I like to get my rotisserie whole chicken at this locationIt is very clean how they handle and cook them. Whenever I need to improvise to make quick meals this is one of my go-to. The size is good and the flavor is neutral not too much seasoning which is good so you can add your flavoring to it.The price is $4.99 each.Heck of a deal!

I love Costco, the products, most of the employees. However was judged based on appearance and asked to see of our cards and id's while waiting in self checkout. I understand enforcing a policy However when looked at up and down while I said we both have our own cards, I was put off as this is not how I've been treated at other locations. So tonight we drove an extra 10 minutes to visit a different costco. It's not what you say it's how it is said.

What do you say about Costco? It's the same wherever you go. I was borne and raised here in CA and it's the most consistant store in every one. ... I do think they need to Highlight the Best Deals better though. We need to see more seasonal items featured too.

Who doesn't love Costco. Superior quality products, and you get more for less money. Plus, all the additional benefits like the optometrist, travel, and fuel station. Very exited for the Riverbank location. If you don't have a membership, get one.

I love that they open @ 9 am now 🤗. Convenient location but getting into parking lot & having to by pass gas station area to get to entrance of warehouse is not. Always busy unless you go the last hour before closing😏

THE BEST!! Always loved Costco but this location is something special. Great selection, larger floorspace than most of the other Costcos in our area and they still have the outdoor food court!I love stopping for a quick lunch with my dogs, always a good time and some good deals.

I was having a bad day &forgot where I parked. The gas attendant offered to watch my cart while I searched. They are super efficient at the cash register too. Great service & pricing!

What can I say lol it's Costco, we all love Costco especially the food!! Just don't go unless you have extra time cause it's crowded, and the parking is crazy, but again it's Costco I love going here, my kids love the samples lol

Great prices for bulk items but lines inside whether week days or early mornings it’s packed. It’s like no one works! Can’t wait till Riverbank Costco opens. Parking lot set up like a child set it up. Needs more entrances and exits . Especially the sisk road side needs opening. As big as Modesto is the need Costco also in ceres elevate the traffic and people!

My girl and I share a Costco account. She didn't have her card with her so I let her use mine. They gave her a hard time and almost didn't let her purchase the items she went to get. I understand that there is theft, but give me a break. She was just trying to purchase some items. Why hassle her over this. I really don't like shopping at Costco they are way too controlling and not friendly or helpful whatsoever. They treat us like we are thieves all the time!!!

⚜️This Costco here really has everything on Stock and I mean everything by the wholesale they don’t play around I mean this guys here work unanimously it’s pretty awesome to watch the Costco employees work. it’s as if watching a movie everyone knows where they belong.👍⚜️⚜️Costco Here in Modesto, to begin it has plenty of parking lot, and a gas Station with 16 Pumps. As you come up on to the side of the Building you will find a Tire Replacement Shop Fully equipped. Inside this Costco, you will find anything you need⚜️⚜️Easy access to Handicap RampsI strongly recommend coming to this Costco and get to Stock up on some food and other things

Costco is great, but you have to go at the right time, otherwise it’s a madhouse with all the people in the building at the same time. Save your big trips for off-hours, or you’re gonna feel rushed the entire time.

Love this place! Buy in bulk and the variety of their merchandise is extensive. Their grocery department is phenomenal. The groceries are not standard, a large portion are uncommon, yet exceptional. They carry nearly everything for your personal self, your cat and dog, and your home. Quality items! Great prices!

I will say this about Costco, if nothing else. Whenever you buy a car battery, you’ll never have to buy another. I love their warranty, and their return/refund policies. They are second to none.

Their flowers bouquets are always so big and beautiful, transferred them to a vase and they turned out even better. I would clean off the stems before transferring them.

I like this Costco. I usually come early in the morning on a Saturday less people here, and I usually use the self checkout. But when I buy heavy things water drinks etc. They usually help you to Scan the products. However I did speak to one of the Managers because there's a worker named Joey I believe he is usually at the line for self checkout. When he asked for my Costco card with a picture. I told him that is me. He responded that's what they all say.. He made me feel like I was a liar. I have been a member at Costco even before the Modesto Costco was open. Since 1987 so to treat a member that way is not good! I went back to Costco today and the same person treated me nicely, Yes he did ask for the Costco card again but he was very nice. Thank you ☺️

Received a vaccine from the pharmacy. Remy was fantastic, along with the rest of the staff. Remy also generously researched a couple of vaccine questions I asked, unrelated to the current immunization.

I absolutely love Costco. I like the Kirkland brand. I like the items they offer wether name brands or their brand. I love the return policy. I have not been happy with a few purchased items and it was easy to get a refund. I once got a microwavable dinner item that my family nor I enjoyed. I took the empty packaging and my receipt and was given a refund. They stand by the products they sell and guarantee if you're not satisfied you will get a refund. Although for computers make sure you read the fine print. It is also very convenient to have a pharmacy, optometry bakery, and snack bar in store. I also love the new self check out. It's fast and convenient. I love checking out quickly especially when I'm in a hurry. It's great that there is alwaus someone there to help.My only complaints would be that they need to bring the photo department back. I also wish they'd carry the bottles of Peanut Butter Screwball again!!

This is my local Costco which I don't go to anymore. I drive down to Turlock. There's a better class of people working there. I swear, the rudeness of the workers at Modesto Costco, they profile.

Their bakery is the second best in Modesto after MatKat at the farmers market. Excellent selection of breads, A++ baguettes, their walnut raisin bread is delicious. Their bagels are also the best in the area (Posh Bagels on McHenry sells play-doh tasting squishy bread), and you can’t beat their roasted chicken although double-check because it might be undercooked on occasion. Best to finish off at home in a 500 degree oven for 25 minutes and baste with some spicy BBQ sauce. Their pizza would be a lot better if they stopped using that terrible dense, sweet and overpowering sauce.Customer service is excellent but if they get too busy it’s hard to find an employee to help out (when you do though they are always professional and polite).

For the most part Costco has good prices. I have found several times but I found better prices elsewhere especially in food items. The staff there is fantastic and wonderful. I do however go there for certain items only and if I'm looking for something and it's not there I don't go looking around the store I'll just go somewhere else. They tend to not keep things in the same spot I know this is because of advertising from the suppliers, but it is very nerve-wracking to look for something where it's supposed to be and it's all the way on the other side of the store. It increases travel throughout the store which could expose you to more people. If you were able to just go in by what you need and then leave it would be much safer. I do like shopping here because it's friendly and medications are very cheap. I would suggest using the GoodRx card. Buying Staples there can be a little bit nerve-racking such as toilet paper and paper towels because of supply chains but the prices are good and if they have them I'll buy them. Fortunately water tissue paper and paper towels are always in the same location. but then again like I said I only shop there for certain items I know I can get at a good price. But the staff is again great. Lines are moving faster in the food court

As with everything else the cost has gone up and the quality has gone down. Rotisserie chicken was raw. The pie was under cooked. Very few toys this year. Way too many books and piles of overpriced clothes. A real bummer.
