We stayed a few days in Miranda while visiting the redwood parks. Miranda Market had most everything we needed for meals. Although, we did take most of our groceries for our trip with us. Miranda Market came in clutch for a quick breakfast with their breakfast tacos and sandwiches. We also purchased chips and drinks. I will say, it can be a bit pricier than going grocery shopping at a grocery store in your home town. But that was to be expected considering their location being far from a big town. Overall, the prices were expected and the variety was more than I could ask for. The restrooms were clean, the store was organized, prices were well marked and the staff were all very helpful and kind.

We stopped for gas, and used the restrooms which were clean. Seems like a nice neighborly store. They were selling baked goods out front to support the highschool

Unfortunately, this is really the only market in town. With a limited variety of items and mostly overpriced. We (my family) would normally drive about 35-50 miles to a larger town, so as to stock up on all vitally necessary groceries. That's the only way you can save $$$ a ton of money around here. And everyone knows it, so they charge extra, but they won't admit it.Fortunately, there are some awesome restaurants in the area and local wineries that, will actually help you save money. However, be extremely wise, and shop intelligently. 💜💙💜🤙

Nicely balanced country store/market that wasn't touristy. Deli fresh potatoes salad with delicious sandwiches, items for vehicles and common things everyone needs. And...charging stations (in the middle of nowhere!!!

This review is for the sweet lady at the counter. Thank you for helping me pick a face shield for my bike ride.

Fine if you just want to pick up a quick snack (over $5 it seems) coming off of the highway, but the customer service seems to be lacking. The store clerk we had was very standoffish (the others were nowhere to be seen by the time we got to the checkout), and she walked away as we approached the checkout. She didn’t bother to make eye contact, not entirely sure what the problem was.

These guys have the best wings I've found in southern Humboldt! Super friendly and helpful staff. Nice selection of grocery items, and better gas prices than the next closest gas stations, generally at least 10 cents cheaper.

The grocery and gas prices are reasonable, and the staff are some of the kindest people I've ever met.

A lifesaver when you go through the Avenue of the Giants in the off season where all the restaurants are closed. They have a deli where we got a chicken salad salad sandwich and a tuna sandwich — both were really good! Got those and a few other essentials for a lovely picnic. Staff were kind and helpful. Clean and nice bathrooms too!

Friendly staff and one of the few places to get gas and food on Avenue of the Giants. Good selection of snacks, drinks and if you need food they have a hot section and a deli that puts out a great custom sandwich.

Their wood bundles are massive and came out to about $14, it contained a great assortment of wood and kindling, and included a small "crackling log" which took us by surprise when it started snap crackle and popping in the campfire, (as we didn't know it was a crackling log until we threw it in the fire)!Inventory is adequate, this is a small town market, but they do well with what they carry. Prices are a bit steep, but i am realizing that groceries are expensive everywhere these days. They have gas pumps, and are installing an electric car charging station. There's also a deli, with very decent food offerings, and great grab and go warm breakfast selections. The bell of the ball is their public restroom, it was so clean and nice, loved using the restroom before heading to camp. Also, the staff is super friendly, I genuinely enjoyed speaking with them with my daily visit during my stay in the Redwoods.

Pump wouldn't pump first time and cloces transaction. Tried again, pumped less than one gallon and shut off again. It would be nice if gas pumps worked at gas stations.

Very clean and well stocked small grocery with a surprising variety of items and public restrooms. Prices are a bit high, but it's a very small town far from supply areas. Friendly staff went out of their way to be helpful to me. Also has gas station. Next door are two restaurants and a candy/ice cream shop as well.If this information was useful I would appreciate a quick like or follow. Thank you!

LOVE this store. Smells like maple syrup. Super clean. Nicest bathrooms I've found on my way up and down the coast. Friendly staff. Don't have enough good things to say. Definitely pop in and pick up some snacks 😊

Nice clean store with a deli inside. They cover your most basic needs including a gas station. Staff are friendly and courteous. A little overpriced but to be expepected in any small rural resort town. This one is on the Ave of the Giants which is a plus. I highly recommend just to stop and grab some snacks to stop and visit the redwood groves.

Nice big convenience store/gas station. Only thing that sucks is that every place with hot food up here seems to close early. Their deli was closed by 6ish but they have a wide variety of goods so that makes up for it. The employees are also very nice.

Very cute little place with a great place to stop and eat. We were visiting the redwoods and stopped for lunch to go. My husband got the calzone and it was delicious! I ordered the philly cheese steak and it was the best. Prices are really good and the salads are awesome!

We’ve stopped just to refill, but bbq smell convinced us to eat there. What a great lunch was it, the size and taste of the burger were well beyond my expectations! Staff is kind and helpful, tiulets in very good shape. Highly recommended.

Fine for a local market that has snacks for visiting the Redwoods. They don't do cash back, but there is an ATM. Had a gas station and a lower level parking lot so we didn't have to scrape or super-hitch bike rack to get up the entrance.

Great store has most every thing . One problem I’ve noticed is the mask required rule without a mask to offer. They sell masks cheap at Costco why not have one to offer to the customers who forgot theirs and are there to spend money at your establishment ? It would be easier on the employees as well not having to argue with people about this just offer a free mask and move on and take their money it’s that easy

I have been going to this market for years, and they are amazing!the bathrooms are always clean, they will order products that you want stocked if you ask, they have a pretty large selection of items for the size of the store, and the pricing is COMPETITIVE. I dont care what anyone else's review says, I have check the prices at safeway in fortuna and they actually beat them on most items. Most of these reviews must be comparing to Grocery outlet or Winco which are the cheapest grocery stores in all of Humboldt, and only have lower pricing because they are gigantic chain stores (not to mention the time and money cost of driving an hour just to get there). The fruit and vegetables are always fresh and local with pricing good enough for me to completely stop buying from anyone else. They stay open later than any other business in SoHum, (other than the bars lol) the staff are always friendly and hustle to get you in and out. The hot cabinet full of fresh made food and the deli are so handy! I just love it here, and hope more people will recognize the value in supporting this local business.

Solid produce selection and groceries in general. Had hoped there would be more Miranda themed/labelled gifts/souvenirs but didn't see any aside from a cooler bag. Maybe a little higher prices than elsewhere, but such a good variety of items.

Perfect place for a pit stop along the way if you're headed to or from the Redwoods. They have a deli counter with friendly staff that will whip up a sandwich while you finish getting groceries or other road trip supplies. They have a large parking lot area with more than a few gas pumps to make your stop a breeze.

Taking into consideration how It's in the middle of nowhere, as well as comparing it to the other store in the middle of nowhere, most stuff is reasonably priced. I loved the fruit wraps for 59 cents each. 7 of their 8 flavors were really good, one was sour apple I think :( anyways the even have a modest amount of things I would eat, being health minded as well as vegan. Reasonable prices on most items, some are overpriced though.

The Miranda Market right outside the famous Humboldt Redwood Park in Northern California. It is a small grocery store in Miranda, California. It has a deli sandwich shop inside the store. It also provides a gas station and propane services. It has fresh produce and it is very clean and well taken care of. It does not accept EBT cards. But does accept most debit and credit cards.

Small but usually fresh produce selection, decent beer choices, functional deli (it's good and freshly stocked but could be amazing!). RV parking, gas, diesel, propane, ice, tobacco, beer, wine...small sampling of hard liquor.
