Love this place. Staff is friendly boar's head sandwiches. Best sandwiches. I think and it's a gorgeous drive up there. There's a lot of property for sale up there if you're looking to move out of the city. It's a wonderful place to live or visit

WOWZERS.. I was so sad when I heard Holiday was taking over this location, they have always been a little too pricey for me. But when I went in last Saturday morning I was shocked. Vendors were setting up, prices seemed reasonable and sale prices fit our budget. The best thing was I saw previous employees, that was the most important to me, that previous employees got to stay.

Was a customer of Save -More and their produce was" terrible ( strawberries, halo products) bitter and mold on "Halos.) .Now that Holiday Market is open vendor hasn't changed , would advise as a customer, to change vendors.Will not shop if quality is not a"priority.... ( in all products )Safeway in Chico ( East 1st Ave) prides their selves,on Quality . .

The prices from save more market to holiday market are ridiculous !!Sorry I refuse to pay over $6.00 for a box of cereal that I can get at Safeway for $1.99Holiday took over and the prices have skyrocketed . Really must we drive to Chico to get a decent price on food???? I’d rather have save more back !!!!!!

Always fresh produce and meat. Friendly staff that are willing to help you find what you’re looking for. Bruce the produce manager is extremely helpful and knowledgeable of every item on the shelves. Neither rain nor snow will stop customers from coming here, because they know this grocery store will be open during the normal hours of business.

When it was sav-mor the prices were affordable, Holiday Market is very expensive! The store looks so much better than it did before tho.

I used to get my lunch at the deli back when it was Sav Mor, and it was pretty popular then. I was able to get a sandwich for less than $4 or chicken tenders for about the same. Now that Holiday has come in and taken over, cheap laminate wood flooring and all, nearly everything in the deli is double the price. News flash Holiday, the reason we bought the deli food was because it was CHEAP, not good. Maybe this could help you guys figure out why nobody is buying your hot food anymore. I can't imagine how much chicken gets wasted and thrown out every hour when people actually need the food.

Clean and well stocked. Staff is always friendly and helpful. They actually ask if you need help finding things! Prices are comparable to most other stores. Decent product selection overall.

Prices are amazing, service is great, and they always have everything I need. I was under the impression that they were over priced and that is not the case at all. I love this store and will to continue to support them.

It's a good store but, they cater more towards the hippie/vegan folk. Plus prices are hight, then again everything is these days

Excellent, Friendly, Eager to assist, Clean Environment, Neighborhood Employees all very pleasant..the fresh produce, as a matter of fact throughout the store the shelves are stocked according to their categories. The Manager, Shawn can even be seen polishing floors while assisting others boy❣talk about multi-tasking. Great assortment of meats and good prices. One of the nicest Grocery Stores, Experiences, People and Parking Lot to break-down & run out of gas in. Most of all, the location, PEOPLE and Critters. The view no matter what, are the Sunrises and Mountain Range.

They still feel like family, even after the fire, actually, even more so because now, when you go through those doors there is an unspoken understanding and comraderie that says ," I know you've been through hell, because I went there too, but we made it out!". To me, THESE are my people, and I trust they have my family's best interest in providing the main source of nourishment in our Lil town! There is a gal who works there with her son that has worked there since it used to be Holiday Market, like over 20 years ago. Very sweet..., well, they ALL are! Thank you Sav Mor, I love you! ❤️

I love this store. Good selection of what you need and great prices. Hot chicken strips, corn dogs, and egg rolls for ready to eat convenience. More than just your bare bones beer selection. It's very nice to have this quality and affordable grocery store in the pines.

Sav Mor foods, Wow ! They have the best prices. I've shopped all the grocery stores in Butte County and Sav Mor has quality produce and products. I have to purchase seafood at Save Mart though. Sav Mor does not carry fresh seafood. If you interested in saving money on groceries, consider Sav Mor. Adam DeTro. Well, I'm having to update this review as Holiday Market has infiltrated Sav Mor Foods. Many upgrades , new deli, sushi bar and more selections. The draw back is the higher prices. I will do my shopping elsewhere now.

Sav-Mor Foods has a horrible Rat problem. Turns out they seem to like watermellon😬 After notifying the manager that the watermelon box was full of rat feces and urine, they did promptly remove 1 of the large boxes containing watermelon. I was a little nervous eating my other fruit, so just washed extra well. I know we have a rodent problem in this area, but being a store I feel it is VERY important to get the problem under control for consumers safety. If they are into the watermelons, they are into everything else as well🤢🤮On a POSITIVE note: Friendly staff😉

On 10/5/ my kid Nina was getting a 🎂 cake. She was in-and-out fast. Self check out . On her way out she dropped my wallet. Thankful The wonderful cashier noticed everything. My wallet made it home to me. Everyone always friendly. Thank you. 💜

How can they stay open when the stinch of sewage floats around in the store. What a health hazard this place has become. Shut it down and fix it. Ridiculous. The state needs to get involved and make them fix this mess.

This is a nice grocery store that has pretty much everything you need. The produce is fresh. A good selection of beer and other alcohol. I haven't tried the meat department, it lookedOkay. Checkers are friendly. They also have a self checkout. Very convenient .

I would of given my experience 5 star's but do to weather SAV-MOR Foods had been wipe out of Alot of things you just don't expect a grocery store to run out of, for example Milk! They had only fat free milk left in the store. The thong is They are the only full grocery store in Magalia Ca. They know just as everyone else who lives here, about any up coming storm well in advance. We get many days if not a bit more to prepare. Do to the more the frequent if not constant power outages as well as snow, fallen trees and school closures all of us know when and what we need to prepare. As the community's one and only full grocery store and knowing how quickly the can go from steady busy day's to super busy day's with just power outages much less a back to back severe snow storm and freeze. Save-Mor did not prepare their store by ordering extra merchandise, stocking their shelves and having back up in order to keep there shelves full with the products proven through time's like this, to be a necessity. SAV-MOR had more empty selves, not just bare, but completely empty. So for that reason they lost a ⭐. I plan to continue to buy groceries there. The customer service is very consistent at providing smiles, greetings when you walk in and it's only minutes later another employee will ask if your finding everything ok or if there was anything they could help me locate. Every single employee not just one or two, is happy and not fake happy but genuine happiness. Customer Service skills are the most important, must haves, for any business to secede and grow. SAVE-MOR understands the importance of solid, constant, customer service and keep their employees happy and the work place environment welcoming and friendly.
