Tried for two whole days to get through to the pharmacy to get told that my medication isn’t in stock and they had to order it. I am without my insulin and will be without it until they get it in and they didn’t think to notify me. This isn’t the first time either and I know this is a bad habit from them so I make sure to get my refills in well in advance to avoid this type of situation yet it still happened. Why does it take two weeks to order someone’s medication if you’re out of stock? Why not notify the customer? This definitely will encourage me to switch pharmacies.Update: Called to make sure it was ready at the time they gave me a few days ago and they said no until Monday cause they had to order it. I explained that this was the same response I got a few days ago, so I asked if it was not ordered. I get put on hold and they find it. Thankfully. I go pick it up and they ask my birthdate, don’t ask me for my name and the cashier grabs a prescription and just starts scanning it. I look at her and tell her I’m picking up insulin and have no idea what she has in her hand. She asks me for my birthday again. Finally gets my prescription right. Also I had to grab something else so I go to pay at the front where there is no one to be found and the girl at the ice cream bar calls someone and a cashier comes. Cashier comes doesn’t acknowledge and rings me up and is trying to hurry me up when I was going at the speed that the machine was and she was on her phone. All around poor customer service.

I wish I knew how they do it but their ice cream is always so incredibly delicious. It never tastes freezer burned or anything like that. Even the pre-packaged one is delicious and fresh ❤ my fave so far is their cookies n cream. Recommend!

Yall need to put your Pharmacy hours on the website. I live more than 20 miles outside of town. I checked Rite Aids hours online and it said 0800 - 2200hrs. So I drive the 20 or so miles into town and Rite Aid was open. I proceed to the Pharmacy and closed. Please put the hours of the Pharmacy online if they are different operating hours then the store itself...

Im surprised of all the bad reviews. I have been going there for a years to get mine and my family's Medications and the Pharmacy staff is always friendly. And there fast getting it ready for me if I have to wait for it. Maybe the people that leave the bad reviews are trying to pick up there Prescriptions too early. I dont know. But I have never had a problem with it.

Been going here for 17 years because it's close. I know most of the employees and they are nice folks, don't know why people say they are rude. It's expensive though, and the shopping center is pretty run down, though new owners are actually fixing it up. (Finally) We rarely go at night due to seeing some crime, broken into cars and guys running out of the store with cases of booze.

Went in to get ice cream for my daughter and myself was waiting and was told very rudely by the young man at the cash register he would be with me when he could but he wasn’t going to kill himself to do it cause he was by himself and it would be at least thirty minutes, I just walked out and left He could have handled it a lot nicer ,,won’t be going back at all I usually wouldn’t even put a review but just thought it was uncalled for .

I Usally come for the great thrifty ice cream which by itself it's a must in the hot summer days. General selection of rite aid products if your low on somethings. Can't complain too much

This USED to be my "go to" local drugstore for my medications, household and other items to purchase. UNTIL the few different times I was picking up my medications and some young caucasian male, whom I never seen for the past 4 years I was going, embarrassed me in front of some other customers waiting for their medications. He basically implied that I was an addict. He asked me a very odd question because I have picked up pain medication from the pharmacy a few times. There were two Doctor's that prescribed me the pain meds. It was not like I had gone to all these different ones and had more than three or four different pain meds Rx'd. I had been through three different surgeries within the last year or so and he has the balls to ask me such a thing in front of people?! I was LIVID and so disgusted with the tone he had with me. I immediately discontinued getting my medications from there and I am glad because I go to Madera Medical Pharmacy and they are so great at customer service, they are very informational and helpful, PLUS they can deliver to your doorstep.

Horrible service. I had to wait 5 days for my prescription to be filled. I never received a call back for my prescriptions wait. I also called to see if they had it and I they put me on hold for 5 min. I got tired of waiting so I hanged up and they still never called me back. I went to pick up my medication and I received rude service.

Almost every employee I’ve had interactions with are friendly and polite except for one lady who has been rude to customers on more then one occasion to my husband and I’ve seen her say rude remarks to others as well that kind of behavior shouldn’t be tolerated they should make sure every employee is trained for customer service or they shouldn’t be working there.
