Visiting from Maryland. Best jerky I’ve ever had and worth the drive. Sweet and Spicy was my favorite. There is local dried fruit and other items available in the store as well.Update 5/5/23: Was in the area again and had to stop by for a few pounds of the good stuff. They have a few new flavors…I love the Buffalo Chicken!They ship now so now the 3000 mile commute isn’t necessary!

In the end, even a humble store becomes greedy. From $35 a lb of jerky, to $50. It's alright, you've already built a loyal customer base. Why wouldn't they stop buying your jerky? Perfect time to take advantage of them, especially since the price of beef per lb went back down since the pandemic. No reason to lower your price again. Just raise it.Do what you want with your business, but I will always call out a business that takes advantage of their loyal customers. Sad.

If you haven’t already tried the jerky I would hit the breaks and stop here! It’s pricey but they put love into their jerky. It’s not the flavors but the taste of quality.

Love this place. The antiques everywhere, friendly employers, best jerkey in the I.E. always stop here before heading up the mountain.. and to top it off they always know the fishing report and sell fishing/hunting licenses.

Greenspot was the first store I ever went in. I was pushed in by my mom in a stroller and years after, it would be the spot to get snacks with my brothers and neighborhood friends. My first experience trying jerky and no jerky has ever measured up to Greenspot in the last decade and a half since I've been there. It seems to be the only corner of my world that is frozen in time as it looks exactly as I remember it. I hope it continues to remain as an artifact standing the test of time as it will always have a special place in my soul.

Cool little convince store on the way to forest falls, but the best part of the place is there fresh made beef jerky. I drive up here all the time just to buy it. They have a bunch of different flavors to choose from. Worth the drive out and the purchase

Best beef jerky ever!! REALLY though! They always have different flavors. They also carry stuff you may have forgot to pack for a trip up the mountain or to the lake. Yo0u can also find local honey, sage and other items here. Don't let the outside scare you, it's just a very old building that still has the original wood floor (for the most part).

I absolutely love this market: it has the best jerky in the Inland Empire.. since the day I found this market (7yrs ago) I have been making a stop as I drive up the mountain.. great customer service and they always make great jerky recommendations.. along with great jerky they have a selection of cream sodas that I love: I make it my goal to drink a different one each time.. everything is delicious 🤤 and unique experience.. hidden away so don’t pass it up..

Of course, great beef jerky... But also a great selection of booze, and common everyday goods. The staff are usually very friendly and quick. It's the last stop for snacks (basically) on your way up to Big Bear. This stores got some history as well...stop in and find out!

Best beef jerky ever. I like stopping on my way to Forrest Falls but i make the drive just simply for the jerky now and oranges i love their oranges too. High quality delicious jerky and oranges. And people working are great kind individuals just the best place wish it was closer to my home

Absolute BEST beef jerky I've ever had!!! We got the brisket ave the cowboy!! Cowboy is the old fashion kind my father would always get as hasn't changed at all since I was 5 and would go with him. Brisket is So tantalizing, juicy and soft. It melts in your mouth Yummy! And just a note thus market has been at this location 100 years plus!!! Definitly pleading customers for a very long time. FYI this is the last stop for Ice etc before going up the mountain👍

This is a cool spot right off the road. Its old, but it has things you would want or need, plus the beef jerky is by far our favorite! We by it by the pound. They are open later which makes this market convenient. It's one of the last spots to hit before heading on the jeep trails.

Whether you're headed up or down the mountain, or live near by (it's also worth a drive), I definitely recommend stopping in. It brings you back to a simpler time.If you like beef jerky, this is your place. They have some of the freshest and flavorful jerky around.

I've had beef jerky from a lot of places but up until this week, I had never tried it from here. I must say, hands down some of the best jerky I've had in some time. I'd gladly pay that price for a lb of their beef jerky. If really is famous in this area. I wish they could vacuum seal it with a food saver instead of just a paper bag.

This is such an awesome place to visit, especially if you are wanting great beef jerky. They have T-shirts and hats with the locals decals on them for a great price. Pretty much everything and anything you need is there. They sell snow chains in the winter as well as sleds, gloves, hats, etc. You can also buy your State Park passes as well as your fishing license here. It's a very down to earth store with lots of history attached to it! Look for local fruit and vegetables at certain times of the year.
