Love this store, always have always will, as long as it stays open, I'm about to be 46 now, and I've been going here ever since I was pre-teen visiting my father in the summers in Paradise/Magalia, on the Ridge, then lived here many years, just back visiting, for now, I will move back it's all it's name says, beautiful, good people, everyone waves to each other, great small businesses like HILL'S with the best staff, usually just the owner's, and everyone that lives on the Ridge knows these businesses, though many are lost in the CAMP FIRE, bless these ones that still exist, ty HILL'S COUNTRY STORE, for helping create some of my best memories and more to come, alot more I hope🙏🙌💪🏼😎🦅🇺🇲💯PARADISE STRONG, MAGALIA STRONG, STIRLING CITY STRONG, THE RIDGE 💪🏼 💪🏼 💪🏼 💪🏼

Zack is more like family. He's been there for me and my family rain or shine. His beautiful, lovely, sweet wife, God rest her soul, blessed me SO much with beautiful clothes and a handmade blanket for my daughter when she was born. She didn't even know me that well, but I hope she knew how much that touched my heart. THAT is Zack and his family! Beautiful, thoughtful, kind, friendly, cheerful, and helping out when you need it the most! Zack is one of my favorite people on this ridge. Out of all the gas stations up here, his is the only one that has a country store feel, AND is cheaper than all the ones in Magalia. Now Zack, can we maybe working on the same with the GAS??? PLEASE???😁💚 Much love!

Zack, Neil, and Ausef are always smiling and friendly when I come in.The prices are comparable if not less than the other stores in the area. Since I save the best for last, Hills is where I stop on my way home.

Zack is the man! Friendly and helpful, I always stop here for this and that. Gas, Dog and cat food, cereal, hot chocolate, hemp blunt wraps, Raw papers, beer and wine. Plus all kinds of other useful things you didn't know you might have to have!

I've been coming here to buy sodas and snacks since I was 12 years old and now I fill up my tank there whenever I visit upper Magalia. The handful of people that have worked there have all been kind and hospitable. Fair prices and they also sell bait for fishing.

Hill's Market is one of those stores that I call a "Neighborhood Stores". The kids go for candy, the adults lottery and a six pack. Hills has a variety of wares. Cleaning supplies, sandwich meat, condiments, tampons, donuts and ice cream to name a few. Something for everyone.

Food and service was awesome as of a few days ago. Owner of Cozy Diner in Paradise took over so a few items from that restaurant made it on the menu as well as several staff.
