Best place to get your oysters and clams to go! We made sure we brought our cooler and purchased 50 extra small oysters. There is nothing extra small about these. They seemed normal size to me and packed with flavor! We kept the oysters on ice and shared them over 2 days.We drove up to get lunch at their restaurant, The Marshall store, and it was very busy with limited seating, but their oysters were worth the wait. Preferred the fresh over broiled but to each their own ;).

Great spot, and amazingly fresh oysters, fresh out of the ocean. I was able to shuck the oysters right on the spot and they sold me a can of beer as well - right out on the picnic bench. Beautiful views and some of the freshest oysters I've ever had. They even had some hot sauce to sprinkle on the top. If you're doing that route from the city to the countryside, this place is a good stop along the way.

Was there today with some friends. I really appreciated that the worker took out the two dead oysters and replaced them with the live one. I got a bag of 50 pacific medium for $95, they were sweet, and really good raw. My friend were surprised how good they were despite the large size.

Great place for fresh oysters to go. Friendly and fast. Bring your ice chest and be ready to take them somewhere else to eat. No picnicking on site.

Incredibly fresh oysters and very knowledgeable staff! It’s such a cute shop, and located right next to the water. I would recommend that you bring your own oyster knife and lemon (so you don’t have to buy them there)! I asked them to show me how to chuck on a hater and they were very willing to do so :)Kumamoto: The best. The oyster is slightly sweet and pairs well with its natural salty brine. Don’t use any additional sauce or lemon on this— it’s a waste of an oyster if you do. Honestly, if I came back, I would just eat these.Golden nugget: Pretty flavorless oyster, so it really tastes like the ocean (in the best way possible). Probably would not get again if I can here.

Great service. Amazing product. Bring a cooler. They give you ice. Bring cash. There's an ATM on site but high fees and they only accept cash. And there's nowhere there to actually eat the oysters. But they are harvested daily and I would challenge you to find a fresher shellfish.

Always and forever my favorite oyster farm in Point Reyes. The Golden Nugget is the highlight. It may look like it's small based on the size of the shell but once you shuck it you will find these creamy, meaty and succulent nuggets of briny goodness. So worth the drive and the price.

Freshest oysters. Decently priced. Parking is for quick pick up only. Unfortunately you can’t have picnics there anymore. Have to buy and go elsewhere. They can recommend a few places nearby to enjoy your oysters. Also sell oyster knives and other useful knick knacks.

Picked up oysters here - Kumamoto and Golden Nugget that were absolutely delicious. The brine is so tasty and the oysters are creamy.Recommend bringing: cooler, shucking knife (can buy from them), lemon, knife to cut lemon, gloves or cloth rag, bowl to hold shells, cutting board or surface to put oysters on. Also any food, drinks, cups and plates you need!No picnicking allowed onsite but they have a map of picnic locations.

Been coming here for years. It is my favorite place to pick up oysters, no comparison. Better prices than anywhere else in the area and they’re delicious. They carry bread and fixings for shucking as well. Love the dogs and love the people here. Heads up they’re cash only and have an ATM on site.

Came by here on a Friday to pick up a bag of oysters, the lady was really nice, we didn’t have a cooler for the oyster, so they gave us bucket with ice and couple of lemons 🍋 we chuck our oysters by the water and watched the sunset. Oysters was sweets and fresh and clean. Will definitely 👍Come back again and again to support the locals farms. Thank you

Out of the way but worth the trip. Delicious and fresh seafood. We bought a few bags of oysters and clams to enjoy. They also have hot sauce and ice to assist your picnic.

Fantastic experience! Don't forget to bring some accompaniments (wine/beer, cheese, crackers, bread, etc.) to go along with the super fresh oysters and a blanket to sit on. Sit back and relax. A dozen small oysters were enough to entertain the two of us for about an hour, but we aren't experienced or efficient at the process. We could have gone for the larger ones. I'm sure I could eat a dozen on my own. They do have loaner shucking knives.

The only spot I buy oysters from. Straight from the source. Great staff knowledgeable about their oysters. If you never tried oysters before definitely try it here first, and you won’t be shell shocked 😉. Fresh and packed with flavor. When you run out you’ll say shucks 😄

Everyone that works here are super friendly! It's been awhile since we came here, a long drive from Oakland, due to Covid 19, I've been craving for fresh oysters! Highly recommended to get the 50 pieces because a dozen is simply not enough!Since we ate it raw, we got the small sizes and they were sweet and delicious! Going back to try the Gold Nuggets next time!

I came here during my bachelor trip and it was a fun experience to shuck and eat fresh oysters. The oysters were the freshest I've ever had (they're kept alive in a tank) and there are different types of oysters, mussels, and clams offered. We bought a dozen small oysters and a dozen medium oysters for around $45. The small ones had a slightly sweeter taste than the medium ones, but of course had less meat. The large oysters are only meant for grilling (but because they had to take the grills away, that means you have to take the large oysters home to grill). Also, the manager was super nice. Because it was our first time shucking oysters, he gave us 2 shucking knives, a cutting board, cocktail sauce, and lemons for free. That saved us over $30 in extra costs.

Fresher oysters cannot be found...small place with outdoor seating, reservations needed for picnic spots but clean and friendly, great place to visit on a hot summer day since the sea breeze makes for a comfortable place to hang out with friends and pups🐾!

Best place to buy oysters for me. Super fresh, testy, good variety. Little bit far away from me to visit more often, but I definitely will come back.

The oysters are usually good here. But I was quoted $90 for a dozen mediums. It should have been $25. She just realized her mistake when I wanted to call my friend up to see if he still wanted them at that price. So I took this photo afterwards. I didn't think it was an honest mistake.

Delicious oysters. These were their "smalls" which is like 3x the size of what we would get in SF. Cash only! We drove not too far to a picnic area to enjoy the oysters. Can't wait to go again!

50 small pacific oysters for $80. So that’s like $1.60/each. 12 golden nuggets for $25, or $2.08/each. After the novelty worn off, we questioned if their oysters/price are better other same type found at high end grocery stores. Aside from the golden nugget oyster, the answer is no, it’s not worth the 2.5hrs trip nor better quality. Albeit grocery store sales $0.10 more buy you don’t waste your expensive gas, put up to sale guy prickly demeanor, 15mins parking and you out type of place, then I highly recommend stick to your high end grocery stores

Super fresh tasty oysters for a great price! Fast and friendly service. They don’t have a place to eat or shuck them however. Golden nuggets were fantastic 🤤

The freshest oysters straight for the ocean. Great place to picnic. Reasonable prices per sack of raw oysters.

Good place to get fresh oysters. Picnic area was rather limited but otherwise, experience of shucking own oysters made it worth it. Make sure you come prepared- bring own thick gloves, board, lots of rags, lemons, limes,Tabasco sauce and other condiments if you want to save a bit of money and skin. Bring own grill as there is no option for cooking the oysters.

I've been coming here since I was a kid and sure the company has grown, but the oysters are still delicious. I suggest you get their Golden Nugget Oysters. They are a bit pricey, but really hit the spot. As of this review they have parking for folks who want to grab Oysters to go and then valet parking for folks that want to picnic. Grills and tables have been removed due to county ordinances. You can't beat a nice drive up the coast for Oysters!
