Very clean store, all staff are tentative and friendly. Variety of merchandise for anyone. Restrooms are clean and fully functional. There is plenty of parking available, even curbside! I recommend signing up for the rewards program.

Wow!! Great job here by Tabitha!! She greeted everyone who entered the store!!! She ways able to find my BIG lots membership for points. (yahoo). She made sure to promote the American heart assoc. donation program. BIG lots you have a wonderful employee there!! OH I also got my wife a lovely pair of slippers!!

Very helpful associates. Clean store. Not too crowded. Lots of items in this store compare to other Big Lots. Great sales!!! School supplies for my kids that I needed. Plus desk for my kids to do there school work at home during the Covid-19/stay at home for school.

Even though they were pretty busy we were able to get help and ask questions about a potential purchase. The young lady who helped us in the furniture dept was really nice. Maybe Santa will bring this to our house this year 😁

I love getting the cereal 🥣 there when it's discounted down because of the way of the box smash or whatever it's still good. Like the 🎥 movies to get for my children or nephew.

Did not see any sales people while I was there. At the check stand a employee asked the cashier where the supervisor was because she hadn't seen her in a couple hours. When I paid for my purchase the cashier just gave me my change and did not count it back to me. I counted it in from of him and told him it should be counted back to customer. I paid with a $100 bill and my purchase was $43 and change. He said oh sorry.I go to Big Lots pretty often and this is the 1st time this has happen. Could be a training issue?

The store was clean and organized well. They have a lot of nice furniture for good prices. I felt like a lot of items could have been cheaper, but there makeup is priced pretty low. The employees were nice and helpful as well.

I can give Big Lots a 5 star review because you get alot of bang for the buck. Every time I walk into that store I feel I get great savings on the items I purchase. Vitamins, makeup.household items.Pretty much everything .

Awesome deals...just bought Papa Bear "Dearfoams" Slippers for $13.00 and 50% off of 2nd pair ($6.50) Mama Bear Slippers just in time for Christmas! - same pair at Amazon for $28.00 -- I'm always finding great deals like this at Big Lots, even more as a rewards member, Happy Christmas Shopping everyone...Happy Holidays...!!!

I went in for the bamboo cotton tipped ear swabs and left with snacks, sisal twine, toys, hair accessories, and face masks! They have great deals and always have new items coming in. Plus, their rewards program provides great benefits to it's members; sign up is quick and easy.

We love big lots. Everyone there is super nice and eager to help. There prices are always great and the quality just seems to be getting better and better. Our local big lots here in Modesto off of Pelandale is the best. The manager there is really friendly and takes care of us each time we are there. 100% to those guys..

Went to Big Lots in Modesto, California. We found shelfing paper and a note book. We stood inline along time to check out . The checker upfront finally made a request for another cashier. One of the items we purchased were wrong in their system which took longer to check out. The notebooks were .50 cents, in the system they were a dollar. The cashier had to call a manager. The store was clean with lots of product's. Just be care to watch the prices when you check out.

Could have been a t star review. But, One employee told me you didnt sell an item that was was clearly marked with BIG LOTS logo. I believe better training is needed or update thier knowledge on products sold there

Steve & Louise were awesome. They helped us with everything despite only having 3 employees available on Memorial weekend. Ty for all you guys did. We are grateful. They were running on steam and needed their breaks. I wish I could of helped. Still with no break in such good spirits and working so hard.

Helpful & friendly staff. Seasonal merchandise moves very quickly before season even ends! Always find something at a great price, but not always the same thing. It's an adventure & in Modesto's heat, a/c is always a good thing.

Had a chance to purchase items at this store tonight with my wife. Staff especially Cindy were very warm and welcoming. We enjoyed splurging and my wife really wished big lots were as awesome as this one from where we are from (Sacramento)

We like this Big Lots alot. The bathroom is always clean and OPEN. They have a variety of items you can shop for here. There is furniture, snack foods, candy, baking products, toys, games, toddler furniture, bedding, home supplies, cleaning products and much, much more. My family really likes the customer service here.

Worst big lots everI was at their front door at 9 p.m. right when they closed with a heater in my hand and a receipt. I need to exchange the heater because it stopped working at 8:50 PM. I got here as quick as I could. The cashier saw me and made eye contact and the fat b**** just walked to the back.

Big Lots is a great discount retailer store. They have a huge selection of snacks, drinks and other things. The furniture department is massive and a lot of people take advantage of their cheap prices, yet good quality products.The one big thing I despise about this Big Lots is the store manager. He doesn't like to smile and is rude whenever I see him. Other than that,most of the other employees are nice.

The Modesto Big Lots on Sisk Rd. always seems to have a much wider assortment of holiday decorations and gift ideas than the Manteca location. As well as easier access and ample parking. Unfortunately that usually means I spend more. I was able to finish my holiday shopping though..Score!

Patricia was great! She quickly found the item I was looking for, rang me up for the item, and then even helped me load it into my car. I was in and out in less than 15 minutes! They need to hire more employees like Patricia!
