They have green canister propane and paper towel at reasonable prices when their open. I went in afternoon and they were open. Sign on door says they will be their when they want to.

We love Skip's! Always a good price. Always a good selection of everything you might need while doing the primitive camping at Corvina Beach at the Salton Sea. And always great service! We count on Skip's when we are here and they've never left us disappointed.

This place is awesome , we came through on our way driving around the Salton sea and stopped here before Corvina beach campground to get some drinks for the walk around out there. The store was not that run down at all to me and had plenty of room to navigate inside , the place was clean , organized and they carry some other misc items along with food and drinks. The owner was very nice and seemed very down to earth she had a little dog in a bed behind the counter which we found really cool and also packed a piece on her side (looked to be a 9mm) so don't be a thieving rat (it's not that hard). She also had a sign that we found awesome "due to the increasing price of ammunition do not expect any warning shots" but as I said earlier in the review she was super cool and down to earth , we will be returning to visit the banana museum and and check out the Salton sea visitor center down the road.

I absolutely LOVE this little store. The owner was so sweet. She taught us a bit about the history of Bombay Beach. Stop in and say hi to her if you visit!

If you are a convenience store, it's quite inconvenient to not have a restroom. I would like to have bought lots ot stuff, but I don't patronize these places out of principle

‘Last chance’ type store for beer, other beverages and an array of groceries and sundries. If you are southbound you will likely blow right by it, luckily there are a couple abandoned businesses next door and the parking lots are connected so you can swerve into one of those.

Skips carries absolutely everything you need for camping if you are anywhere on the Salton Sea and need to stock up before you head into the Badlands this is a good place

In the middle of the desert you will find Skips Swamp Cooler with the "coldest" beers and soft drinks in town. Straight up!
