jenny called me as soon as I got home.My number was on my check.I have found all the staff very friendly and helpful.

Went in to get a couple of things... Line was backed up with only one cashier. Waited in line for 10mins to not move an inch. Customer said this happens all the time here... So I Put my stuff back and left. Never going back to this location again.

I'd like to take a moment to say what an awesome store this is. Dollar General on Tully Rd. in Modesto help me and went the extra mile for my 81 yrs Mother's Surprise party. Lucia and Marvin both were extremely attentive and kind. We laughed and worked together for a solution to an issue I had. They with their help the party was a huge success. Thanks Lucy and Marvin. You Guys ROCK!!!

Its a really good store they have so many essentials for such little price, I will say alot of the time theyre low on staff, but other than that it's a nice store, me and my family typically go there at least once sometimes twice a week.

Convenient and inexpensive store. Has a little bit of everything♡ So far their store brand ( Clover Valley) of EVERYTHING I've tried has been just as good if not better than name brand EXCEPT the cereal.

Rude customer service the blond lady is so loud talking about her personal bussiness to customers and other employees, talk on your own free time not while holding up the line because you're chitchating about personal issues very unprofessional! I complain to the manager and obviously nothing was done about it i over heard her talking bad about a customer to another employee that is just rude! When i called her on it she just started arguin and screaming in front on other customers now every time she sees me she rolls her eyes at me. Ill just drive the extra 5 minutes to another store not worth the headache.

I enjoy coming here the prices are great they always have good deals but the registers are too slow not enough cashiers plus some shouldn't even be on the register that girl Amanda is very rude and snippy maybe the manager needs to give her extra classes on customer service i hope they pay attention to this.

I absolutely love this particular dollar general. Customer service os 5 stars and i get great deals for low price. Not to mention its like a mini walmart. I can grocery shop as well. I give this dollar general 5 stars hands down

Cloths are always such a mess. It's unbarrable to look through anything. I get so frustrated cause everything I touch is hitting the floor. Manager is the sweetest ever. But lazy employees.
