The place alright!! the biggest problem i face is long lines because of short staffing! Meaning you can expect to wait a while just to purchase things, I really think they need to start serving self checkout like the bell gardens location! To help customers checkout a lot faster! But given how this location is not as big as the one bell gardens location it’s gonna be difficult to put self checkout due to lack of space!

The store was packed full, yet closing down lanes with lines jammed full like canned anchovies. Ridiculous. I left my items on the checkout & exited the store. What a waste of my time.

I frequently shop here and I live just three blocks away. Everyone is always very friendly, but there was a terrible noise coming from the meat department's speaker. I hope this can be fixed; I feel bad for the staff members who have to work there. Management needs to take care of this issue for both the benefit of the customers and the staff.

Today 8/29/21 6pm the manager refused to pass my coupons. When they gave it to me at that location. We been going to this location for years.The manager was very rude. And didn’t even tried, I will never never going back. Superior will be taking my business. And my mom likes to go everyday.Be more grateful to your customer. If your a manager your position is to help people. Not losing customers.If I can I will be more than happy to give 0.

Over all a clean and ok to do your food shopping fresh produce well stock in items and nice cut meat form the meat department and they have organic products as well as vegetable available here.

I do most of my grocery shopping here. The produce and meat department are always fresh and clean. The cashiers are nice and friendly. The only issue is that it is a smaller store than others, so the variety of products is not large.

Yesterday my wife and kids went in to order a cake. She stood there between 10 and 15 minutes waiting for one of the 3 workers to assist her. They went in very excited and left kind of bummed. They had to leave to buy the cake somewhere else. Never going back there again . only spend money with businesses happy to help

Great customer service! Produce Manager very attentive, helpful to my needs. The store is very clean,organized that was so easy to select my item's. I would recommend family and friends to come to food 4 less to shop. They will find what they need.

What a bad experience on the day 02092023 at 12:30 pm my son started to vomit and the employees only gave me paper, I wiped up all the vomit and while I was cleaning the cashier I just wanted me to pay for what I bought, nobody helped me so that my son would not fall or pass out

Never again will go to this store again! I stopped by the store October 16,2020 at around 10:30 going to 11:00 am, the cashier was very hostile and upset because I was taking sometime to take out my cash . When the transaction was finished he leaves to stands in the exit double doors blocking the way. I didn't put any mind to it until I tried to exit. When I tried to exit he wouldn't let me out because he was fighting and cussing at an elderly man who was walking past the store. I had my 4 year old daughter and this behavior is unacceptable coming from a Food 4 Less employee. If I would had gone on my own I would had not gotten as upset but for my daughter to be exposed to such violence right in front of us or for her to have gotten hurt because of this employee and man arguing is not ok!. The man and employee were ready to fight right in front of us and many things could had gone wrong but I am so glad I was able to walk past it with my daughter to the car safely. I didn't try going back to the store to talk to the manager because I wanted to get out of there ASAP!

Everything is almost expiring at this store. Always check the date! The carts are horrible!! Plus worst costumer service in the deli department. The staff is rude and very unprofessional and want to treat you like there giving a hand out to one. The Food 4 Less in Bell Gardens is way better. Everything fresher and new carts.

This F4L is close to my work, and I always visit for the fresh and affordable fruit they have in stock during lunch. There's often sales on water bottles and juice, which is very convenient.The floor is clean, and the bathrooms are well maintained. Along with a friendly staff, I keep pleasantly coming back.

The store is currently on strike. The workers only get paid less then minimum wage. And there raise is only 10 cents. Food 4 less is a big chain store. I don't understand whywould they treatable employees this way.

The supervisor was very very rude. i will never be shopping at this food for less again. he talked to me very rudely and i seen him talking to another worker from wingstop very rudely. She asked him for change politely and he told her “good luck with that” and was talking to her very nasty. please look into this.

I always enjoy shopping at this particular FOOD FOR LESS MARKET simply because everything is always displayed neatly and i can find what im there for without any hassles.... Now this being said.. The cashiers could at least give service with a smile and oay attention to customers instead of having conversations with eachother. I find it to be very rude and disrespectful to be ignored and given service without a smile or greeting.

I tried to buy some beer with a valid, government issued ID but the cashier wouldn't accept it. He didn't even tell me why, he completely ignored me until my boyfriend, who is actually younger than me, offered to pay for it. It was extremely unprofessional on the cashier's part to act like I wasn't even there and just give me my ID back without even *looking* at me.
