We always love our Marina markets but this time was less than pleasant, we came in at 7:10 (their hours say they close at 8) and greeted the cashier warmly, and he responded rudely, “we’re closing soon” which we thought was strange but hurried nonetheless and found that they had blocked off half the isles putting things away so we would feel pressured to leave and we left after five minutes in the store. They started putting all the fruit stands in so we had no choice but to leave. If the store no longer closes at 8, that should be posted and updated so the customer can see that and a little kindness goes a long way

A wide variety of items, well organized. Lots of stock, make sure you check the expiration date as some items might be sitting for a while. The fresh vegetables and fruits are a must. Frozen items and noodles, ramen and sauces are always on our list. Rare and unusual candies are on the shelves to choose from. We love the different varieties of KitKat. We come here whenever we're in town. Great place when in need.

The owner likes too add 5-10cents per item secretly. Pretty dishonest. Jalepenos here are 1.99 a lb, santa fe market sells them for 1.39 a lb and much fresher.

Excellent selection of fresh produce!!! Many varieties of eggplant. Less common fruits such as durian and Thai bananas!!

I like coming back here for the fresh baked bread, also they have various selections of fish, fruit and vegetables. The back part has a little stinky smell, but i think that is due to the fish area. They have boba tea pack in the freezer area, highly recommend the flavor, easy to make, and are delicious.

Most of the things I love to eat are here, love the fresh seafood catch on certain days but you have to be there as soon as it opens or you'll run out. They also get fresh baked goods and bread delivered on certain days as well. Prices are good not too much.

My go to market for Asian groceries in Marina. A good variety of dry goods, baked goods, frozen items, fresh meats, seafood, and produce. Many hard to find vegetables and fruits come from Hawaii. People come from far and near to shop there. Reasonably priced. Friendly customer service. Highly recommend.

I stopped here on the way back from getting my brows tattooed because of the Sambal Oelek shortage.While this grocery store didn't have it, I found the rare Hawaiian Purple Sweet potato! This variety is so hard to find and in the Santa Clara area I have yet to find a grocery store that carries it.This grocery store is not that big, but overall has all the necessary ingredients for many asian cuisines.I also bought some Thai galangal which I usually have a hard time finding, too.

Just nice place to find, Asian veggies and sauces, I had purchase some fresh fish, was 👍. Just be mindful on dates... Of expiration dates on containers -- some of the products are hard to come by. Other than that friendly nice and friendly cashier, and employees...

They have a little bit of everything and really great prices on fresh produce and rice. I think the place is family owned too, so you're supporting the community. I'm always finding new snacks to try.

All the other 5-star reviews cover everything important you need to know. I'm basically posting to state that without fail, year-in, year-out, they have the least expensive onions that I've been able to find. The yellow onions have been around 39 to 49 cents a pound for a long time. Try finding that kind of price at Safeway, Lucky, etc.I saw a review that complained the prices for produce aren't always marked on the shelves. I've seen that too, but there's a whiteboard inside the door entrance on your right after you go inside that has the prices listed.

I absolutely rely on this market. The only reliable local source of such vegetables as gailan (chinese brocoli), and Taiwanese spinach. Their chickens have head and feet and are very fresh their fish selection, fresh and varied, is a wonder. Jackfruit, mangosteens, mangoes and rambutans, it's all here, with bottles and dry goods from all over Asia. This is a great market, and a great resource to the community. Highly recommended, very grateful for the food I can't find anywhere else.

You can find some good items, Asian and Middle Eastern, here that are not easily found elsewhere in the area. They have some fresh produce variety. I have noticed here that produce items that are expensive are usually not marked with a price tag and the costumer can only find out at checkout if they pay attention. Their receipts also don't show details of the items purchased other than their category along with the price. They definitely need to show more transparency with their pricing instead of tricking customers this way.

Lychee, durian, Chinese sausage. They have a very large selection of Asian food items that are difficult to find otherwise. The staff is friendly and helpful. The aisles are a bit small though.

Nice clean and organized specialty store. Helpful staff and most importantly the cheapest in the area,their prices are always 1 to 2 dollars cheaper than other Asian stores around with a wide selection!! You will say WOW!!
