This was previously my main place to pick up cat food for the last 2.5 years. I have a picky eater cat, and about 2.5 years ago one lady who worked here at that time gave me several cat food sample bags to see if my cat would eat any of it. That lady was nice, and Sure enough, my cat ended up only picking Firstmate indoor cat formula out of all the samples and I bought that food from this store when they carried it in stock. Several months ago from today, they stopped stocking that specific cat food at this store, but a nice lady for the last several months who used to work there would special order it for me and I would pick it up when I visit town every couple months when I placed the order on the phone. I always ordered the big bag of the cat food so I don’t need to make too many trips within time. Today I visited to try to get a special order placed and the new lady that works there said they couldn’t locate any special orders with my name, even my previous orders. I was there a couple months ago to pick up my last bag and I still keep all my receipts in a file. Obviously the way I was spoken to is like they thought I was lying about having special orders placed for that specific cat food for the last several months. The new lady called the other VIP store to see if they’re still able to order that cat food but it’s not in the inventory system as they discontinued it. I also overheard the other store lady saying on the phone to this store’s clerk that if I throw a fuss over it that there’s nothing else they can do. So I ended up opening a Chewy account today and chewy stocked that specific cat food. So I guess I would have to get it shipped instead of buying locally due to the store discontinuing carrying that product. I try to buy local as much as possible but it is what it is.

There was lots of cool pet stuff, and prices seemed fair. The person manning the store was friendly and checked in occasionally to offer assistance :) sorry I didn't catch his name.They had some nifty cat trees :3Only gripe was that there's no restroom. Would have stayed longer and bought more if I'd been able to find one close by.

A top notch pet store! Although they used to have aquarium and fish supplies, and no longer do, they are still a great pet store. Dog and cat supplies, including dog food and cat food, they also have toys, clothing, dishes, beds, kennels, cages, grooming supplies and other equipment abound.Also, the store is pet friendly. My dog and I met other dogs and owners there. Everyone is very friendly and I like to bring my border collie puppy to help socialize her. She enjoys it immensely, and I do, too. VIP Pets also delivers dog food for free with a minimum order. I definitely will be returning to this store.

Came in for some VIP pets stuff but am saddened to say none of the experience was VIP. Three girls at the front desk carried on their conversation and never greeted our family Nor asked if I needed assistance, Instead stared at us uncomfortably and carried on their conversation. The selection in this store is also very Minimal.

The employees are very helpful and knowledgeable, the dog wash is awesome! I have a very great Dane/GS mix dog, and it's so great to be able to wash him up with warm water, and at a great price! It tends to get busy on the weekends, so just be prepared to wait some times, but it is worth it!

Girl working the register never greeted me, never asked if I needed help. Low selection of collars here anyway. When I went to ask her for help regarding an AD this place had on Facebook, she knew nothing about it. She said a manager "could call me sometime but doesn't know when."Don't recommend, won't return.

Very poor selection of products on the Shelf on top of the fact that when I walked in with my dog the girl who was working there seems scared of my dog the entire time my dog is super friendly nothing but nice we figure if you're going to work at a pet store you should actually like animals or not be afraid of them will be the last time I go there

Absolutely unbelievable that they will let one person take up every single dogwash station because they have more than 1 dog. I'm sorry you can only wash so many dogs at a time. I have used their dog wash stations many times and typically get great customer service

I love this store. They are all super knowledgeable and kind. I just brought my new foster by and they helped me set him up with a kennel, a bed, and a better leash. They gave me a few probiotic treats for his upset stomach. I also don't think the prices are any higher than PetSmart. Seriously shop local and enjoy the tailored care and small space.

Very nice staff. Store is okay, but not as nice as others. Dog bath water is cool and dryer is cook. My dog was shaking, because it was so cold. No towels.

Always a good experience. Great selection of Pet foods, Treats and accessories. I believe they also have Self serve Dog bathing, and a Groomer.If you feed Grocery store food, to your Carnivore pet? You WILL have a better pet by switching to Grain Free!Feed less, and save more at the Veterinarian!!

I came in to use the doggy bath and it was both efficient and fun, I decided to get my dog a treat and the young woman with short hair at the front recommended me some of the doggy yogurt to help with the hot weather. Will be back again!!

With all the rave reviews I was expecting a lot more. I was highly disappointed in the employees. They are not knowledgeable at all. So I guess all these people that praises this place know what they’re getting before they get there. Highly disappointed. I won’t go back there. When you talk to an employee and they say “I don’t know” and then just walk away from you. Then I thought she was coming back to me but no she went and helped another customer Even though I was there first.

We went here to use the self service dog wash. We had a wonderful experience with our puppy Leeloo. They have great equipment, lots of space and provide the soap. We expected the cost to be around $20 and paid only 10.99. This is another place we will be back to soon.

Awesome place and very pet friendly. They allow you to take your pet in the store as long as they are on a leash. Prices are excellent. They provide services for your pets such as grooming, and others. They have a wide variety of supplies for all types of pets and animals. Great customer service as well.

Yup. Super chill vibes. Boutique selection of premium products. Cashier on the phone during check out was kinda rude, but it's a one man (woman) show so it didn't bother us too much.

VIP pets has the best spot to wash your dog. They have an area with large metal tubs that your dog could walk up and get into, a water sprayer, and also a soap sprayer to clean your dog. when you're finished washing your dog they have a large blow dryer also. It is maintained very well and you can't beat the price I highly recommend taking your dogs to VIP pets if you need to wash them.

The do it yourself dog baths are reasonably priced and the dog food is as well. Nail clipping for only $5! That being said, the store is dusty and more like a warehouse. They also have a very limited selection of reptile supplies.

Everything for petsThe experience was good as you walk in you are met by friendly staff.The smell was a mix of wet dog and dog food.The warehouse presentation was ok too.Absolutely not a snooty place.If you need pet things check them out

I used to love this store but recently something strange has happened. I would either take my dog to get her groomed or take my cat in for a nail trim but every time I call they say they are booked too far out to take reservations. This has been happening for the past 3 months. The Yuba City store doesn’t do any grooming and refers me to the Marysville store. The groomers always did a perfect job grooming my elderly border collie and nail clip on my crabby Siamese cat. I’m terribly disappointed they can’t seem to tell me what’s up! I also buy food for my animals there. Going to go elsewhere now. Very sad as this was close to home for me to bring my animals in.

I took my big old Dirty Hairy Labradoodle there today. Best experience ever! The groomers were so sweet and so fun, and they just hugged all over my dog, and he just loved it! When he came out from being groomed, he looked better than he has in a very, very long time! And he seemed happy! Based on this experience, I absolutely highly recommend VIP pet dog grooming in Marysville California! T. S., they put some kind of cologne on him, and he smells wonderful! I need to find out what it is, so I can get some for my hubby! Woohoo!

High prices. False advertising said their blue buffalo wad cheaper than chewy.. Injuried my pets ear when cutting nails Got food with moths in it. Sold me something that was told wrong info and didn't get a receipt so couldn't return it.

I used the DIY dog bath they have. Its great clean dog no mess at home no bending over the tub! And very reasonably priced too!
