It's perfectly fine. Prices are in line with other stores in the area. The cashier's are generally nice and helpful. Lots of homeless around so not so safe at night. Store is very cramped and displays are in the worst areas. The cake section of the store is awful. Employees are rude and unhelpful but the rest of the deli / food area are very nice. I go here for a few things but rarely do my full shopping here.

For a smaller, thriftier grocery store, this place has an outstanding selection. They've got Bitchen sauce, which you can't get everywhere. If you like hummus, you should give the almond-based Bitchen Sauce a try. Surprisingly, they have one of the hugest varieties of tomato sauces I've seen anywhere, including several sugar-free brands. Prices may vary, but I saw a bottle of Apothic (brand) red wine for $7.80! That's the best price I've ever seen for Apothic, and I used to buy it in 2015. It usually goes for $10-14 in other stores.Great hot sauce selection, including two brands of sriracha.The only downside of this store is that it is rather cramped, but that is because there is so much good stuff here!

No longer shop here.Too expensive!Everything is cramped, hard to walk around without nocking over display which happens to be in a bad spot to begin with.The mobile carts for the disabled are in bad condition, and there's not enough of them.USED TO BE NICE HERE. NOT ANYMORE.DID I MENTION, TOO EXPENSIVE? OH YEAH. I JUST DID.

I like the layout of the store. The produce was very fresh. The isles are a bit skinny and it can get crowded. The prices are good but I noticed the prices of Ice Cream were a bit steep. Great customer service. Knowledgeable and friendly.

All in all the store works for Marysville. But I wish I the employees had was a little more urgency to help get customers in and out, or even ask them if they need help finding something. Waiting in line for 15 minutes on a regular basis is a little disappointing.

I love yes I love Save Mart it is the #1 best grocery store in the Yuba-Sutter area. The prices are great the choices are perfect. I wanted some sweet chili sauce. Could not find it. I was beginning to think I was crazy, then we went to Save Mart! There were several brands. And if you have never tried Sloppy Joe with Chlli you really should fantastic!

Im come to foodmax or savemart but not anymore. I forgot to request a bag at checkout and for .13 your company decided to stop my business which is worth at least $100 per week. The cashier at the Linhurst ave store decided to stop my business for .13 cents. Great thinking. Goodbye regular customer. I have worked retail for over 40 years as a manager and It's time to find employees with common sense. I told her I didn't do it on purpose and I wasn't going to use my debit card for .13.

I come here all the time and just went in tonight around 6:30. The latina woman w tattoos working in the bakery was rude for no reason. Absolutely zero customer service. Shouldn't be working with the public if you're gonna be a straight bxtch.

The person name Vicky in the deli is not a good coworker. She left the othercoworker with a group of people waiting to be helped. I waited for 20 mins to be helped. I heard the one coworker apologized for Vicky leaving because she wanted to get her dishes done. This was at 5pm, dinner rush.Then I got home and because they did package my dessert well. It was all over the box.

This review is for Food Maxx, I believe owned by the SaveMart group.Produce is pretty good. Current sale on ribeye steaks @ $5.99 lb and the cuts are fantastic. They smoke excellently on a pellet grill. Stores clean. Busy at 11pm.

The staff are very polite and helpful.I love their deli and bakery section. We have ordered a few cakes from them and they do not disappoint. They have a great tres leches cake!!!!Their deli section also includes fresh pasta salads and an array of salads.I love the 5/$25 deals on meats. Produce is always fresh.Good selection of alcohol.Prices are a little higher but you do avoid the crowds.Need flowers and/or balloons? They sell them there.

Customer service was fantastic. I was looking for black-eyed Peas and couldn't find them anywhere else so asked this ery nice gentleman if they had any and asked if I wanted fresh or dried. I was in shock to find those choices.....was expecting canned or frozen? So excited that I'm going to be able to cook fresh ones for New Years Day dinner. They have always been a tradition for good luck.

