There is no room and no safety in the tiny lobby, so a husky dog ( totally unfriendly) was blocking the only door and nobody at all did anything. I had an appointment, and they just don't care if dogs could fight. I was so scared, and stressed - had to knock on the window to get 5 employees to do something,they slowly got another door open..but they should have already seen and put the husky into an exam room.I can't believe how small it is, the odds are there are fights. The lobby is literally the size of a very small bathroom.I'm not going back there.

Brought in our new puppy Cleo for her first vet visit. Dr Riley did a thorough exam and gave her 2nd series of shots. Cleo is the 3rd dog that we have brought here over the past 20 years. Informative and thorough.

Unfortunately the Marina Pet Hospital can no longer be recommended by me. The ladies who work here aren’t very professional and the care and environment is not very welcoming. What is also not very professional is that they tend to schedule many appointments around the same time creating chaos in their parking lot and confusion amongst clients. What is also odd is that they still don’t allow pet owners into the building during examinations. It’s 2023 now and the pandemic is over with. Another issue is obtaining an appointment. The girls always claim to be completely booked and oftentimes there’s no availability for several weeks. I really use to like Dr. Riley as a veterinarian but unfortunately she is seldom available and her office manager and staff just aren’t running this place in a professional manner.

This was our regular clinic for all 3 of our dogs. When he got sick, they offered to put down our elderly dog with cancer. They wouldn't allow me or my family be with in the room with him because I wasn't vaccinated for covid, even with everyone masking. Then they charged me $100 for an appointment just to stand outside & tell me they would euthanize him. I didnt even go inside the clinic. I had tried to ask them over the phone earlier, but they said I needed to come into the office with my dog.My family went with another fantastic vet to euthanize our beloved dog and he got to spend his last moments surrounded by his family. I will never use this clinic again.

Please don't take your animal here. They don't care about being nice to your animals. They will double charge you for numerous things and then argue with you when you question it. Their office staff is totally useless. My cat needed an ultrasound and they told me the vet that did that was only there certain days so id have to make another appointment. So i made another appointment. They called me the day before and said they would have to reschedule it. I asked if the vet that did the ultrasound would be there. They said they would be. I showed up for the rescheduled appointment and guess what the vet that did the ultrasound wasn't there. They expected me to pay for a appointment i didn't even need

I love this veterinarian office. I haven’t been since the early 2000s but I needed services again and remembered having such a good experience here. So glad I went back. I live in Salinas but I’m happy to make the short drive for service I know and trust in him. I am happy to say it’s just as good if not better than it was before. I’ve had some complicated issues to deal with my different dogs over the years and they always figured it out.

Dr. Kiley and staff are awesome. They are so caring and compassionate. We had to have our dog put to sleep recently and Dr. Kiley was very caring and explained every step. Her assistant was so sweet with Bella. They were so very understanding of our grief and need to be with our Bella afterwards. All the staff were very sweet.

We absolutely love this facility. Dr Riley has been a great help and is the first vet to accurately diagnose our lab's skin condition. Because of this diagnosis we have saved a lot of money! Everyone in here is so polite and kind, we absolutely love coming. Highly recommended.

In total compliance with COVID19 guidelines. The experience was rather neat. I drove up, walked up to the window outside, checked in and within minutes the nurse came out and took my cat in for her shots.I was able to walk over to another window that had glass blinds. There I was able to engage with the Vet while she examined my furry little monster.I was so pleased with their professionalism. Rates are rather high for any Vet, that would have been my only issue. I was blown away by their kindness and willingness to help.

We've always had good service by the nurses and the doctors here. We were finally able to figure out that our dog had allergies, which a few other vets we've taken them to we're not able to discern. I've been coming here for 7 years now and will continue as long as we're here. I'd recommend anybody take their pet here.

This place is my new favorite pet hospital in Monterey Bay! It was my first visit with them and I was seen within seconds of arriving, I didn't even wait in the waiting room! The staff was very sweet and patient and answered all my questions compassionately and honestly (which is a major plus for me as other local vets lack this crucial customer service quality). They have affordable prices and allowed me to pick and choose exactly what I wanted before making any moves. I highly recommend them :)

I was not able to get my pet in with Marina Pet Hospital, but they were VERY friendly and willing to provide advice over the phone. They were able to immediately see a picture of my dog's issue via email and provide a description for me to provide to other vets, expediting the process of getting my pet the care he needed.I want to make sure their professionalism doesn't go unnoticed. They could have very easily just said, "no openings, sorry".Thank you, Marina Pet Hospital!

We have a cat who developed a serious skin allergy. We asked a friend to recommend an affordable and respectable veterinarian. She sent us to Marina Pet Hospital and we couldn't be happier. Since his visit last week, Ziggy has been more active than ever. He doesn't spend his life itching and bleeding in discomfort anymore. We are beyond pleased and will continue to come back for routines visits and meds! Thank you all so much. Our cat is living his best life thanks to you! It worked!!!!! And your fees are amazingly affordable for low income pet owners.. Please don't stop doing what you're doing!

We unfortunately didn't get to come here under the best circumstance as our 12 year old Doodle had horrible lymphoma and was ready to rest. Dr Riley waa amazing, compassionate, professional, and truly cares about the animals she dedicated her career to. Staff is also amazing. I hope we can visit the team under better circumstance in the future.

We have been with this Vet for a little over a year and have yet to have a good interaction with them.We finally switched after our dog developed a growth and we needed it checked out. They didn't test the growth or even offer to. They told us it was a hernia and quoted us $800-$2800. They then became angered with us when we did not schedule surgery with them and took our dog elsewhere for a 2nd opinion.Upon second opinion, our dog's growth was tested and he was diagnosed with a lipoma.Marina Pet Hospital is ridiculous in their professionalism, practices and prices. There are much better pet hospitals in this area and I urge you to seek them out!

Been going here since we moved to Marina in 1993. Don't like how it has to be with having look through a window at your pet. I rather be with my pet when getting a check up. But the ladys their are all great. Thank you

If your pet ever needs anything more than just basic shots then you'll quickly realize why this is a 1 star Vet. As someone who has always had livestock and pets I know what a competent staff looks like and this staff is downright elementary in their knowledge of animal care. Go elsewhere folks.

Small efficient staff. Wonderful Dr who explains in detail your "animal child's maladies". Offers straight forward advice. She is NOT dollar oriented she really cares.
