A bit over priced but for the literal middle of practically nowhere it's reasonable enough and the friendly, helpful and courteous staff make up for everything else. Smiles and salutations go a long way these days when they are not found many places.

Murphy's Market is a popular place to shop. It smells like a bakery when you walk in, also has a fragrance of barbecuing. Just depends upon what day you enter....today I shopped for several fruit and veggies, and a great tomato plant. The clerk was very friendly and made it easy for a bit of small talk. Shopping is great here!!!

Great deli and store. The employee working the deli counter was wonderful and she made us smile with her great personality. I really will be making this my go to stop anytime I travel east on the 299 as it is a great spot to fuel up on tasty treats for that long drive. Great assortment of groceries and lots of local offerings!

Great selection for such a hometown grocery. The hours are so vast you really couldn’t miss out on shopping needs. They have a great selection of beer and wine and a few odds and ends so you don’t have to run to town. 10/10

Great selection of organic food. Loved the music they had playing on the speaker system. Not that elevator stuff. The staff were friendly and genuinely kind. For a small market, they have a large variety of products. Pleasant visit. They did have a run on their signature organic ice cream so there wasn't much left. They did have Umqua ice cream though.

Murphy's Glendale is my favorite grocery store. The people are always friendly. The place is clean and always well stocked. My local fix for fried food when I'm feeling lazy and not wanting to cook. Pretty good organic vegetable selection. Always some ice cream on sale.

Great mom and pop grocery store near homes a little further out... Have the basics and other helpful items, cleaning supplies, frozen dinners, cheeses meats and the deli, as well as, snacks, produce, and lots of drinks and rare soda brands. They also have fresh breads and liquor/beer options in a wide variety! Great little have it all in small amounts kind of one stop mom n pop shop! Love it!

Murphy's is always kind always helpful the people that work that are great prices are a little more on top end but what can you expect for a store in the mountains and meats are better than most of anywhere else (except for the Murphy's on myrtle avenue) and that's only because they're right next to redwood meats LOL 😂😂

A great all around small local chain market. Deli, gluten free choices, organic choices. Each market caters to the tastes of the neighborhood it's in. The deli makes good sandwiches for a very fair price. Order your sandwich as you like it. I like the Mendo sweet hot mustard on mine every time!

Great b place just a little bit expensive but what do you expect when they are the only market around for like 10 plus miles. They do have a decent deli though but upwards of 9 bucks for a regular size cold sandwich WOW I just couldn't bring myself to buy..but other tasty hot food there is not as expensive.

There is virtually any regular food item available here, including ice. The staff is very friendly and helpful, prices are fair! I love the vine!

For such a small market by comparing it's size to others , it carries a better variety of products than the big supermarkets. All of the shelves are neat and tidy. It's also convenient.

The classic local grocer in Northern Humboldt. Nice (and usually cute) staff and good choices. Not the cheapest, but way better than Safeway.

Pretty nice people who work there they have a good selection of wine you have a nice little Deli and even if coffee area with full coffee service Mike is the owner there the only thing I have bad to say about them is that they laid me off when I was sick even though they said they were going to hold my position so mixed feelings about that but otherwise a nice Market

I find Murphy's Markets to be a nice change to safeway and rays. They seem to have decent produce and a quick shopping experience. Not huge, but has the necessities.

Had two whineing kids in the car,still had along way to go was able to get a sandwich and corn dogs for the little ones. Made the long drive a lot better.

Good products and deli stuff taste of homemade however check dates on coleslaw potatoe salad etc as they do not pull expired food