The customer service is good. However, I ordered a 25 piece fried chicken earlier in the day to be ready by 4pm. I arrived a little early to grab other items needed for dinner. The chicken wasn't ready so I waited. Got home and found during dinner that at least 6 pieces were still raw!! I'm just glad nobody got sick!!

the people that work here are outstanding! Very helpful and personable! their produce isn't always the greatest. I picked up some strawberries the other day that went bad in one day and they replace them without question! The five for five deal in the meat department is a real money-saver! Picked up some nice little steaks for $5 a piece! The deli department again is very well staffed! I stopped here off and when I need to pick up something for dinner on the way home from work. Try the chicken strips as a snack. Delicious and always fresh

I have been to this store quite a few times.. It is always clean and the staff are friendly enough. However, the two times I have purchased fried chicken from their deli, the person bagging up the chicken shuffled through it, picking out the smallest pieces for my bag. There were some plump breasts that were fried up and ready to go, why didn't one get sent home with me? I will probably still run by there if I need something real quick, but I won't be buying chicken from their deli again. My store of choice is Belair on Stabler Lane. IMHO, it's the best grocery store around.

To all that view, before I go into the reviewi want say that I'm praying that all of you are safe and loved ones too during Covid 19's ravishing round the World and my sincere condolences for any that may lost someone during the hardest time in modern history. We need to stop our Country's dislike for one another so we move forward as the World's greatest Country ever God Bless us all...Ok about Save Mart... 👀🤔👐📣🤩 I walked into it a few weeks ago and for a secondI walked into another building? . There were new regriration enclosures and the order of refrigerated items where in different places along the Same Wall!. Some of the tiles were missing and as I made the first left hand turn OMG I want sure if I was dreaming or not!Best way make a long story short: They put their profits or whatever and improved the Entire place turning it into a first class level Supermarket bringing up spirits of people needing to see something else besides the torments of the World's sadness. I applaud Jeff the nicest, efficient and CARING MANAGER ANYWHERE and his Family of hard workers and his racially balanced team of Happy workers that make you want to come back to just say hello...This will never be this long again as I've said so much and sorry for that. I want to Thank the 348,000 people whom Google sent me that total last week. I love storyboard my visits and show off the kids (chihuahuas (8) (2). Cats from a Rescue and two birds that are so intelligent and loving. I always go there and end up getting so much more then i want which they have good sales but with there prices there sales are what truly save them cuz although it says save mart the only thing there saving is a trip to walmart .... lol its my go to though

Easy friendly store to shop. Management couldnt be more helpful as well as the staff. Our area has been hit badly emotionally from the fires and prices are up. I will drive an extra 20 minutes to come here because of the way they treat people. There prices are not the highest but their quality and service are. I love this place and the people who work here are the greatest from the top to the bottom. I for one am grateful for a grocery store like Save Mart. Thanks for your hard work and care

Save mart is always nice to visit for a quick pick up. Clean well stocked in and out quickly. They were short on baggers so I bagged my own which I don't mind. The only bagger they had working was wrangling carts as she was returning from the lot. Pretty busy for a Friday and only one person.

Cute and chick full of lots of name brand foods, which I have a hard time finding in other supermarkets who only stock their own 'house' brand. Friendly management and upgraded cold boxes. The meat is better than most and it has a nice butcher's counter.

I've been going to the store for many years and in the recent months I can't help but notice how much the quality of customer service has decreased. On two different occasions I have been greeted with a sour attitude at the deli. When people order multiple items from a deli they want it put in multiple containers. I was given two items crammed into one container. That's just lazy. If I wanted that service I would go WinCo Foods. I'm not a lost customer yet but I am definitely considering my other options for grocery shopping.

I really love this store. It has a good mix of value items and fancier items. For instance, you can get two for one value packs of chicken thighs inexpensively, and off and on the entire chicken for for $5. Or, you can get a thick cut prime aged ribeye steak for a lot of money. The produce section isn't huge but what they do have is always fresh. Good store.

I like this store but it's a toss up on my customer experience. I'd say 70% of the time, customer service is sub par at the register. No "hello how are you" or "thank you, come again". You almost fell like you're putting them out. The other 30% they are very kind and helpful. Because of that I usually only go there if I don't want to deal with the other busy stores and want to be in and out quick.

Joel was Awesome! I needed help in the clearance aisle & he was walking through. I stopped him & he helped me with no hesitation. Then when I went up to pay, he was the cashier. I think he was checking a price for a customer & I stopped him. Never did he make me feel hurried. My problem was pretty simple, but instead of sending me to some else or have me wait. He handled it like a BOSS!GREAT EXPERIENCE!
