Two names is kinda confusing but once I was there it shows the Ace name at front of the business. No confusion after that lol. Well stock hardware store just needs a little more organization. Some items were not with the price range labels . Other than that great hardware store.*Staff super helpful!

Excellent consumer service. I went to another Ace in my area and didn't get what I was looking for. They checked me out at another location and I found this store. Much larger and more selection. I went for a Stanley tumbler and also came out with some excellent quality metal toe rain boots.

I actually called the Ace hardware store in Paramount since it's closer to me, however they gave me another phone number that had nothing to do with Ace hardware store. I looked on Google for the closest Ace hardware store other than Paramount and found the maywood location, they had exactly what I needed and that was a garbage disposal wrench... They had it in stock..... This is the 5th time I needed something and they were the only one in stock....it's a drive but worth it

Friendly staff although the store is long overdue for a visual refresh. Aisles are narrow and crowded, but they had the item I needed and I come from over 20 miles away to purchase my $200 item. They waited for me to arrive which was just at closing and took great care of me. The staff makes up for the dated store appearance.

Needed a key made for my daughter’s Jeep. Called on a Sunday, was told to call back Monday and talk to Marco. Called back the next day (11/28/22), Marco doesn’t have the fob, but offers to order it for me and tells me it will take about a week to get it. I call back on 12/5 and Marco sounds irritated that I’ve called and assured me he has my number when it comes in. My daughter comes home for 3 weeks for Christmas break, so we don’t bother Marco. I call on January 9, 2023 (now 6 weeks since Marco told me he would have it in about a week) and he tells me it’s still not in and doesn’t offer any suggestions. So I ask if he could call someone to verify they indeed have the order or find out why it wasn’t received within a week when expected? He says he will and will call me back. Still waiting for that call. Called the Ace on Sepulveda and they take care of us in less than an hour. Don’t waste your time at this store if you’re a fan of customer service.

I called to find out if a certain product was available per their web site and was told it was. I told the customer representative I was on my way to purchase the product. When I arrived the product was no longer there. After asking if the product was still available I was told that it was placed on hold for me awaiting my arrival. Awesome! How cool was that? What a nice gesture. Every time I visit this place I feel like a little kid in a candy store.

I was on a mission to find a very popular toy for Christmas and when I called the rep named Yicel was so compassionate, understanding and professional. I went home with the item after she was able to hold it for me. The assistant manager greeted me as I walked in. Everyone in the store was friendly.

This place is great. I was able to pick up items that are not at the usual popular home improvement stores. Its a lot smaller but has a wide selection of tools, cleaning supplies etc...It was nice to see that it was kid friendly also. Polite and helpful customer service

It's a little dark inside and could do with better lighting but the inventory is amazing. The Handymans and Handywoman's... Well Handyperson's dream! I could wander around for days.The staff was super helpful and leaves me to assume they work off commission. If you're in the area and need a bit, swing by and give em the business.

My first time shopping here but I understand how difficult the guys the were helping me to find a 3/8 to 1/2 inch adapter for the faucet sink for the bathroom. I guess the guys that helped me were new on the job plus they did not have a mask on them. So I found what I needed. Wish they were trained better at that store with good people's skills. I would come back again. There's everything that your piping needs. Thank you.

UPDATE: so, my 1st interactions with LB Johnson were unsavory, but they did what small local businesses do and that's aim to please their local customers. so, I'm changing my rating because they went above and beyond to rectify their error and I truly appreciate it! 10 star service today!i ordered online 3 household cleaning items. i received everything exactly as advertised via the site.the store looks adequately equipped with plenty of parts and tools. I also saw a nice grill, pool floaties and wrought iron patio umbrella stands. i recommend checking out.

These guys at Maywood Ace Hardware are ripping people off!A lot of their prices are labeled incorrectly and it seems to be done on purpose!I went looking for a hose metal clamp!I looked at the 3 different sizes !2inch, 2.5 inch and 3 inch diameter! And they are charging the $2.99 for each one of them!Same price for the small one or the larger one!

Terrible place. Reserved a Storage shed by phone. Arnold told me he is holding it for me to pick up the next day. I drive over there for 2hours (LA Traffic) the next day and they have sold it to someone else. Not a trustworthy customer service. Shame on you.

Very knowledgeable people here, they will always know what you are asking them about whether it is plumbing stuff, fasteners etc. Fun to see what tools and old stuff is still unsold from years ago, feels like you are in someone's garage.

I couldn't find the part at Home Depot, so my mother suggested that I go to this hardware store. Sure enough, we found it here. The same diameter and the same type of piece that I needed. An adapter for the shower head.☺️
