We have adopted 3 rescue dogs from this SPCA over time! The dogs all were well taken care of and fit into our family perfectly! The ladies there go above and out of their way when the community has been evacuated for fires. They are always there and ready to take as many evacuated pets as they care! We’ve enjoyed their yard sale! We love that the monies go to help take care of the animals!

Fantastic place to visit. I love their thrift store. The lady who runs it is as nice as can be and offers fair to bargain prices. Most definitely a good place to shop. I heard you can volunteer there regularly (not during covid-19) to get prices knocked down to get services for your animals. Last but not least they got a twenty dollar cart day where ya can fill up a cart full of goodies and only pay twenty bucks for it! Too cool!

Awesome place to come and get second hand items. Last time I was there I picked up a blow up mattress with built-in pump a two weed wacker that are almost brand new, one also included a pole saw, as well as nice ratchet set a couple pieces of art and books all for $50. They like to bundle things up and give you a flat price for everything you have which is really convenient.

I have gotten three dogs from here and a cat. I love all of my fur babies! The staff is always wonderful and caring, and they have a yard sale with good deals. Definitely a wonderful place with great people!

Very clean, very organised, very friendly and very professional, caring atmosphere. The animals are all safe and taken care of to the best of the shelters ability. You can also find practically anything you may need around the home in the items donated by local residents. From clothing and books to cooking utensils and computer peripherals and more, those items are sold (at very reasonable prices) to help fund the animal shelter. If you are in search of a new best friend, a hairy addition to your family, an unfortunate pet looking for the right person to give a nice home... Mariposa SPCA is a definate must location to visit. I highly recommend you put it at the top of your search list.

Visited the thrift shop for the first time last weekThey had ok stuff, but a few of the employees were rude.Seriously if they don't like working in a thrift store then why are they there? I'm not coming there to let you polish up on your people skills.It does benefit the animals which is why we purchased the items we had in a pile.I'd rather deal with the dogs than the grouchy life hating man that wanted retail for old donated items.

Adopted 2 kittens they kind of confused me as to which ones I could adopt. Because I couldn't guarantee they would be indoors all the time, I was only allowed to adopt skittish ones. Even indoor cats can get outdoors on occasion.I was being honest. The ones I adopted are indoors and getting used to me.

The staff at this SPCA needs to be replaced with honest friendly people. The current kennel person is just downright nasty. The manager goes through the donated items, keeping the valuable items aside for her friends, the grumpy old man that hangs out there, and herself. Think of all of the money that could be raised if that stuff wasn't 'spirited away', free to those favored few . MANY more dogs could be saved. I am giving two stars only because this SPCA is good to the animals.

Great bargains, wonderful people, gives great deals. Been going here for 15 years. Really caring towards single mothers and senior citizens. Wait long enough and whatever you're looking for will show up.

The SPCA is the best place to shop thrift and all proceeds go to the shelter, and adopt your next family member while your there. Many cats and dogs are in need of a loving home.
