Prices feel high but this is the first PetSmart I've ever been to. The selection is a little bit over the top as well. I was just looking for cat food but I have to figure out if it's organic or nutritious or for cats who are old or young or... Anyway the store was clean. The people were helpful and I was in and out quickly.

I have always loved PetSmart, so I was very glad to find one in this neighborhood when I moved here. The staff here is very friendly and customer service is great.When my cat passed away and I had to return excess (unopened) litter box accessories that I bought online, even though my order date was just passed the return date limit, after explaining my situation to the manager, he went out of his way to process the return at the end that was still within store policy.I especially love the cat adoptions area in the store, and that they work with Merced Humane Society to have cats available for people to adopt, as well as dogs available for adoption during special adoption events, which happen pretty often.

I like this pet smart, first time I used them, I order online, and had my girls stuff delivered to my doorstep. Honey, my girl liked all the products I bought from them. Second time I drove there to pick up a few more items for her, the employees there are really nice, and helpful.

I have been taking my dog to this PetSmart for a little over a year I never ever had a problem untill the last time I came in and today. The last time I came I noticed the girl that would cut her hair didn’t work there anymore so I let whoever cut her hair the girl did an ok job but I let it go I figured it was her first time, then I take her again to the same girl and the girl calls me telling me she couldn’t finish the job because my dog didn’t let her and that she wasn’t following protocol because she was trying to get the job done which i feel like she should had just never tried if she felt like my dog didn’t like her or called me to go pick her up. So when I go get her my dog is half shaved she looks horrible and I still paid full price on everything. I understand my dog wasn’t letting herself but like I said I’ve never had issues before only with this girl. It was actually EMBARRASSING leaving the store like that she should had just called me if she knew my dog wasn’t going to let herself. Never going back there again.

Called while out on vacation to see about getting my 2 pups bathed and groomed . I have never used Pet Smart for grooming before. They took them both in the next day and did an absolutely wonderful job on both pups!!!!Thank you so much!

This store is disgusting. It smells bad, the cages were filthy and the overall appearance and feel of the store was dirty, dingy and sad. The only thing that seemed taken care of were the cats that are available for adoption. (The absolute ONLY reason I continued to enter the store.) PLEASE don't bother to shop at this store unless you are looking to save an animal by either purchase or adoption. Otherwise I'd HIGHLY recommend PetCo in Atwater!!!!

Very helpful staff. Got our tetra fishes and set up the aquarium which came out nice. We got everything we need for our fishes, including for our kids gold fishes.

Another great experience. Took my Toby to get a hair cut and came our looking snazy as always. Everyone I came across either greeted me out load or with a smile. Will be coming back for all my pet supplies needs.

They are normally very nice and helpful at this Petmsart. There's one guy who I think is the manager or something who can be sassy, but he's always helpful too so no complaints. I just wish everything wasn't so expensive! But I'm just poor :( Have not experienced their grooming or training programs, but have heard good things.

I just think that the grooming team are the best! I've been taking my dog Daisy there for years. Damion is such an understanding and kind groomer, my dog actually gets excited to go see him at PetSmart!

Dog Nails to be Trimmed. I called and Amber was polite and pleasant and said come now… II got there in 15 minutes and our dog was taken real quick. The gal was caring as we watch thru the glass. 17$ was reasonable compared to others.Got a 20% off the next visit

I recently went through a long and tedious move and my boy Duncan started looking a bit rough around the edges but Vanessa G. had him looking his very best by the time we picked him up. I have so much gratitude in my heart for the patience and thorough work she did. It is honestly the best groom he has ever received. I am so thankful and will definitely have her groom my sweet boy again.

Pet smart in Merced is a good place to shop. Prices are kinda high but service is great and there is always something new and interesting to see for our pets. Wish they did grooming for cats without needing proof of vaccination.

This is a nice PetSmart. It’s located in a decent area, easy to get to and enough parking. It is a decently sized store as well. They have a grooming station for pets. They also have cats displayed for adoption, which it seems like people do adopt.
