Been coming to MVC since early 2000. The care they show and knowledge they have for my fur kids is simply the very best. I love the family feeling I get when we go and the gentle touch they have for those tough decision times when have had to let go of our babies. They have welcomes in new lives with our kids as well as helped to make their last day easier. They have saved 2 of my pooches from certain death (one had eaten a foot off a stuffed toy...it lodged in the small hook of his stomach (hard to find area) and the other pooch at birth with a hard to diagnose, rare case of worms, in his lungs).Their prices are reasonable and let's face it no one likes paying for medical cost let alone vet cost, but the service and follow up service they give it over the top. You do get a lot more than your actually paying for with the care they give YOU & YOUR fur kids...it may be a tad of a drive from Redding, but I promise it is so worth it. We truly will go no where else.I have tried a couple other vet clinics, locally, and there is no way I will go anywhere else. Thank you for the past 17 years of taking care of my fur family! We switched to Millville from Asher several years ago and have been very pleased. The staff are always friendly and helpful, and treat our pets well. This last weekend we unfortunately had to put one of our dogs down. Dr. Tangeman and the tech were very compassionate the entire visit. Dr. Tangeman gave our dog an exam and explained what she felt was wrong and gave different options we could explore. She was honest about the prognosis and helped us make the difficult choice. They were very gentle with our dog the entire time right until he passed. They made every effort to make him comfortable which meant the world to me. I have heard from others I know that experiences at other vets can be traumatic, but this was as painless as I imagine the process could be. Thank you Millville team for making this heart wrenching process the best it could be. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because the front office staff were not very engaged. They were not rude or anything, but aside from a check-in they would not say hello or acknowledge anyone in the lobby while we waited, but the other staff would say hi or good afternoon when walking by.

Took my dog there who is a stray rescue and they were just super amazing caring people that ate fairly priced compared to other vets near redding, they took great care of my dog and when we left they gave me a bunch of very useful information as well and some other things like a tick remover tool which also contained info on ticks to! Highly recommend this vet!

The front desk ladies are busy bodies that rather gossip about customers than do their jobs. Openly talking about personal matters where other customers could hear them. Very unprofessional this isn’t the 1st time I noticed it. If I had other options for care I would definitely take my pets elsewhere

Dr Tracie Beiter is a great old school amazing vet and person!! She has cared for our Giant Schnoole litters for several years. We've definately learned alot and had excellant care! Highly recommend Dr Beiter!

Everyone was happy and obviously loved their job. That says everything about a vet clinic. If Everyone is happy and comfortable, your animals will be more at ease and have a less stressful experience. I'm definitely going to take all my animals here for now on.

We had an emergency with our dog and they were able to get him in the same day. All the staff from the receptionist to the medical personnel were very friendly. Tests were ran and meds were given that day. Unfortunely we had to make the hard decision to have our 15 yr old cocker spaniel put to sleep a few weeks later. This was a very hard decision for us. The staff again were extremely understanding and friendly. They allowed us to be with Toby and made it as easy as possible. The vet tech reassured us we were doing the best thing for our much beloved family member and she understood it was a hard decision to make. We can't tell you how much we appreciated this vet office. Thank you so much for giving us a chance to say goodbye in a loving and comfortable way.

We have been with this practice for over 40 years yet they deny us emergency care when jts absolutely needed. Not once but several times. They won't fill a chewy prescription because they want you to purchase from them which I've done for a year. As a family we are DONE.

My cat is very antisocial. Lays in bed all day! He doesn't visit with my kids or parents. I brought him in for a checkup after 10 years never leaving home and thought he'd lose his mind. He was screaming on the way but the staff was very friendly and my kitty didn't freak out with them! I'll be returning if we have any more pet problems.

Very friendly service. Although there was a mix up about our dogs vaccinations. They called left message that she needed one more before we could board her there. My wife called because we were told she had all shots. Girl said she was OK on shots.? No big deal.

Only 10 minutes out of town which was closer than I thought. The $ was about 75% of what I’d been charged at other clinics for the same procedure.This was the best Vet I’ve been to. It was clean, pleasant & and their staff had COMPASSION I’ve not seen at other clinics.On top of that, a very knowledgeable Veterinarian.

Went here because of their ability to do laser treatment for my dog's joints. That is going well, and I'm happy. Not so excited for when they looked at the issue with her paw. They gave some antibiotics and told me to soak it. ZERO improvement. If I wanted to have her see the vet again they would charge me for another full price visit. Her regular vet VCA in Anderson doesn't do that... they see things thru and don't charge additional office visits for an issue not resolved so I will stick with them for regular vet visits.Also, staff won't tell you of they are running behind when you call to check in... so if your waiting outside in the car in the heat wondering what's going on and ask the next tech that comes out, be prepared that they may snap at you for asking. Hey Millville, just tell people if your running behind... don't make us wonder and just sit there until your ready. And definitely don't send staff out to snap at a customer for asking what's going on.If anywhere else had the laser treatment I'd likely switch vets.

We have been using Millville Vet for about 7 years. We absolutely love Dr. P, we used to absolutely love the service we received. The love and compassion they showed our pets was above and beyond. We drive 20 minutes each way just to use their facility. Since Covid their customer service has extremely declined. All the familiar faces are no longer there. We have 130 pound bull mastiff who is the sweetest girl you’ve ever met in your life and has never showed aggression to a human. She does not like small dogs so for that reason we do not bring her into the lobby and we use a side door. Last week we got in with a vet we have never seen before and had the worst experience ever.My husband brought our sweet girl in for an ear infection. Never once did the vet walk in and introduced herself to my husband or our dog. From the minute she walked in my husband said she was nervous and told my husband to leash our dog, which he did. She never came across the room she instantly said the dog needed to be muzzled. Our dog has never been muzzled. Nor was our dog showing the slightest bit of aggression. The vet tech then put a muzzle on our dog. When the vet walked over she instantly cinched down the muzzle extremely tight causing my dog to flail around. Then refused to treat her unless she was sedated. From the moment this woman walked into the room she showed no love or compassion to my dog from the beginning. She came in fearful and nervous. Our dog is our baby and has been going to Millville since she was 9 weeks old. The staff had always loved on her. This experience ruined the way we feel.I’m not saying that my reaction was appropriate… I’m sure I could’ve used better choice of words but when my passive husband told me what happened I was so disappointed that I called and voiced that. I was told that their safety was priority over my feelings. I do not invalidate peoples safety but this woman never even tried to get to know my dog. She saw an exterior note that said use caution and instantly act like We have an aggressive killer. That caution note is only a note regarding to caution that she does not like little dogs.I had thought that we found our forever vet and I’m sad that is not the case. Before I always recommended Millville and now I would not.
