I, we my grandson and I went to Petco looking for Dragon rock, couple live fish, crickets for the gecko and ants and snacks for the dogs. They the staff are SUPER helpful and we got a huge $25 discount off the tab! Ample parking and just all around organized store.

I was able to work with the manager on a price match. She was very nice and helpful. Also the girl stocking shelves helped me pick out a collar and sized it for my dog.

My Cane Corso was groomed at Petco for the first time and the associate Michelle was so kind, knowledgeable and helpful to me and my family since I had no clue what to expect. Hailee was nervous 😬 but Michelle took very good care of her and I have to say she did a great 😊 job on my little girl, thank you ☺️ Michelle for taking care of my little princess 👑

Having been a customer at multiple petcos, it became abundantly clear that this location was the one I felt most confident going to as the employees are knowledgeable, caring, and considerate. The advice and insight they offer is more often than not rooted in personal experience and a holistic/thorough understanding of the subject matter whatever that may be. The thing that truly sets this petco apart for me as well is the way they will go the extra mile for you. For instance, the associate that aided me, Winter, helped make my Bioactive terrarium build go from an overwhelming/stressful endeavor to a truly exciting and pleasant experience and I absolutely could not have been happier with the outcome. Alongside individuals like Winter, the other kind workers have been nothing but great helping me with understanding which live plants would fit best and proper feeding practices to ensure my pets quality of life is second to none. 10/10(Completed build photo attached)

Shopping for terrarium supplies I loved the service I was a bit nervous around the open bin of live cricket we all laughed about it while I crept away...spent $100 easy, could've gotten supplies across the parking lot at Lowes for cheaper but I had fun!

We love going here. The animals are so sweet! We do wish they knew more about the animals, though. We got a new hamster, and they could only tell us she was under a year old. Seeing as they only live about 2-3 years, we would have liked to know her age, but....my daughter fell in love with her so it didn't really matter in the end!

I went to get my new puppy nails clipped. She suggested that we file them down so I went with that. Everybody was super nice. Very friendly and my dog didn't bark one time and seems super comfortable.

There was urine at practically every post and corner just in puddles all over the store . So unsafe for children and pets. Our dog kept wanting to go and sniff the urine. We had to keep telling her to stay away from it. Totally disgusting and very unhealthy.

Petco is just awesome! They helped me adopt a kitty i named brie a few days ago. Thanks to petco and there team, Brie now has a forever home and family. We all love her so much she is the sweetest, they even helped fine some sales on food and litter( didnt need cause i already have cats) but it was very thoughtful and i took full advantage over the sales

STRICTLY SELF GROOMING REVIEWThe self grooming station is not cleaned between customers, the shampoo is so diluted it doesn't clean your dog, the tube are too wide so you have to lean far bending over (I was sore after 15 minutes of washing), the blow dryer airflow is weak and is cold, and the brush they have me had black mold on it🤢I was there for my shepherd. Her hair with a human dryer takes 30-40 minutes max to dry. It took me 2 hours of constant brushing and blowing. She was still wet and I gave up. The dryer was worse than a handheld one, on the lowest setting, in cold shot mode. While I was there 4 smaller dogs with shedding hair came. No one took the hair out of the drain so customers complained out loud but, not to associates. I cleaned up 1/2 a trashcan of wet and dry hair.I suggest keeping this store to shopping and drop off grooming/vet only.Staff was very friendly.

Extremely knowledgeable staff at this Petco. If you have any questions about a specific animal speak with Debbie. She goes out of her way to ensure you have all the information you need and all your questions are answered. Special shout outs to Cindy and Winter (Might have been spelt with a y, I’m so sorry I can’t remember now). All of these employees go above and beyond for the customer and most importantly the animal.Thanks to these amazing people we were able to welcome our new addition Jellybean (pictured below). We’re extremely excited to start this new adventure with Jelllyyyyyy, and we’re happy to have such an amazing Petco team near us to help support us. Every single employee we talked to today during our 3 hour visit meeting and getting to know Jelly asked us to update them on his progress as he grew. (We’re assuming he’s male based on behavior, he hasn’t been blood tested yet). Jelly is settling into his new environment, slowly and cautiously. Tomorrow is a new day and I’m so excited to get to wake up to Jelly thanks to our local pet co, specifically Debbie, Cindy, and Winter (Wynter?). We honestly can’t thank you all enough.Petco also price matches their online prices and has their vital care plans which help you save money on your everyday pet needs. Who wouldn’t pay 19.00 a month for $15 dollars in coupons each month on-top of the 10% and 20% coupons that plan gives you access too. When times are hard and prices seem to be rising all around us, it’s nice that a company gives you the opportunity to save.

I used their new self wash pet bathing area. It's clean and they have everything you need to bathe your pup. My poodle mix takes a long time to dry and the attendant encouraged us to use two dryers (great idea). After his bath he got to pick a tray and toy. I'll be back again. This makes giving my dog a bath (between grooming) so easy.

The people at this store absolutely refused to help me. I know it was 10 minutes to close when i came in looking for an albino Cory and an amono shrimp that the Petsmart across the street didn't have. All the tanks were dark and I couldn't see if they had any. When I asked at the register for help she said she would get someone over there but then came over about a minute later and said they couldn't because there were only 2 people working there and I should come back the following day. They were still open for 5 more minutes and she couldn't even look to see if there were any. Petcos services have been steadily declining for years but as someone who has worked in retail for 20 years, 6 of them at Petco, they are no longer worth going to. Very sad

Hi, this is our Pride and Joy, Loni...Loni, is an Afghan Hound, which translates, to Alot, of Hair, long Beautiful hair, that needs alot of attention, so my favorite place to take her, to achieve.."The Look", is our Petco, in Menifee..Our Groomer, is Vicki, and very educated, in the Afghan coat, and personality. I tell, her what I want, and like magic, she makes it happen, plus Loni, likes her, which makes it easier..If you are looking for an experienced groomer, I suggest Petco....Thanks Vic..

DO NOT BUY FISH FROM THEM .The fish tank water is not healthy at all .I bought koi fish and they were infected and the bacteria from their tank killed my fish which I had for last 4 years they tried to blamed it at my water but NO is their water.Lesson learned. On top of that management so unprofessional. When I ask for manager she didn’t even bother to come and talk to me.So disappointed I’ve been a customer for more than a decade. No more shopping at Petco. How they treat their fish tanks show me how much animal’s life matters to them.
