We have traveled to Michigan and back, all thru Oregon and Washington and the entire length of California. This park is one of the best run, maintained, friendly, easy to get along with parks we've been at.We now come here as a great get away even tho it's a bit farther then we'd like. The owners, staff, grounds people make all the difference for a little longer travel. We have stayed here probably around 12-15 times for about 3-5 days each over the last 3 years. We have brought friends and family as well and they to have been very happy with their stay we travel with three dogs and we have never had an issue for them or us as far as that goes.McCloud RV Park is and will be our great "to go to spot" for a weekend or longer.

Really enjoyed the park. The staff is very efficient, hard working, and helpful. It was my first time parking our trailer and I wanted to try it. Anthony was so helpful!! What a great guy. Always working on something. Was hoping to meet Warren and Tammy but they were just returning from a trip as we were pulling out. Very clean and beautiful place! Highly recommend it!!!

Just returning from a delightful visit to McCloud and McCloud RV Resort. The owners could not have been nicer and more accommodating. The resort shows a pride of ownership and is definitely an RV Resort to visit. The town presents several quality restaurant's of various cuisines. Close proximity to upper and lower McCloud river falls. We are looking forward to our next visit to this little GEM in the mountains.

The best part is the wonderful service of the most friendly and helpful people in the office. And also the cleanness of the campground and the beautiful high trees! - If you bring your Starlink the high trees can be a challenge though. And the size of many sites is not wide enough for bigger rigs. Don’t trust the map, it’s not scaled. It feels and looks like a RV and Truck exhibition in some parts and you better bring a measuring tape to see if your slide outs might hit the neighbors in the the narrow spots. Unfortunately this is not taken into account when booking a site. But if you are under 30 feet with zero to one slide out, lots of beautiful campsites are awaiting you!!! Lots of room for kids to play and ride their bikes! And the campground is a good location to many fantastic hikes around Mount Shasta. Many are around 30 minutes away by car.Nearby activities: Great outdoors nearby!

We were on a road trip with no agenda. Arrived here shortly after their office closing. No reservations. Didn’t want to drive the 2 lane in this area, in the dark.We called the phone number on their door. They were very accommodating over the phone. Took our basic info and billed our credit card info. We were soon on a campsite hooking up to utilities. The park is well kept. We enjoyed our brief overnight stay. The pizza place in the barn out front of the RV park was an added pleasure.

My small dachshund, leashed was attacked by 2 larger dogs, unleashed. When I reported it to the manager she said “what do you expect me to do about it in the office. You can’t expect me to deal from the office” I just wanted support from management. She never asked if we were okay. Never said she was sorry that it happened. Never said she’d see what she could do about the loose dogs.My dogs are my babies (which clearly wasn’t understood by management). I was shaken by large dogs charging us and my dog was jumped! 😢

Beautiful park. Friendly Staff. Had a bit of trouble parking as we went to wrong site, fortunately was able to stay a bit and move when we could get the coach in Reverse. Had to cool off. The people staying there were very helpful too, obviously noting we were NEW to the Rv thing. LOL It was a great place. If I were to ask for anything more it would be to make the Entrance more noticeable, The only sign was RV PARK and the road had big trees etc on both sides, I was unsure this was the place. A nice sign would be appreciated as other people said same thing. I would definitely stay again going that direction!

We enjoyed our two night stay at the McCloud Rv park. It was clean and very quiet. Park hosts were friendly and helpful. We stayed in November so it was mostly empty and plenty of room. I can see that if the place was busy, the spaces would be crowded and tight. The area was beautiful. Great hiking and trail riding. We would stay again.

Great camping place, kid friendly and very well organized. The owners have everything thought out and can provide extra amenities.A small creek runs through the site, and it is located right next to Mccloud in case you need to run into town and grab a few things. There's also a nice pizza restaurant and brewery right next to the campsite. We rented the Aspen RV which was very spacious for my family of 4. The RV was clean and stocked with everything you might need for camping. Very comfy inside and had water and electricity already set up when we got there. Also the AC unit kept the RV cool for us while we were there as it was a hot 4th of July weekend.Lastly, you can't beat the amazing views of Mt Shasta right outside your RV. Plus 5 min down the road you can also find the McCloud river and waterfalls. My kids enjoyed the water including jumping off the waterfall (safely of course).Great place for camping, glamping or RVing. We'll be coming back again soon.Safety: Very safe campground with many families and friendly folks.Walkability: Town is across the road with restaurants, stores, breweries, and much more.

We have stayed at a lot of RV parks, and this has to be one of the best. The park is so clean and well maintained. The owners are friendly and helpful. On our first visit we had a problem with our RV and had to leave after one night. We received a credit for the remainder of our stay. When we decided to return, the credit was readily accepted and making the reservation was quick and easy.I think our only complaint, other than the road noise that they can’t control, is the sites are really close together. The common areas behind the sites are spacious, but the sites themselves are really close.

We rented one of the Resorts cabins and were pleasantly surprised what we found on our arrival. A beautiful cabin tucked back in the trees with a creek flowing behind it. The cabin was clean and spacious and best of all, the AC was working wonderfully, as you might know that part of Northern California can get a bit hot. The cabin was fully stocked with the items you will need for your stay , beds were very comfortable and we had no problem with sleeping, thou you may want to bring a little fan to help push the cool air to the back bedroom if it is going to be hot. The resort was clean and quiet even with the amount of other campers, it was just a great place to enjoy the outdoors, very kid and pet friendly. Please check out their web site, for they do a great job at showing you just what is going on with their Resort.

We rented 3 cabins for our family over Christmas. The cabins were perfect. Warm and cozy and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with essentials as well as coffee!!! We brought our own firewood and were able to have nice fires in the firepits outside the cabins. Couldn't have been a more perfect vacation! Can't wait to go back.

Booked an RV site next to a cabin that others in our party rented. We were right next to the creek and had views of Shasta through the trees, as well as at the entrance. Their pipes are heated, which is perfect for winter, we appreciated that. The cabins were absolutely adorable. We never saw a person in the office all weekend, we just grabbed our map/sign in paper from the office bulletin board.

I cannot say enough good things about this RV park. The employees, the hosts, even the guests - this place carries good vibes. You are able to see Mt. Shasta from the park. You are close to some really awesome falls and cool hikes (some are easy enough that our 4 and 6 year boys were able to do them). The park is well kept. The employees here are great and accommodating, you can book online and they are very helpful! I would not pass an opportunity to stay here! We will be back!

We absolutely loved this place, easy access off hwy. there is a pizza and brewery next door. Beer was tasty, pizza pretty good, make sure you tell them you want it well done. Our dogs loved the grass, FYI, no mats on the ground, but it was fine since you are camping on beautiful lawn! Full hookups make it even better. Bathrooms clean, laundry and showers .We visited the beautiful waterfalls about 10 minutes up the road . We will be back.

We enjoyed this RV resort a lot. Our reservation was posted on the front bulletin board with easy directions to our spot. Tammy (the owner) walked over to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Jorge brought us wood for the fire pit. The park was so peaceful and quiet. Green grass everywhere. We are full timers and would come back here for a longer stay if we are ever in northern Ca again. Thank you Tammy and Warren for your hospitality and your beautiful park.
