First off I’ve been to this foodmax plenty of times but this time was the one to leave a review .. I came with my family and my mother to do groceries and Lisa shouldn’t be working behind the counter she’s rude and snatches money from the hand of customers. She escalated a situation that didn’t need to be escalated. Look at your cameras and you can see the money snatching and her throwing the yogurt wrapper to us sayinf throw your trash when she had a trash can right there . It is your job do better while working with customer service.

To the young lady with the red hair. Didn’t catch her name but she was running the self check outs. Thank for buying the rolls for us that was a very nice gesture from you! I had left them behind because I didn’t have enough so then I seen her purchasing the item!! Forever grateful 💜

Stopped by for some bell peppers and omg they were the size of tomatillo, for 79. eachStore is fully stocked,. But because everything's so expensive.. trying to post a picture

Everything seems costly. My cart needed to retire. Rolling headache and sticky handle. Gross LolAlso, when I opened cooler to grab orange juice, the floor inside cooler was disgusting. Reading other reviews about rats!? Wth?

Nice grocery store to go to when you’re in the budget since prices are bit affordable. Got variety of other food at times but I understand so as long they got items I like, I’m satisfied. The waiting lines are bit hassle when you have less items and don’t like using self-checkout. I do like they have coupons to use at back of their receipt and survey but is it worth 5%? 🤔 since there’s pandemic going on, they should setup sanitation for customers and have disposable wipes for carts for efficiency. I do like there’s option to bring your own bag cause got full collection of bags have to keep buying so I don’t mind if have to bag it myself.

Love the produce...usually at this store. They hired a lot of new employees and they are not friendly. Whoever decided it was a good idea to sell this rotisserie chicken should not have a job.

This is a great place for groceries. The only thing I would strongly request is to keep halal meats, halal chickens as well. This will bring more customers and would help larger community. I would like to invite my friends and colleagues who are looking for halal foods.

Great setup. Good variety. Average prices. I don't like having to bag my own groceries, but just because I'm slow at it and feel like I am slowing down other shoppers. And this place does make you bag your own groceries.

This is a grocery store like every other food max. The place is clean and well stocked and was not very busy at noon on a Friday. Selection is good prices are good. Not sure there's anything else to say.

I know more than 1600 people reviewed this store. I’m the person shopping from here since more than 10 years. I had no complain till yesterday, but today I truly had bad experience at this store. Cashier “Lisa”, time: 7.34 pm, date: 01/20/2023, Store 487, Address: 1300 West Olive Avenue. Just the cashier on the register behaved so rude. She told me go home watch the mirror see your face, how ugly I am?? She yelled me to store the cart on right place while I was purchasing. I still politely asked do I really have to drag the cart. But she got more angry & yelling at me go home! See my face??? What kind of behavior is this?? Do we people buy things to get customer service like this? I also contacted with the manager face to face, but he didn’t take it so deep, & said sorry but the cashier didn’t seem like minding about this topic.

Budget Friendly lots of options for vegetables and you can find some common Indian grocery stuffs too..decent collections of alcohols and if you are a fan of 'the therapist beer' sometime you can find that too..overall a good place to shop..

Today at 7.00 pm I went to this store with my husband for some groceries. While we're on the register for purchasing the cashier lady Lisa yelled at my husband to store the cart on right place! it seemed like we're her maids. She doesn't have any rights to act like these. When my husband politely asked does he really have to put the cart on right place, the she got more angry & yelling like go home! see your face how ugly he is! She was acting so racist. She needs to learn proper customer service. Also we talked to the manager, but he didn't seem like minding this business. Looks like we went to flea market. Very poor service. Shopping here since 10 years. Will never visit this store again!

Me and my husband went shopping there to get a few things to barbecue. Went to the meat department to pick up a whole chicken to throw on the Grill. when we got home we opened it up it smelled so bad it was bad horrible smell.We had to throw it away we couldn't take it back cause we live too far.

This store feels dirty; the floors in the entrance is a big turn off and the carts are also. Cart cleaning options are not always available, and trash is often sprawled. The lines get backed up and the walk way gets congested. Isles are cramped and lighting not so good. Item availability isn't the best, service is not so good. There are only few good employees I've interacted with who stand out. Not so tidy here. The lay out is awful. The one time my child and I used the restroom it was seemingly clean enough but there was no soap, good thing I always carry sanitizer.

Love that they have everything I need when it comes to groceries. Fruits and vegetables are on the left of the entrance. They have great prices. Also, I love that they have self checkout as well.

I love this store, but today, Laura at checkout stand #3 seemed rude for the first time and told me to use the button to move my items down the belt even though I was almost done bagging them. Soon as I stepped closer to the button she quickly put up a chain to keep me from getting “out of bounds”. There was a customer bagging items as well and a group of three employees standing nearby talking as this happened and I felt embarrassed.

I always thought FoodMaxx was a little expensive. Everything's not expensive. I went to Food 4 Less the other day and I'll never go back in there again it was outrageous. So I guess FoodMaxx is my new grocery store

Good prices. Wide aisles. But here’s the thing: the staff come in to flavors, so nice that you just feel like you should never leave and so nasty you wish you hadn’t come. I guess you have to take the good in the bed together. A female manager at the service desk was so rude today that I asked her why she was being nasty. She felt she had been very service oriented. Fact that she can’t even see how rude she is tells me more than I really wanna know. However, on many other occasions I’ve met people who bend over backwards.
