Since I was pregnant, I ordered oyster BBQ and was happy. I almost went crazy wanting to eat raw oysters instead! Seafood pasta... it kept rushing into my mouth! My baby also kept wanting seafood pasta. In the end, it inflated like a balloon! 🎈Thanks to you, I had a happy family evening!

Same ownership as Hog Island Oyster It was our first visit, was able to get table without reservations. However we noticed long lines started to form. So highly suggest you make a reservation prior.Great service and great food. Love the raw oysters but for everything else I prefer their sister restaurant, Marshall (just 2 mins away from this one)No cell reception in this area but they have WiFi. Plenty of parking space available. Bathrooms are outside. Indoor and outdoor seats available.

Amazing experience. We drove up from South Bay as we missed stopping here in May on a weekend away due to traffic. 2 hours each way and we had such a great experience. I learnt about different oyster flavors and enjoyed a wonderful meal. There's a staff wellness charge included on the bill but given the high level of service, it was well deserved. We look forward to returning and it's great to have staff who know their trade and love what they do. 🐟🍷

A really incredible experience. The view is amazing and the food was superb. Definitely must get the clam chowder - it's divine. One of the best clam chowder in my life, if not the best. It has real clams! Also the oysters are super fresh so you'll have to get that too.Would definitely go back!

Very nice restaurant if you are in Marshall, CA, and looking for seafood. Right along the water, it gives it a nice seaside fishing atmosphere. Parking can be a little tedious but not too bad. I ate outside on the deck, so I didn't really get a good look at the inside, but it seemed pretty nice with big windows and tables alongside. The food was pretty good but a bit on the pricey side. I had the grilled garlic butter oysters to start. They were delicious, well prepared, and nicely presented. I ended with the clam chowder, which comes with whole clams, shells, and all. While this gave it a very pleasing aesthetic, it was a bit cumbersome to have to dig them all out. The broth was ok but needed more flavor. A little salt and pepper, and it went from ok to really good. I washed it down with a semi-local IPA. Overall, it was a very good spot, so I definitely recommend!.

11/16/23 I don't want to change my review, just add, had lunch here last week. Same amazing service, same amazing fresh and delicious food. Dri, the manager, was so attentive, we fell in love again with this restaurant. - The first time we came to Tony's was on my husband's and I's first trip without our kids. We loved it so much we had to go back, this time, with our kids. The food is fresh, the ambiance is perfect, and just far enough from the city for you to have a great afternoon. Can't say enough about how delicious their food is, highly recommended. When you need to get out, just drive to Tony's. Enjoy the scenery on your way there, relax next to the water and eat delicious food. 😋

fresh oysters! Had the oyster bar mix, which gave us a chance to try out all the oysters they had on that day. We love sweet oysters, which were the Hog Island Sweetwater, Totten's, and our favorite the Pinkerton's Loot. We also tried the grilled oysters: Chipotle Bourbon, and our favorite the Garlic Butter. Tried the Cioppino, which was absolutely one of the best Cioppino I had. I love the brothy tomato soup base and the portions was large (we split between 2) with ample seafood.Parking: There's a few parking spots and you can park on the side of the road. We easily found parking, but this was during the weekdays. I could imagine how difficult parking can be during a busy weekend.

ABSOLUTE MUST TRY!!! The food here was incredible. The staff was excellent. And, the ambience was perfect. I understand this place is generally always busy so make reservations. Try the oysters - the local Tomales oysters were good. I’m used to east coast varieties but they had some tasty options. The cioppino was excellent - highly recommended. Rock crab seems to be a main draw here - I had some in my cioppino. Enjoy this treat.

Tony's is an awesome place for delicious seafood. We stopped by for lunch for the last meal on our California trip. Gorgeous drive from here to SFO down Highway 1, by the way. We enjoyed the wine, clam chowder and rock crab but the oysters were the biggest highlight. Excellent and friendly service.

Great outdoor views! Oysters, the pasta with clams, and the fries were our favorites!Would avoid the crab sandwich and fish and chips, with the former having tough bread and dry crab. The latter being a bit too greasy.A great spot to fill up before checking out some local wineries!

Celebrated my brother in laws birthday here. This place has a chill and relaxing vibe. Started the meal with the 24 of the fresh variety oysters. It's just 4 of all 6 of their oysters. They tasted good and looked good coming out on a huge ice platter. We ordered a bunch of things, each was unique to any other seafood restaurant I've been too. The rock crab claws were good, but took a long time to eat. I'm not from the area, but if I was near by I would come in again.Parking: There probably about 15-20 parking spaces in front of the restaurant. When its crowded you might have to try and find parking along the road. Just be careful because there are no sidewalks.

The location of the restaurant is beautiful but that is where the good ends. Our server, Tracy, was unable to answer any questions and was uninterested in finding the answers. We went ahead and ordered. We got our drinks and our food. The Oysters were okay but nothing I can't back home, my crab was HORRIBLE. It had an entire stick of butter congealed onto it with what appeared to be an attempt at seasoning. All you could taste was butter. $50 to eat a stick of butter was disheartening. However, I was still happy about where we were UNTIL we continued to not receive any service. Our server never brought us bread, never refilled our drinks, never checked on us (so I couldn't get the Lemons needed to choke down my crab). Then it took us 20 minutes get our bill. We finally get our $200 bill and see that they've charged an $8.35 employee wellness fee! They removed that after I pointed out I was unwilling to pay a wellness fee for an employee I never saw. The worst part was the table of four that sat down and ordered 2 minutes after us, still had never even received their food. This place was atrocious and I would never recommend it to anyone.

