I have one of the pickiest dogs imaginable when it comes to food, I have been buying her fresh pet because she will not eat regular healthy dog kibble. Well over the years it has made my dog sick and not want to eat, I went into caldrons pets choice and talk to Ellen about everything going on and she took care of me and my princess Bella. Ellen found a safer and healthier wet food and believe it or not even a dry kibble my Bella will eat and loves very much. I am so grateful for Ellen she has taken so much stress and anxiety off of me and my fur baby. Thank You Ellen You Are AMAZING!!!!

I love this place and come here often. They have a great selection of daily pet care needs. My dog is obsessed with bully sticks. They carry sticks that are at least 3 feet long. Whenever I give one to my dog, she gets so excited that she wiggles her whole back end, and has to show off the bully sticks to everyone in the house! This is the only place I've found that carries them that long.

Small, clean, and friendly. They have a knowledgeable staff and a little bit of something for every pet's diet, but not enough room for a variety of choices. Live pets include a few birds, and tropical and saltwater fish.

Absolutely adore this pet store. Small hole in the wall with amazing costumer service. Adopted two rats from here, they are healthy and social when I met them.Update: adopted a kitty from here. I absolutely adore the staff. Rats are still happy healthy and social. Kitty cat Mochi(formerly ash) is so amazing

4 Stars only because I've not made a purchase yet. I'll update you when that happens. But I can say the staff is absolutely wonderful! They are knowledgeable, friendly, caring, and welcoming! Though, the selection I shop for is slim, it's enough. They even asked me if I would like to place special order!

I was here a few days ago to purchase Rawz cat food. I believe this is one of two stores in Modesto that carry this brand. As I was walking into the store one of the employees who was loading items onto a hand truck greeted me. It made me feel welcomed since most places don't bother to acknowledge your presence. They have a wide variety of products to choose from. The store was clean and it was easy to find what I needed.

Love supporting local shops and this was an excellent pet store! They had large cat litter boxes that I was looking for and a wide selection of litter, food, toys, and cat care items. The staff was extremely friendly as well - they even gave me a sample of one of their cat treats for free! I will definitely be returning!

Each time I entered this locally owned business I was welcome and helped when I asked. Always the best products for the necessary price. My cat food was sold out for weeks at Raley's. Found the only accepted food here. Every time in 5 years I solved my pet issues here. Like this review it's genuine

Awesome service. Staff is well educated on their many products and all the animals they sell. They have tons of special stuff you can't get anywhere else in town and they are a far cry from those corporate pet stores that all sell the same things. They have many different kinds of cat/dog foods for all types of dietary needs. They even have a dog wash area. Highly recommend! A hidden gem in Modesto.

Great customer service, the ladies in there are super helpful and you can tell they truly care about animals. Also, they have some of the highest quality of food that you can find for your pets there. Definitely my go-to spot from now on. Highly recommended!

The employees and staff are really sweet. I come for fish and aquarium items, they don't have the largest selection of live fish but what they have seems pretty healthy. They have a mix of salt and freshwater as well as a large selection of driftwood. They also have a big selection of reptile, bird and dog/cat food and care items.

Great selection of supplies and amazing staff. The prices are also great. IMO don't go to petco. Stop supporting corporate companies. We need to bring these types of business back. They actually care about their customers

A lovely and clean place to get your dog food! The associate was very nice and very helpful asking if I needed assistance with a 15lb bag. I would 100% come back again because compared to Petco (who also has my dog's food) it was better in every way

The worse experience and this is my second time going to this store and asking to use the bathroom and they telling me that they do not have a bathroom. the worth thing is that I suffer from incontinence and I will pee in my underwear if Indo not get to the bathroom on time. and I humilistef myv self and told her that I have this condition and she said with a sarcastic smileboh so sorry and procide to tell me that I can use the next store bathroom, I was so stupid and I purchase almost 100 dollar worth of goods, the last time I spend almosn 200 and rhey did the same thing and when I when to the next door store and told them that the pet shop said I can use their bathroom, they told me that they were going have to talk to them because I was the 3th person that day that came to use the bathroom. At least they had the decensy to let me use the bathroom. If I vould sue them I would do it.
