I used to recommend this pharmacy but the last year there have been lots of mistakes with my prescriptions and the customer service has become very poor so I’m switching to another pharmacy.There have been many mistakes but this week alone I’ve had to call them eight times because of mistakes they’ve made on three different medications that I’ve been taking on the same schedule for years. They blamed the doctor and my insurance but after bouncing between calls with the doctor’s office, my insurance, and Rite Aid they all turned out to be the pharmacy’s mistakes.The most egregious mistake is probably when they gave me someone else’s prescription last year. It’d be one thing if they were helpful or kind on the phone when dealing with the mistakes they made but they‘ve been rude and unwilling to respond to basic questions about the situation. They repeatedly give unsolicited medical advice that goes against my doctor and neurologist’s treatment plan. It feels like a case of pharmacists wishing they were doctors.

Pharmacist Kylie and employee Casey are absolutely the best two people I have ever had the privilege to work with. They are professional, knowledgeable and show empathy. They work extremely hard, going the extra mile, to be sure my medication is filled, and showing me kindness and empathy.They are a definite asset to Rite Aid Pharmacy.

I called for a prescription. They said the drug might be out of stock, but that they could fill it the next day. So, the next day I called in the morning to see if it was ready. First, the automated system hung up on me three times. Finally, it did answer and connected me to the pharmacy. No answer from the pharmacy after three more tries. So, I tried calling the main store. Again, no answer. Finally, I gave up and had to have the prescription filled elsewhere. It's not even clear if the store is even open for business at this point.

I use their Pharmacy and sometimes shop for things there. Most of the people at the Pharmacy are nice to me. They do fill you your medication up pretty quickly and do delivery on most medication. But, the thing I like to do is to look at the makeup selection! I think they have a good collection.

Not sure what's up here buy for the second time I was put on hold for over 20 minutes. So I drive down there and look and there is no one in line at all and everyone behind the glass was just laughing and hatting. They just forgot about me.

Nice store with good selection they tend to have good deals on items. Their pharmacy is pretty small but it seems like it's pretty busy ( I don't use their pharmacy except for when we were getting the covid vaccine) I like when they have a variety of plants outside during the spring and summer months. They also have a decent amount garden supplies inside. It's one of the few stores that still has a section of books. It's the only place in McKinleyville besides Blake's Books that I can find books from my favorite author!

The guy that answers phone calls at this pharmacy, Rob, is extremely rude and impatient. You could ask one of the simplest questions and he will give back such a rude and short answer. The people that are physically in the pharmacy are good.

It has been a rough day. Needed to make a quick stop to pick up a few things and this store was great. Got everything that I needed easily. At the register, Kimberly was so friendly and helpful. She turned my day around. I look forward to going in again.

I’m going here because Cloney’s closed down. The cashier was very unprofessional.I was inquiring as to why my insurance didn’t cover the medication and the customer next to me started having a conversation with my cashier regarding my medication. Ever heard of HIPAA laws? How about you don’t talk about my medications and insurance coverages to the customer next to me.Rite Aid needs to move the two cash registers farther apart and train their employees to HIPAA privacy laws.

good store, and merchandise. the cashiers are good, except that there’s this one pharmacy technician in the pharmacy who is seriously, SO RUDE. I don’t recall her name, but I can tell who she is by her bad demeanor, it’s even obvious that she hates her job. she doesn’t even take the second to wish you a good day and gives you attitude, aside from her dry, monotone voice. I don’t even want to call the pharmacy to ask for my prescriptions because I don’t want to deal with this lady. one time she told me my prescription was ready and it wasn’t even ready. can’t believe Rite Aide would hire a lady with such attitude. what a shame, rite aide.

OK, I've read the reviews and as it appears I'm not alone ! I left this pharmacy because of the Pharmacy Tech that was so incredibly rude, breaching my confidentiality in a loud voice, purposefully to a long line of customers ! I left and went to Cloney's after complaining to the Pharmacist, who saw the incident, concurred with my findings, apologized and asked me not to leave! I had a Witness with me throughout this entire incident. Well, Cloney's has now closed and as of now I'm returning to Rite Aid. Let it be known, as a retired nurse, if this occurs again I will file formal charges.

The whole pharmacy department needs to be retrained or get trained in the first place because I have dealt with so many mistakes on their behalf. They also fail to be consistent in both their communication with insurance companies and us consumers. Worst, most rude pharm techs ever. Pharmacist Candie so rude for absolutely no reason. Had to inform as loudlyas possible that one of ny medications would not be covered because I am on state of California insurance. Never utilized a pharmacy that has asked when do you want to pick your prescriptions up. The Pharmacist should be filling as they come in. Came back to pick up medications and decided to say something to the store manager she was speechless at first. Then accused me of lying.

It depends on what you want. The photo section is horrible if you have an I device. Easy to spend money on stuff. Cosmetics, cotton balls, coffee....AND indeed the people are super nice. They often recommend cvs but I still haven’t gone. Overall 2 stars

The pharmacy mixed up seizure medications with a blood pressure medication. Brushed it off as just putting it in the wrong bottle. Not filling prescriptions here any longer. Check your prescriptions carefully.
