These folks are always courteous and helpful. In Mammoth, we have (2) "hardware" stores. High Country lends more to building materials. DIY lends itself more to the homeowner.Both are wonderful stores.

This place is the place in Mammoth for your building needs, lumber, plumbing, paint, tools etc...They rent some tools and sell many others...They also cut lumber, I needed 10' 2x8's and they sell 20' they gladly cut them in half for me...They guys that work the yard are great as are the cashiers..

Great place. Good people, very helpful. They have a great paint shop, sometimes you can call ahead with 24 hr notice from needed pick up time and they will have what you need mixed in Bishop and driven up (from Bishop store. Good array of things, seasonal appropriate items, that can basically order you anything you need. Great to have them in Mammoth.

With the absurd amounts of snow in Mammoth there was no where to park. The lumber yard workers let me park by, you guessed it, the lumber. Got keys made & a few other items. Excellent service & free popcorn.

These people steal from you !They will load a pallet into your truck then charge you a pallet deposit of $40 ! When you return the pallet they only refund you $25 then tell you to go complain to the owner. Not only is this straight up THEFT it’s beyond ridiculous to even charge for a pallet . Every business , including mine, begs people to take pallets off our hands.I will now give my money to the big box stores in Carson City plus they have lumber that’s actually straight and not cracked

This is a great store that has a wide selection of goods. In addition to lumber, they have a well stocked Ace hardware store plus a paint store that carries high quality Benjamin Moore. But the best of all is the friendly staff who seem to genuinely care about you and your needs. My expectations were exceeded when a staff person escorted me personally to the paint store(a separate building) to locate much needed FRP panel adhesive! Thanks a bunch!

Some employees are wonderful and other are not. Usually horrible quality lumber at the highest possible price, sometimes 4x what you would pay at a normal shop. I hate going here but its the only option for a lot of material

They got all the lumber and construction supplies you may need in town. Super easy process, they load your truck up for you and give you a ticket to take inside to pay for everything.

These guys are absolutely amazing. Super friendly staff. Had to pick up 400 pounds of cement. They loaded it up and everything.

My house is in Bridgeport my water heater broke. I called mammoth High County Lumber and they had it. Fantastic instead of going to Carson City I went to mammoth very nice lady with blonde hair helped me it was a fantastic price. Wish I could have toured the store but needed to get hot water back on . Ill be back for sure . John P
