Rock paradise, and the owner is super cool. He’s super nice, and there are variety of unique stuff that I believe u won’t get anywhere else. All crystals in here are real! And fun fact that he also has golds that he mined by himself. Definitely gonna come back next time

Great street presence so we had to go in. There was a ton of variety. Observed some pretty cool stuff mixed in with the usual tourist clutter. Prices were somewhat high in my opinion. Didn't buy anything.Lady there, not the owner by the way, was kind and helpful. Lots of warning signs on entrance from owner which seemed out of place. Enjoyed browsing very much tho.

Signs posted everywhere in the store telling customers how to behave. The lady at the counter was talking loudly on the phone — personal call, not business — saying how she might close early and leave once “these people leave.” As I answered a cell phone call, she angrily pointed out a “no cell phones” sign posted behind some clutter. This behavior is a pattern we’ve observed in previous visits to Mariposa. We even joked about being yelled at by the store lady on our way in. Honestly it’s worth a visit just so you can see what I mean.

Our family had a fantastic time gold panning and digging for crystals on Daniel’s property. The area with the crystals are really well shaded and made for a great way to spend some time learning about this area and walking away with a great haul of crystals. He is extremely knowledgeable and really engaged with the kids well!

Cashier (Owner?) was an older lady with a terrible attitude. As a business owner myself, it’s rare to meet someone who is probably solely responsible for damaging their own business. Nasty to my 8 year old even though he was supervised and caused no harm to her or her products. Possibly she’s dealing with mental illness? I’d highly recommend bringing on a cashier and staying far from your customers. We walked out after continued negative comments from her as we tried to make a purchase. Utterly baffling.

This place has soooo many items like souvenir clothes, stickers, magnets as well as trinkets, and rocks! I bought some nifty feathers there too! They have a very cool vintage cash register too! Very kind and helpful owner! :)

We had a good experience. The cashier was nice. No negativity as others had mentioned. She did hover but whatever. Both of my children were supervised and one dropped a marble. With the sound of the marble hitting the floor, I saw two heads pop up whom I presume own/run the store but they laughed it off. There are a NUMBER of cautionary signs through out the store. Super cute shop with a million options for little trinkets

MOST RUDEST AND DISRESPECTFUL STORE OWNER IVE EVER ENCOUNTERED!! We thought some rocks for our children would be a good souvenir for our visit to Mariposa. The owner came and hovered over us like we criminals. She followed us around the the store and was extremely rude. We felt uncomfortably and decide to leave. She taunted us, called us rude for coming in to here store and leaving and told us OUR KIND was not allowed in her store and should leave Mariposa. (Mexican-Americans). She recorded us and took pictures of our children, then went next door to other other shops and talked about us to other people. This experience was infuriating and extremely discriminatory. Although, there was SO much we wanted to say we kept our composure and quietly left Mariposa. We will never go back to this town again. In all we were stunned at such blatant disrespect and racism. Due to this experience and this hateful, discourteous store owner we will never step one foot back in this town. Spend your money elsewhere. Do not support racism.

Man that works there with mustache and goatee dark sun glasses I made the mistake of answering my cell while in the store immediately I was attacked and advised I been warned several times not to use my cell phone which was a lie and began to verbally threaten me with assault.

A very unique store. Has all types of gift items from crystals and precious stones to T-shirt, signs, native American gifts, posters, beautiful beaded necklaces and bracelets and so very much more. So very much to see. I'll be going back as I have for many, many years

We went up to Mariposa for our 21st wedding anniversary and we went to Yosemite gifts. Su was absolutely a delight. She was super personable, accommodating to everyone in her store and an AMAZING person. The store is full of so much to see, something for everyone. I will definitely be going back. I highly recommend this business.

We purchased a wedding ring for my husband. After 3 weeks of wear, he went to take it off and severely injured his finger due to cheap stone with cheap glue falling out.. The owner was so heartless she didn't even care about the injury and when I called her out for using cheap glue she hung up on me . HEARTLEASS WOMAN didnt even have compassion for the serious injury and refused to replace or repair the faulty jewelry. Do not purchase any jewelry. You will love this shop.It has such a variety of Yosemite gifts that are alot more reasonable than in the park. Very cool shop there are lots of stones in her shop.She has small meteorites for less than 20$ in a box.Native American cool stuff.Her stones are amazing.Its like a museum. A PLACE THAT YOU CAN'T SEE EVERTHING IN 1 DAY.So much cool and interesting things to see.

If you like going to stores with really high prices for underwhelming products, this is the place for you! This store is also scattered with hostile warning signs and security cameras to make sure you stay in line. Top it all off with a jerk of an owner and you have the perfect recipe for a terrible store and shopping experience. I bought a hat.

I gave the self-proclaimed owner the benefit of the doubt that a mask would be put on once we got up to pay, as we were the only ones there. No mask. As she was ringing us up she suggested the bead store across the street, I asked if they wore masks there? She decided to “inform” me that masks aren’t required in the state of California. They are only suggested. Which, obviously I informed her of the mandates. I was laughed at and told she cannot wear one because she cannot breathe. She sat hand sanitizer on the counter, laughing at us. Go here if you’d like to put yourself at risk. Unprofessional, unwelcome and unfriendly. Definitely not worth all the cheap, marked up junk in that store!For the information of the owner:Yes. The owners of this store (and the candy and bead store across the street) are very hateful and verbally abusive. They are well known in Mariposa as being so. There are many other stores in town worthy of your support.

Yosemite Gift Store is a located in beautiful downtown Mariposa. It has gifts of every kind you could possibly want. They even carry native jewelery. The new items that caught my eye were Day of the Dead merchandise. Give them a look.You're guaranteed to find something you like.
