Unfortunately all adoption organizations are over ran with cats. So if you are considering adopting or even fostering a cat or two check out Community Concern For Cats adoption event at Pet food Express 500 Center Ave Martinez, on Saturday. The team there has so much experience and love for these cats you can't go wrong.

Seems like I come here every weekend to clean Riley and her Point Isabel mud. I love that the self service dog wash has the shampoo /conditioner that comes out with the water. It truly saves time! The store is always clean and I have witnessed them clean/sanitize the wash area after each customer. The staff has always been friendly. Thank you!!

This store is so big and has so many options! I got a cute raincoat for my beagle $24, as well as a bunch of treats and toys for both my dog and cat. I found a selection of discounted items on the side of the store, ended up getting a really nice toy for $1.50 because it was Halloween themed. I also got some really good quality freeze dried cat treats for $1.50.I also selected a few cans of high quality cat food (nulo pates), they were buy 3 get one free. I didn't know of the sale and had only picked three, so the worker let me know I could have another for free, which was very kind of them!A really nice worker helped me find the crate I needed for my dog, showed me all the sizes and helped me pick! She even saved me a bunch of money by letting me know about ordering online and picking up in store. I got a 20% discount.I went to the pleasant hill store for the crate, as they didn't have the size I needed at this store, but they still had a huge selection if crates and carriers.There is a big selection of natural dog treats available and I got a bunch. They are all amazingly priced. I got a chicken foot for 99 cents! And a bunch of jerkies, bully sticks, some tendons, and a rawhide bone. My dog ate the chicken foot immediately, he was obsessed!This store is 1 hour from my house but I will be a repeat customer. My favorite pet store so far!

I love this place. The self serve baths are perfect and make washing the dog so easy. They provide soap in the hose on the wash cycle! No need to bring your own.And everyone is so nice. They act like they really are glad you're there.

I've always loved the service provided by this specific Pet Food Express. The employees are EXTREMELY helpful and knowledgeable. They started offering free same-day delivery, and let me tell you--I am ASTOUNDED by the lighting speed. I placed my order at 10 pm Friday night and bright and early the next morning my order was delivered with a handwritten note and FREE SNACKS for both my cats and dog to try. Definitely trying this service again!

They are always great! The employees are polite and very helpful. Unless I have no choice I always go there. Their buy 3 get one (so buy 4) is the best. Definitely another place I recommend. They also do adoptions and pet clinics on the weekend at most locations. Just a bonus to their superior customer service.

Love this place i can buy all my dog food and treats here. I also wash my dogs the too. They have training and adoption events it's pretty cool. I also love the fact that it's pretty clear to my house. Also like that VIP goes the on Monday's so my dogs can get their shots, it's pretty convenient.

The staff was very helpful; a good thing since this was the first time I used their self service dog wash. The price is $15 for twenty minutes. Everything you need, including towels, is included. They'll even clean up their floor in the (likely) event your dog pees on it.

Very sweet staff. My dog didn't want to get in and sit still for a bath so it took forever to wash her. The staff was kind enough to give me an extra token for some more time. They have a variety of other things for dogs toys, bowls, leashes and super cute doggy treats.

Hadn't been/shopped at a Petfood Express ever. Everyone was super friendly. They didn't have the dog food I get my little big guy, but they said they could order it for me. I thought that was really cool, they even gave me a free token for the pet wash services. They 'll always have my customer loyalty.

They sell a lot of dog food, but they don't have my brand. The staff is marginal on customer service. You can wash your pet nicely here however. I've heard it is reasonably priced. They sponsor pet adoption van here on Saturdays and have regular shot clinics scheduled.

I've been to a few Pet Express stores and this one is easily the friendliest and most professional with a wide array of services. They always remember my dog by its name. Most importantly, whenever we step into the place, my dog thinks he's in Disneyland-for-dogs: verily gleefully happy!

Went in for wild bird seed and it is something that this Pet Food Express location doesn't keep on the store front shelves, I had to ask an associate for a twenty pounder. Right away one came out for me. Very friendly service!

Exceptionally courteous staff. Facilities are always clean. Just watch out for the traffic, it's a very bad design. A narrow and partially blind corner. All it takes is one speeding car or distracted driver.

The people here are incredible!! They are so helpful and answer all of our questions. Our dogs have allergies and need special care. This is our regular go to for our 2 dogs and 3 cats. Awesome people here!!!!
