We had a great time visiting this place for lunch, we ordered veg pizza, cheese pizza, chicken sandwich, pasta and veggie mushroom burger. All items are excellent we also had soup of the day tomato and basil soup, it was very tasty. Service was excellent. I was happy to find a nicecafe with good food in aarea with limited placesto eat and stopped inthree times for dinner.The cafe specializes in pizzaand calzones with a menuthat includes burgers, pasta,sandwiches, soup, andsalad.I reviewed the menu andselected spaghetti withtwo meatballs, and ablueberry smoothie.The meatballs were aseparate charge at $5.50for each one.It took over twenty minutesfor my order to arrive ona busy Monday.The spaghetti and meatballs had good taste and were not overcooked, with a saucethat was flavorful.I returned the next nightand had a Bigfoot JuniorBurger with bacon, pulledpork, and a one-third poundpatty.The burger has a nice flavorwith the combination ofthe meats.The food is a little expensiveand the meatballs were aseparate charge.Located on the Avenue ofthe Giants in Miranda witha statue of Bigfoot in front.A nice place to stop for abite to eat with friendlyservice, good food, anda fun atmosphere with aBigfoot theme.

I love this place, the food is great, the service is always on point, inside and outside seating. If you have a dog you can sit outside with your pup. I'm local and most the time order to go but the food is always good and they always get my extra requests. Love the pizzas, calzones, turkey pesto sandwich, Bigfoot fries and so much more. I'll have to update when I take some more photos. Foods almost always ready within 30 minutes or less depending on what you're ordering.

Family owned restaurant. The husband was so cool. We came in and he was throwing pizza dough. We asked for some of the dishes they recommended and everything they recommend was awesome.The tuna melt, the pizza it was all great. Pizza crust was really good. I was very surprised to find such good food around here.Overall the people were just so friendly we sat at the bar and enjoyed talking to the locals.

We had lunch at the Avenue Cafe' on a weekday in June 2023. You could sit inside or outside. Unfortunately when we arrived, the outside area was full. So we didn't get to choose.We ordered sandwiches and a drink. The food came out fairly quickly. But I do question the brand of deli meat used. It wasn't bad, but wasn't all that good either. Now I don't want to insinuate that the food isn't good. Only that we didn't really like our sandwiches all that much. Yes we ate them.I want to think had we ordered something else, we might have been a little more impressed. But unfortunately, we both ordered the same thing. The cafe did have a great atmosphere and music that we enjoyed. So for the most part, we really enjoyed our lunch. Just not the lunch part so much.

The food was good, but the service was REALLY SLOW. They came fast to take our drink and main order. We weren't ready to order our main food yet, so we got drinks and am appetizer the waiter recommended. It was 30 minutes or more before he came back with the appetizer and to take our order. I would understand if they were really busy but it wasn't that busy and the waiter didn't check in on us or apologize for the wait during this time.

The avenue cafe is a highly recommended destination from locals and tourists alike! A hidden treasure amongst the redwoods with delicious food and the friendliest staff. They have amazing gluten free and dairy free options and a little something for everyone. Amazing place. The homemade pizzas are delicious, with light and crusty dough and tasty toppings. There's a lot of choice too. The atmosphere is very warm and friendly, with good music. There's a good kids menu that's better and more varied than in other places (cheese ravioli with marinara sauce).Kid-friendliness: Good and varied kids menu (including cheese ravioli with marinara sauce). The kids can color thir menu with crayons. Very relaxed place. There's a patio and the kids can play nearby.

What a nice find in a sleepy little village. Perfectly located when doing an Avenue of the Giants tour! I had a veggie sandwich with fries and the other meal was an impossible burger with onion rings. The sandwich was great with lots of veggies and goat cheese. The bread was advertised as multigrain, but I was given whole wheat. The fries were okay, I don't prefer the prebattered ones. The onion rings were juicy. The ambience was neat. Very small seating area, so it was pretty full, even at 2 pm! I would recommend.

Actually a really nice place to eat they take pride in their food You can tell everything on the pizza is fresh in house.. If you're out here in the middle of nowhere, then you want a good place to stop and get some food. That's actually reasonably priced come here.. Their burgers are even bought from a local farm. Everything is local and fresh. So yes, come eatget your glutton on.And bad place to have a beer.. Even if you're out there and it says it's 20 or 30 minutes away. It's worth the drive the food quality is worth it

Great food, great atmosphere, and friendly service. We were staying in the area during a drive from Ohio to Washington, so making food choices felt sketchy.They fit right in with the scenery; as a tourist, I got a kick out of that! We're glad we made the right choice and hope to find them on another vacation.

Crowded on Sunday night. Server was really busy, not too friendly and it took 35 minutes to get soup and salad. I ordered the shrimp: tasty but a few medium/small shrimp. i got those right away. i asked the waitress to forget the soup and salad, but she got them to me right away. i gave her a 15% tip, but that was a gift. if ylu like pizza and large calzones this is the place for you. the calzone looked like it had massive amounts of cheese. NO PUBLIC WIFI AND CELL RECEPTION POOR.

Excellent service and wonderful food! Great prices for the huge portions and very delicious. Closes about 8pm. Had the spinach manicotti (be sure to let them know if you're vegetarian), which was excellent, and came with a nice and very large starter salad. Also has beer and wine, but soda is served in cans. Much better prices than the Redwood Palace restaurant next to it. Two doors down is a grocery store and gas station as well.If this information was helpful, I would appreciate a quick like or follow. 5 stars for the food! Everything we had was great! Our family had the french dip and loved it. Their fries are pretty good. We had their turkey melt and their alfredo calzone. The Turkey melt was fantastic, crisp with delicious grilled green peppers which were a perfect addition. The calzone dough was amazing. The inside was pretty good, Alfredl sauce could have been better. They lost a star for service. Their bar tender was talking to her friend and the server was sitting down and eating cookies instead of giving us our food which was sitting, ready, for 10 minutes before we asked what was going on, a total of 30 minutes to get our food. That is why we will not be returning for breakfast in the morning. The guy making the food was also not wearing gloves. He was the only one working though
