We stopped here for breakfast the morning we checked out of our hotel in Yosemite and would highly recommend others go here too.The lady at the till was really friendly, the prices are so reasonable and the food was very flavoursome. Although it is technically a shop there is a seating area so you can enjoy your food inside and not feel rushed.We both ordered the bagby bagels - delicious!

Great place to grab some sandwiches and juices, I was skeptical initially but had an amazing experience, everyone was so friendly and suggested great options to eat, a must stop if you are around!

This place is delicious. I have a gluten and egg intolerance so breakfast is hard but this place made it easy. My family enjoyed their breakfasts too! There is also a little area to eat by the Cafe. We will be coming back here next time we're in town!

On our way out from Yosemite and stopped by for a quick bite. Had their mono sandwich (sausage & ham) and it was delicious. Freshly cooked with organic items. Worth visiting.

Quite late in writing this review but finally got around to it and had to write this review as food was just fantastic. We visited here in June 2023 when we went to visit Yosemite National ParkWe stayed overnight in Mariposa and since we were going to spend all day at the Yosemite, we figured we would pick up a few sandwiches for a picnic lunch at the park. Since all of us were vegetarians, there wasn't a lot of choice for places to grab from but in my search I did come across High Country Health Foods cafe. As I reviewed the menu online, it certainly had a good choice of vegetarian sandwiches and they also sounded good, Plus it was only 5 minutes from our hotel and on the way to Yosemite so decided to go thereFood - My wife picked up 2 sandwiches (Farmers Market & Lush Meadow) and 1 Green salad . We thoroughly enjoyed the lunch as sandwiches and salad were all very delicious and healthy. Enjoyed the fresh avocados on the sandwiches and they were not miserly in adding the avocados. The portions were just perfect not too small nor too large and all the items were very fresh. Unfortunately we were not heading back to mariposa else I would have picked up sandwiches for the road trip (ha!)Service - very friendly and were willing to adjust some of the fillings (e.g. substitute items and add additional items).I am so glad we discovered this place and its definitely a great place for vegetarians/vegans. Even if you are not a vegetarian, their sandwich is worth trying (PS they do carry a lot of non-veg sandwiches).

Wow - to echo other reviews, this place is an unexpected gem. It's packed full of popular health food brands, attractive produce, and helpful COVID-conscious staff. Everything was clean and well priced. Definitely stop here!

What a pleasant surprise to find en route to Yosemite. Not only was all the produce fresh but they had a such a range of organic and gluten free products I was in heaven. Not to mention the deli which had gluten free sandwiches and quiche!

I leave the valley early so I can stop here while the restaurant part of the store is still open. They have a great selection of food at reasonable prices in the store, and the restaurant is also great. I always get the mariposan veggie burger. Very vegan and vegetarian friendly store and restaurant and the staff are nice. What more could you want.

Looking for a sandwich place to grab some lunch for our hike to Mariposa Grove, my fiance and I found this cute little cafe/grocery store on Yelp and decided to give them a try. I ordered the Lush-er-Meadows and Hornitos sandwiches. We stored them in our backpacks and took them with us on our 2 mile hike to Mariposa Grove.Once we got to the grove, we had a little picnic at one of the benches. The sandwiches held up pretty well considering the sunny spots we went through and the mild warmth of the weather. We dug into our sandwiches immediately since we were so hungry. They tasted really fresh, especially the Lush-er-Meadows! Lots of veggies and tasty bread. The Hornitos was pretty good too - with a tangy BBQ sauce on the chicken it was really juicy. It did leak a little bit during the hike, but still tasted just fine.They didn't have the chips that were supposed to come with the sandwich, so they gave us a bit off our order to make up for it. I wish the sandwiches were a bit bigger for $10 each approximately - we were still a tiny bit hungry after our meal. But overall everything was great!

We had breakfast here when we drove through Mariposa to SF. Good and delicious food with healthy, organic and fresh products!The employees are also very kind over here.I would highly recommend this place when you are in the area!& greetings to Theo from the Netherlands!

I've eaten here when the sandwiches were wonderful. I'm not sure what has happened in the last 6 months, but every time I order a sandwich it's so over sauced etc. that it's literally inedible. Lighten up on the ingredients and sauces and they'd be wonderful.

I LOVE this place! Such a great find on our travels while visiting Yosemite. Sometimes it's difficult to find healthy options and wholesome food while traveling.I had the best burrito of my life in here. The Morning Star Burrito. Lovely spot, great staff, great real food.

Bagby plain bagel with bacon was amazing, best ever! Generous avocado smash with the cheese, onions, tomato and even the egg was delicious. A whole meal by itself.

Well stocked with everything you'd need at competitive prices.Wonderful staff and very clean.Excellent veggie section, all the Bragg's products you'd ever need, just a wonderful experience.Found a new pumpkin protein I'm excited to try, glad I messed up and under packed for my work trip and super thankful I found this place!Kudos, keep up the thoughtful store, product and pricing, sorry we aren't staying longer, but I will return next week!Kimber was amazing to chat with ❤️

1st time there. Came with a few friends for lunch. The food was amazing. I had the Greek quiche. It was very good & a nice sized portion for the $. A friend got the Clam Chowder & it too looked amazing. Almost wished I could have gotten a cup of chowder to go along with the quiche. Everyone was happy with their choices. One friend comes often to eat here.

Great little market to hit on the way into Yosemite with everything you might need- excellent selection of higher end, organic &healthier options that you might not find at a typical grocer. Staff is fantastic- even had a little help from one of the cashiers to pick out fresh flowers for my elopement in the park, went out of her way &was incredibly sweet. Highly recommend this place!

Bro. It’s safe to say, this place is legendary. Go see for yourself. Check out their breakfast sandwiches. They have all kinds of organic stuff too. Definitely recommend the breakfast bagel sandwhich.

I have been shopping & eating at this gem of an establishment on & off for over 30 years and there hasn't been one visit that wasn't stellar in customer service by every member of staff i encountered, especially the proprietors. The food is great, the product is balanced, and the produce is fresh and delicious. If they don't have it they do their best to get it or use their knowledge base to direct you to something comparable.The cafe is clean, spacious, and the food is delivered to the table usually swiftly.

An unexpected bonus. What a treat to happen upon this little gem on the way to Lake Tahoe! We had a wonderful breakfast—everything freshly made, with excellent ingredients, and a friendly staff. A great find.
