Impossible to call them because they mute their phone and don’t pick up. When I told the pharmacy tech today, she tried to play it off with “sometimes the phone doesn’t work.” It’s not sometimes, it’s every day all day. And it works, but they don’t pick up. Already sent a complaint to corporate. Hopefully someday they’ll start picking up the phone again.

Pharmacy not open during stated hours. Several customers waited for over an hour for this pharmacy to open but it never did. If short staffed, a sign should be posted.

Lol the worst self checkout machines I’ve ever seen in my life, they’ll double scan the bar code half the time and then you have to wait for an employee to come to remove items, which can be a shockingly long wait when busy. Because someone stealing something is definitely going to key it in first and remove it instead of just never scanning it…But that’s pretty trivial, the actual store is great. Solid ice cream as usual!

Thomas, Sherri, and Gabby in the pharmacy make my dreaded trips into Rite Aid worth it. I joke with them and they are friendly and very helpful to my family and I. Sometimes when I go to Rite Aid pharmacy has a line so very long. It makes you wanna turn around and leave. I have a disability that requires me to get medication weekly. The pharmacist and everyone who works in the pharmacy take special care to make sure none of my medication’s are compromised or mixed in properly. Thomas, Sherri and Gabby make it as quick as possible to get our medications and get out. People constantly treat them terribly, and it is a surprise to me how they keep such a wonderful demeanor. I can’t thank you enough in the pharmacy for everything you do for me on a weekly basis!!!

Probably the worst Rite Aid in the country. The shelves are always half stocked. Employee's are not helpful and they NEVER answer the phone. The pharmacy is a joke.

Thomas is the best thing to happen to rite aid and pharmaceutical offerings in Mammoth overall! I have never had a pharmacist that cared about my health and well being before. The staff know me by name and always treat me great.

Checkout takes too long. Prices could be better for spirits and probably everything.Update 6/29/23:I was told last year by store manager there would be an Amazon hub locker installed outside of this rite aid since they have stopped accepting Amazon pickups. However there is still no locker. This is so disappointing &a huge inconvenience.

The pharmacist (Gabby? Gabriella) was so incredibly helpful in getting my prescription filled. I had l forgotten to bring my necessary medicine from home and it was late in the day on a Friday. She had to really go the extra mile to get a work around from my doctor to accommodate what I needed. She did it all in a timely fashion with a super helpful and positive attitude. THANK YOU!!!

I regularly has my prescriptions filled here and shopping. They dont have the greatest selection but pretty good for a small ski town. They fill refills in a timely manner but only have 1 pharmacist so an emergency fill can take awhile. The pharmacist takes an hour off for lunch, 1-2 pm, so i have to work around that. The pharmacy staff is quite helpful however, given their time limits.

This rite aid closes at 10pm. We went in with my 6 year old daughter at 9:45pm to get her favorite ice cream. Ice cream counter closed with blonde lady behind saying it was too late and no ice cream. We went to the freezer section to try and get some there. As we walked toward the counter, I noticed a guy and a girl standing at the ice cream counter, and the same lady who just told us it was closed was serving ice to them. I went over and asked why she was serving them but told me it was closed. She told me it was because they worked for rite aid. Same lady also locked the front doors at 9:55pm. I'm going to call corporate and find out if that is their policy is to turn away customers and only take care of employees; because this seems aggregious to me. Thiz happened tonight 7/14.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. Living in a resort town I recognize the need for traveling pharmacists. However, my husband and I were told his medication would be ready in one hour. Upon our return, the pharmacist told us he “doesn’t have the keys” for my husbands life altering medication. Upon speaking with the manager “Andre” I was instructed to “call 1-800 rite aid” with my “issue”. We’re now on a two hour drive to receive half of my husbands medication from a different town. Completely unacceptable and frankly dangerous. Do not waste your time here.

Do not order COVID tests from this location from the website. They won’t show up in the system and are unable to bill your insurance if you order them at the pharmacy.No public restroom as well.

Great, friendly cashier. Nice selection. Was able to get their last fan on the shelf. Hope they have more that they can bring out. Crowded — go during unpopular hours if you can. Wear a mask.

2 creepy employees show open hostility to customers.1st, Brown haired woman at the front cash register is NOT a friendly person. Gives out inadequate info, no smile, not accountable for her inadequate directions & prefers to point out how the customer is at fault.2nd. Hispanic girl restocking shelves actually got angry and turned her back to me when I showed her the item I found in her store that she previously insisted the store did not carry!

In winter, you can't find a tube of carmex here to save your life. In the summer, the backpackers clean this place out so don't go there for deodorant or shampoo in July. But they do the best they can for a remote ski town, and the ice cream is REALLY the best. Its even worth standing in the (usually) long line.

The pharmacy is slo and under staffed.I spend over 20 minutes there waiting for the pharmacist to look up if I even had medicine ready. They hadn't checked their messages until 3pm (they open in the morning) and therefore hadn't even processed my medicine. The women working was unbearably slow and took over 20 minutes to help me and give me useless information.

This place wouldnt serve ice cream to us because they said they were too busy😂 I used to work at rite aid.. We served people ice cream even at the busiest time. This is just horrible customer service. On top of that they had nothing on the shelves

Went in to get a prescription and they told me it would be an extra 20 minutes, after already waiting an hour, to apply a discount card to my order since they didn't take my insurance. After working in retail pharmacy, I know how long takes to do that and it's minutes if not seconds. What a joke. Too bad they are one of only two pharmacies in the area. Horrible.

I thought both pharmacists were very friendly and helpful. A pleasant experience in these difficult times. Can’t say much for the cashiers though. Maybe it’s just these difficult times we are in.

Just arrived at Mammouth Lakes...Needed milk....saw ice cream that I thought would be good...When checking out it was explained that I would not receive the listed price without a rite aid card...so I did not keep the icecream and paid 20 cents higher than the listed price for the milk....I was not offered the option of attaining a riteaid card.....In my experience when visiting a retail store of any type I have been offered to join that stores program.....This was my first visit to a rite aid store...IT WAS ALSO MY LAST....You don't have a second chance to make a first impression.

We came here look for a sled, when we found it they don't have prices. When we ask the guy from the counter, he's more than pleased to help us and even joke with us. Staff here are very nice and friendly.
