$0.33 for a 6 pack of not-cheap tapioca pudding sums this place up. Some incredibly good deals can be found here, it's locally owned, and honestly it is very refreshing to see something "different" when it comes to supermarkets. The owners hunt down deals from suppliers, so the inventory changes, but the selection was excellent, and all staples could easily be found here.

Great selections, fresh veggies, meats and a huge selection of well priced wines. If you're looking for the hard stuff try the Rite Aid across the street. We stopped every day after skiing and had no problems finding good stuff to eat. We were VERY happy with the prices! Bus stop 11 for the red, purple and Town Trolly line. Use Google maps to track the busses.

Limited selection but great prices. It is good to have an alternative at Mammoth. Usually not that busy at the checkout so it is convenient for quick stops.

Great shop, very reasonable prices. If you need to buy food, come here, prices won't make you cry. Mind you, they don't have everything you need, but they got a lot of stuff. No restrooms, plenty of parking, easy to get to. Parking, entrance, dishes and counter are all accessible. Grocery store I am using on all future trips!

This used to be a great store. I’ve gone in a few times since the change in inventory - the items they are stocking are awful. Where is the organic? Where are the healthy foods? All of my usual staples are gone. I can’t shop here anymore. The cereal aisle is exploding in with bright colors and artificial choices. I can’t even get garbanzo beans. If you want sugar and soda, Grocery Outlet in Mammoth is your place to go! We should offer healthier food choices to our residents. Time to transition back to Vons and get the good inventory in Bishop.

I've been a loyal customer of this place as a convenient alternative to Vins for some time now. However, over the past year, my shopping experience here has become increasingly frustrating. It feels like half the time I visit, the store is stripped of basic food items, and it's becoming more and more challenging to locate simple essentials like yogurt and milk. A suggestion box would provide customers with a platform to voice their wants and needs, helping the store better cater to their preferences and ultimately enhance overall satisfaction. Additionally, the once plentiful deals and discounts seem to have become scarce. It's disheartening to see these changes, and I hope the store can address these issues to regain its reputation for convenience and affordability.

Mammoth Grocery Outlet - the best place to buy groceries. Prices are awesome and there are many high quality items & brands. Vegan, gluten free & international products.… went for a second time on 5/12 at 8:40pm and you closed for the night. Your website says closes at 9pm - maybe just a fluke but was a bummer.

Friendly and helpful staff. Good selection of items and unbeatable prices. Inflation in this small town is extreme and many families depend on this store. The only other grocery store in town is quickly becoming too expensive for the average family to survive on. Thankful this store exists, especially here in MammothLakes, CA.

I was having a bad day and was excited to come into this store because I know it would cheer me up. The guy at the register I don’t think was having a good day either and he threw down the divider when I grabbed my drink. The divider flew off the belt almost hitting me. I walked away from a second came back and tried to ask if he was having a bad day and I told him that him throwing the divider like that really hurt my feelings. He then told me that “there’s therapy class for that” I never had been treated so poorly in my life at a grocery store, much less when I was already having a bad day. That was really not fair to me and I won’t be going back.

Good lil market for picking up food for our ski trip. Produce was a bit picked over but overall decent prices. Lots of name brand products didn't appear to be available but like items were. Note this was over a holiday period with large amount of visitors in town.

This store beats our grocery outlet, big time! A great selection of food, wine, pharmacy, and just cool stuff! Cashiers are friendly, very competent. This will be our first food run, when we get into town.

Good prices if you want 5 lb of turmeric powder but everydaye ssentials like eggs, yogurt, and milk are grossly overpriced. Recommend you go to Vons supermarket.

Store does not honor their listed prices. Bad business practices. You find a good deal and the store will not let you purchase the item. They had a variety pack of sparkling water for a very good price. After waiting for ten minutes they would not sell me the item at the advertised price. They also have a terrible ice cream section. You need to go to Bishop Gross me Out to get Ben and Jerry’s. Not really that bad of store as it was much needed in this town but getting one star for treating customers terribly. Take the $5 loss for your mistakes and sell me cheap water!

I enjoyed shopping here in the past. Last visit I had a cart full of groceries. I needed to use the restroom and was denied use as for employees only. I had to leave a full cart to go elsewhere. When I called to find out why employees only I was hung up on right after they said they would get manager.

I love grocery outlet but watch out for this one and their price tags. I’ve purchased things multiple times where the price tag under the stocked items was wrong and they refuse to honor it. Once would be whatever but this has happened on many occasions.

First time visiting. Asked a white guy arranging drinks where the water was. He sighted, took his time to turn around and said in a condescending way "you just passed by them" which I did when I first entered but didn't notice. I never let people disrespect me, so I told him to excuse me as it was my first time there. I walked away and he kept mumbling that he was trying to be nice, etc.. Fortunately, the white cashier was so much nicer.

Really nice grocery store with great prices! Bring your own bags or pay for their sturdy bags. I was very happy to have come across this little store. They had tons of fresh fruits and veggies as well as many varieties of frozen seafood. We got everything we were looking for plus some new things to try!

Awesome prices, bring your own bags, buy up whatever you really like because it might all be gone the next day. Sometimes completely out of milk and eggs. Good, kind, helpful people and well run. We wouldn't survive full time in Mammoth without Groc Out!! Love it

Customer service today was horrible. 4th person in line. Only one checker. Guy in front if me starts to complain about the line. I ask the clerk if there were any other checkers available. He said no. I said ok. He then said you have to be patient and wait. 4 more people got behind me. The man behind me started to complain about the line. It was my time to check out. I placed the red basket on the conveyor belt. The checker told me i had to take everything out of the basket and out pit the conveyor belt. (Never had a checker ask me to take things out of the basket before) tried other small talk with this checker. Obviously he was in a bad mood
