I went in last week looking to replace my refrigerator. The refrigeration had stopped working, but the freezer was still working. I was ready to purchase a new refrigerator, and almost had one picked out. I was telling Andrew my situation. He said that should be an easy fix actually. He told me to unplug it for 48 hours. Fingers crossed, we unplugged it and waited. We waited 24 hours after plugging it back in to see if the temp stayed at refrigeration levels. It did! I was so impressed with Andrews integrity. He could have continued to sell me a refrigerator, but he helped us instead! We’ve bought a couple appliances from here, but now we’re definitely loyal customers!! Thank you, Andrew!!

I’m very happy with my entire experience with NorthCoast Appliance from my messages with Jessica to my in store experience with Josh and then with Corey and the other young man who delivered set up and did a walk thru of my new washer and Dryer, then they hauled off my old Monster stacked unit . I feel bad about this review after reading all of the great reviews, I guess maybe I was just a one-off. A little over three weeks ago I bought a microwave and ordered a gas range. The range was supposed to be in between 2 - 3 weeks. After 3 weeks of no contact, I called 2 days ago. They said they would check with supplier and call me back. No call-back. I went in today and they had no information, apparently hadn't even called the supplier. I told them to forget it. I'm mostly upset that they strung me along with no contact, that I had to drive to McKinleyville from Eureka just to find out that they just blew me off.Business must be good to not even care enough about a $2500. sale to follow through even minimally. Oh yeah, the microwave works great though.

I purchased a washer, drier, and fridge from North Coast Appliance. They delivered everything promptly and professionally, and the installation was great. Walking into this store is a dream, their customer service is great, and there is never any pressure or feeling like they are trying to upsell you. One of their salespeople actually talked me into a less expensive, more reasonable refrigerator, which was the right choice and has worked out great. I can not recommend this business enough!

This is usually my go to store to purchase parts as well as appliances for clients. However, recently it seems like I have not been getting the same quality of service. Very disheartening when I am forced to call other appliance stores to resolve simple issues that they have helped me with in the past.

Late Saturday afternoon, and we started a load of clothes in the washing machine, and it wouldn’t drain… Not a good sign….I called North Coast appliance and spoke with Josh. Despite it being close to closing time, he took the time to explain some things I should check before resigning to schedule the service call.He explained their rates for repairs, and covered what the likely problem was, and what it would probably cost.Customer service was A+, and everything was exactly as Josh said it would be. Definitely earned my trust and I hope to not need them again, but if I have a problem, I’m confident they would take great care of me again!!

If you need service or repairs of your appliances, you need go no further. Competent, friendly and they stand behind their work. Rates are very reasonable and their technicians know their stuff. I haven’t purchased an appliance from them yet but, because of the excellent service they have given me, I plan to shop there when I do need to replace an appliance.

I called them out to check on my washer, they let me know it was on its last leg, they said I could go to the showroom and see what they had available I was looking for a used toploader. Now the one they sold me started to leak . They said not to worry come back down and we'll take care of you and they sure did!!! These guys are awesome! Josh the owner is very professional and knows his industry well. I was pleased to discover they had truly competitive pricing considering they’re a small store. They were prompt in correspondence, exact and their delivery, and installation was very concise. I discovered after they finished installing that the polite and efficient young man he had working for him was actually his son. They had such a good working dynamic I was really impressed. Great experience from the beginning! The store was really nice and clean, customer service was awesome, I double checked prices and they were right on.... Another local popular company I checked into definitely charges way more. I totally recommend North Coast Appliance and I will be back when my other appliances start giving out. Something that might not mean anything to anyone else, but the delivery guys loved my dog and were dog people and that was a huge bonus for me!!

I was nervous about buying a large appliance. I have bought a few over my years but Jessica made it so comfortable. It was worth paying more. The best part was the delivery. I have had delivery drivers make the delivery hell. But Jason and Evan were the best ever. Made every penny worth it. Plus the feeling of shopping locally, makes my heart sing. Big showroom full of many top brands, including high-end and even nostalgic!All the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. And pushy sales talk. They offer first class service as well.It's great to finally see some competition in the appliances market here in town. I just called to see what it would cost to get my Samsung dryer repaired. I spoke with a technician and he told me to check my fuse box. Evidently there is a fuse to run the dryer mechanism and another to run the heating element. Sure enough, the fuse was popped! I am nearly in tears with relief. I had just spent an hour on the phone with Samsung dealing with the warranty and in less than 5 minutes on the phone with NC Appliance I am back up and running! They will have ALL my future appliance business!

My wife and I just had a great experience working with North Coast Appliance. The freezer in our refrigerator stopped working. I called and spoke with Jessica. I found out that she and her husband Josh had opened their business in the Mckinleyville Shopping Center in February. She informed me that they would not be able to come out for a week because of the service backlog they had. She suggested another company that might be able to help us. It turned out their schedule was similar so I called Jessica back. I ended up talking to Josh about our 23 year old unit. Bottom line is we decided to buy a new refrigerator. They were incredibly helpful over the phone and on-line to pick a new machine. They did tell us that there was a world wide shortage of new appliances and the machine we wanted would take a couple of months. Their solution to this was to loan us a refrigerator. The next day their son Evan and another young guy named Jason delivered the loaner unit and took away our old one. I was so impressed with both Evan and Jason. Impressed enough to call Jessica to let her know how well Evan and Jason represented their company. They were incredibly polite, respectful, and engaging. Both of them were interested in our home and gardens. I also found out that we had a common thread with our love of water sports. Bottom line it was so fortunate to find North Coast Appliance and get to see first hand their level of high quality care and service . My wife and i would highly recommend this amazing family owned business.to anyone looking to repair or replace appliances.

The North Coast Appliance staff were really knowledgeable and helpful. They listened to what we were looking for in a refrigerator and talked us through the various options. They didn't try and upsell us. Their delivery and install is cheaper than other competitors. We will definitely be looking at North Coast Appliance next time we need another appliance :)We live in Eureka and are lazy about driving but it was worth it to drive to McKinleyville because they were helpful over the phone, and then in the showroom and we were able to see one of the refrigerators. All the store staff were wearing masks and it felt very safe during covid. There was also an air purifier running.Really great experience with all the North Coast Appliance staff on the phone, in the store, and with the installation at our house. It's definitely worth looking into them, I know there are other competitors locally that are also good but make sure to check them out too. All the local places were busy and doing their best, and when we ended up going with North Coast Appliance they added us to the delivery schedule for that afternoon since we had no working refrigerator. That was really appreciated because it was pretty much a mess realizing our refrigerator was broken, getting a repair person (everyone's busy and booked out), buying ice bags for the fridge trying to salvage some of the food, finding out it's unrepairable, and then having to buy a new one. So it was a relief to get everything wrapped up that day when we thought it might take a few more days 😅

These guys provide excellent customer service! We purchased a new stove/oven from them (we're in Bayside by the way), and my wife recently had an accident spilling some grease out of the oven and then slipping/falling on the oven door. As a result the door hinges got damaged and the oven door wouldn't stay closed. The range was still under warranty--but they told us it sometimes takes several weeks to get the replacement parts. They came out the same day with a replacement oven door they had on-hand and installed it. Good as new. Thanks guys!
