Amazing food and an amazing host! Fresh cut fries and veggies on everything. The only place near sequoia open till late so we got lucky but would love to just come back and spend some time and have a quick bite while enjoying the atmosphere!!Vegetarian options: Good vegetarian options

Pretty cool relaxed joint for strong drinks and solid food. The guy behind the bar was cool and gave us info on the area. The waitresses were super sweet and accommodated changes to the menu. Had the Buffalo chicken sandwich and a BLT and we enjoyedboth. It was built in 1909 and still has a lot of the original structure; a great watering hole for locals and visitors alike.

The owners of Pinehurst Lodge are incredible! Originally from San Diego Jay and Linda create a welcoming environment inside this century old landmark. The locals are kind and friendly, who treat tourists with kindness and act as unofficial mountain/area guides. I highly recommend the Jalapeño burger, with its hand cut French fries. Just the right amount of spice and heat from the peppers, combined with a soft and cooling aioli. My personal favorite dish here though, I’d actually a side of Linda “Homemade” salsa. Of which she will personally prepare for you upon request. The Grill also serves the community as a Hip Camp offering spaces that can accommodate RVs, as well as tents. They have a fantastically “hot” outdoor shower on premise. And two canine residents Holiday and Cisco.

We were staying at an Airbnb close this restaurant. There are not a lot of options in Miramonte for food, but this place didn’t disappoint us.They had vegetarian options- a veggie patty and an impossible patty for burgers. The burger came with fries on side while the grilled cheese came with chips. The chips were oily, next time I would ask them to be substituted with fries.It wasn’t too busy on the Saturday evening we visited but they were probably short staffed, only one person looking after the whole restaurant and bar, so it took quite sometime for our order to come. The place has a lot of seating areas and a pool table

Went here on a whim after a short hike at Kings Canyon. The place has a lot of character, channeling saloon vibes very well and feeling like a neighborhood hangout. They have an eclectic mix of offerings including karaoke, a pool table, horseshoes, a patio, and multiple indoor rooms for hanging out. The bartender told us about the new owners; the husband has a band, Good Ol’ Boyz, and the wife is very involved in developing the property; there is now a general store, cabins and an Airbnb. They also carry local wines and beers, a pretty full bar, and food service. We had the onion rings and they were excellent. There aren’t many other places nearby, so I highly recommend stopping in for a drink or to just hangout.

We recently stopped by the Pinehurst Lodge restaurant during a visit to Kings Canyon National Park and had a couple nice burgers here. Opening hours 12-9pm daily.This is a western saloon type place with nice atmosphere, friendly service and pretty good burgers. Menu has a few other items like salads, wraps and others but mostly this is a burger place.Patties were grilled well, toppings fresh and buns just fine. Served with onion rings and fries, these burgers were pretty good and reasonably priced. They have a fair enough drink menu as well. We enjoyed Sierra Nevada Stout and Torpedo with our burgers, preferring the stout.Overall, the Pinehurst Lodge was a good meal, a nice change of pace from eating a couple meals in the national park. We'd stop here another round if driving through the area.

I had the most incredible experience here a few weeks ago! The bartended/owner was super inviting, informative, and sweet! The atmosphere was amazing, cute, classy, and rustic, which I loved! My grilled chicken sandwich was cooked to perfection, very juicy, flavorful and their house made sauce was to die for!!! I am so glad I had the opportunity to experience this wonderful establishment and will be going back very soon! So much fun!

I came here while visiting my friend for the weekend. This place was great! They had a wide selection of local beers and bar staples. Our bartender, Linda, was so sweet and gave great recommendations. We got some bar food also, which all of their sauces are made in house. We tried the fries, onion rings, mozzarella sticks, chicken tenders, and jalapeno poppers. All were crispy and well seasoned. The whole place is full of character, with shelves holding old rusty beer cans and pictures of the place when it first opened. They have a little dog house in the back for one of the local dogs too! They had karaoke night that time too and they have a huge screen so you can sing from anywhere. Definitely gonna hit this place up again next time I'm in town. Thanks for the great time Linda!

Nothing fancy but the owner clearly takes high food quality seriously. We were very surprised to find this gem of a restaurant. The fries are fresh cut, the burgers are not frozen. We had the Cesar salad, jalapeños burger and grilled chicken sandwich (with an extra chicken breast added) and the sweet and spicy hot wings. Everything was delicious. Not a single complaint. 100% recommend.

Outstanding eclectic old Saloon. Bartender was so welcoming as I walked in. She makes a mad margarita! Highly recommend the margarita. I was eying the fries and chips - both of which are homemade from the many many reviews I had read online. I couldn't decide on which one so I asked for both! The salt and flavor was incredible on both. I enjoyed both chips and fries along with my Jalapeño Burger which was fresh and flavorful. The Chipotle sauce added an extra kick and flavor along with the burger. Very pleased and content with my dinner. A must visit! What a cool place! Next trip I'll be back again.

We found this historic location on our weekend drive up the mountains. Wendy was super sweet and helpful and definitely welcomed us for the day. It was raining so we had the whole place to ourselves. We played pool, darts, hung out in front of the fireplace and enjoyed our 🌮 😋 Definitely worth visiting if you're in the area.

My husband and I were staying across the street the week of their soft reopening. We loved this place! Linda the owner is very friendly and is working hard to provide a great place to gather, eat and drink. But there is something about the atmosphere that is conducive to making new friends and feeling at home. The menu was limited when we were there but what we had was truly delicious! And Linda makes a mean lemon drop martini!

Hidden gem! Stumbled upon while staying down the road while checking out the parks. Food is extremely fresh and delicious. Beef is fresh daily, sauces are homemade, fries are handcut daily. Burgers, chicken wings, and tacos were wonderful. The owners are very friendly and hard working. Will definitely be back.

Food and drinks were good. It's more of a bar atmosphere (nothing wrong with that) but we opted to take our food back to our AirBnB and enjoy the dinner there. The ambiance there seemed of a small hometown with many other tourist visitors. The staff was VERY friendly and welcoming.

Good food, good service, the place is in a beautiful mountain community. Everybody I met up there, were good friendly people