Tony's has been one of my favorite spots, and I always look forward to stopping by on our way north. The restaurant has just reopened after a year long renovation, and it looks fabulous. It's much more open and feels spacious and welcoming. The service and food remain fantastic. My was firmly declared it was the best clam chowder she has ever had. And of course their BBQ oysters are still amazing.

We went here on our way to Bodega bay on Thursday noon in July. The restaurant is small & right by the water. The parking spots are very limited but we were lucky to get a spot. We were seated right away inside the restaurant since the outdoor seatings were full.We ordered oyster bar mix (6pcs), fish & chips, and kids burger.- Oyster bar mix: a great way to get a taste of different kinds of oysters. My favorite is Chelsea gems (had a hint of sweetness). The oysters were fresh & meaty! The vinegar sauce cut the fishiness of the oyster.- Fish & chips: the fish pieces & fries were crispy. They were good but nothing memorable. The red cabbage coleslaw was ok - could have cut the cabbage a wee smaller & put more sauce on it.- Kids burger: it was huge! My kid had to share it with me. The patty was delicious & cooked perfectly! I guess it was similar to Tony's Burger on the menu but without the veggies. Nonetheless, it was delicious!Overall, a solid restaurant with good food. Would be back when we pass the area again

Charming little place in point Reyes, but the service felt a little like scant and dismissive. The food… was hit and miss. The bread- good. The oysters and the sauce- amazing. The mushroom soup left a lot to be desired. The clam chowder was decent. A lot of clams. The pie was also amazing. If you’re looking for some yummy oysters, but nothing else? This place will deliver.Kid-friendliness: Gave the kids crayons and coloring paper.

Fantastic seafood lunch right on the bay. Get there early or make a reservation for this popular venue. Hog Island oysters from the bay right before you! We had ciappino and clams with pasta. Both amazing. Cold draft beers. The one thing that was a bummer, was the wait staff had their own boon box playing their favorite music that did not fit the setting. A peaceful setting marred by unwanted annoying music. Let the sounds of nature prevail!

The food is really awesome and a great way to stop by to pick up some of the freshest oysters in the bay area. Came on a weekend close to closing time and was not able to get a seat for 2. Ordered a couple of their most delicious foods for takeout. They oysters are extremely pricey, tasty and small however. The fish and chips was quite good as well and a great value. The crab claws with cajun seasoning was good however the meat was a little tougher than I expected and shells are not fully cracked requiring a lot more manual efforts and good luck if you don't have a metal double jaw. Great friendly and quick service.

I always really enjoy coming here. Ita in an absolutely beautiful location with a decent amount of parking. There's usually a line to get in but it's worth the wait if you have time. There's plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, but due to the pandemic they have expanded their outdoor seating and close the indoor portion. The service is always lovely and the outdoor seating is dog friendly. The menu isn't huge but what they do make they do it extremely well. I've tried almost everything on the menu and you can't really go wrong. The dish and chips are some of the best I've ever had, the grilled cheese is incredible and the muscles are fantastic (especially the broth). It's all a tad pricy but evryrhibg is definitely worth the money.

Worth the drive out here. We sat by the window enjoying their fresh oysters. I love the clam chowder soup which is light. We’re definitely going back!

We've been to many seafood restaurants by the bay, by the ocean, here in CA. Please believe me when I say this place has the best oyster po boy, fish & chips, and clam chowder served with real fresh clams in the shells! Our server, Slater was fast. There's a line to get in if you don't have a reservation but it's worth it. My hubby particularly enjoyed a glass of their hazy IPA. We came here after enjoying a few oysters at Hog Island Co. Both places were superb. It's a Mecca for foodies!Kid-friendliness: There were lots of families with kids!

The menu when we visited featured mollusks and crustaceans galore in various crackable forms. Be prepared to get messy working for your food. Tasty across the board. The atmosphere was crowded and deafeningly loud such that you could have an intimate private conversation with the person right next to you that would be all but unintelligible to a person one seat further.Kid-friendliness: Maybe for your budding marine biologist. Didn't see any kids when we visited.Wheelchair accessibility: Not indoors in any easy way.

After all day of walking around of sight seeing, we randomly walked into this restaurant without any expectations but WOW! This restaurant checks all the boxes! Lovely view, great staffs, most importantly the food was top notch. They also have CA local beers that we loved!

Tony's has the best clam chowder I think I have ever tasted and it's gluten free!!! The oysters were amazing (had to make a second stop on this trip just so I could get more!)! The grilled cheese needs a better name because it is a gourmet grilled cheese for adults and, judging from hubby's face, was phenomenal as well. Nothing but great things to say about this place! The staff is also really friendly, fun, and welcoming! I will make a point to stop here any time I'm in the area!!! (I think I was told that the fish and chips are also gluten free but I didn't have room for those!)Dietary restrictions: There were lots of gluten free items: the oysters, the clam chowder, and the fish and chips to name a few.
