I recently took my cat, Nimbus, to Fur Cat's Sake for grooming, and the experience was absolutely fantastic. Irene, the groomer, was not only amazing at her job but also incredibly calming and informative. From the moment we arrived, Irene's soothing presence made Nimbus feel at ease. She shared valuable information and tips, making the process not only enjoyable for Nimbus but also educational for me. What impressed me the most was Irene's ability to keep Nimbus calm and actually enjoy the grooming session. The booking process was easy and efficient, adding to the overall positive experience. I highly recommend Fur Cat's Sake, and I'm grateful to Irene for her expertise and genuine care. It was a stress-free and informative experience that left both me and Nimbus delighted.

I have nothing by the highest praise for Irene and her team at Fur Cat's Sake. The atmosphere is so calming for cats and the grooming process is done with patience and gentleness. Both times we went to Irene for our Siberan kitty, she took incredible care of her and paid close attention to details, beyond the aesthetics and including our pet's overall health and wellbeing. At our most recent visit, Irene noticed a drop in our cat's weight and encouraged us to bring her in to the vet to check on that. Had we not gone to the vet the next day, we would not have known our cat was experiencing sudden, acute kidney failure or been able to make her last days with us more comfortable. Irene's keen eye and genuine care for our animal provided us with the tools we needed to care for our cat's last days with us that we would not have had otherwise. I highly recommend this cat grooming business.

I had meant to post this the very day we visited Fur Cat's Sake but things happened so forgive the delay. My wife and Sylvester moved from SF to the East Bay in the spring. It was time for Sylvester to get a mani/pedi and a bath. Unfortunately, due to both COVID and the economy, it would appear groomers in the East Bay that advertise they do cats - don't anymore. So we found Fur Cat's Sake, and are so very happy we did. Suffice it to say, the staff are top notch and facilities are extraordinary. They rival those of a spa I'd patronize for myself. Thank you for taking care of Sylvester!

Irene is the best!!! I brought my super sweet elderly calico in... For the past couple of years cleaning herself has become more difficult with her long hair and all. Well, she really matted up this winter and i wasn't sure how traumatic a shave would be, so i waited til now. My cat was 75% covered in matted hair. I booked a 2 hour session with Irene, who is so kind and precious. She gently removed the matting. Explained to me how i can do it myself. My cat is so happy! I had no idea how painful it was for her to be matted. She is like a new kitten.Irene is located across from the cat clinic and if you have a cat... This is where you take them to be groomed!! Thank you Irene!! :-)

I couldn't imagine a better place to take my three persians for their regular brushing, cleaning, and coat maintenance. Irene is incredibly attuned to the cats she has in her care, and treats them as individuals. It's evident that she loves what she does and takes great care to make the owners and cats feel at ease. I 100% recommend Fur Cats Sake to anyone with a kitty that needs coat upkeep.

Wonderful cat groomer. She's amazing. We took Muffin in for the 4th time and he always looks terrific. Can't say how much we appreciate her care of him. He always acts like a kitten when he gets home. He appreciates her grooming also. Highly recommend her if your car needs grooming. Wouldn't ever go anywhere else.

I have a sweet but a set in her ways type of kitty. Her name is Camille but everyone calls her mom. Cats meow is the only, and I do mean only grooming spa for mom. Everyone is so patient and kind. Grooming cats is not easy but Irene is fantastic. Trust me on this one. Cats meow is the best.

I had the greatest time browsing through this delightful shop especially designed to cater to the specific needs and little whisker desires of our feline friends (& family) . There were all manner of great gift idea's for cat lovers and special foods meant to improve our kitties health and well being .Everything in this shop is well stocked with research having been done to ensure higher quality than you would find in your regular grocer and even some pet stores. This is an excellently run shop with a truly devoted shop owner, Irene leija. All you have to do is ask and she's on it. A wonderful coming of age place for pampering our sweetheart felines, you must check it out.

I consider my son an extension of myself. So I don't mind doing whatever it takes to ensure he gets nothing but the best. Fur Cat's Sake not only achieved this but has given me a peace of mind that shows me they care and treasure him as much as I do. Definitely recommend!
