I would give them 0 stars if I could! Rude employees, I asked the stock clerk for help and they told me to figure it out myself. The older cashier lady today (3/1/2024) was even worse. She was just plain rude and started to complain about the way I bagged my produce. Unbelievable! Do better, Esperanza Food Center. I will not be returning to this place. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!

On Sunday today my son told me abt the seafood area they have there omg we walked in @ had there shrimp cocktails( FIRE) THE BEST💯 I RECOMMEND GO TRY THE SEAFOOD THERE THE BEST MECHELADAS 💯 cleanness @ good customer service. The store is very clean as well💯

The meat here has so much fat. Do not buy the meat for tacos. It's nothing but leftover fat. My dinner was ruined at one of my meetings with their fatty meat. It was uneatable. I went back a week later and come to find out that the meat was still nothing but fat. Not buying meat here ever again.

Great costumer service specially AlmaTheir food is so delicious I think I over fed myself today with their menudo and hand made tortillas I would definitely go back again they also have this very delicious all natural juices I had try them all and I cant decide which ones is my favorite they have carrot with orange, pure orange, beetroot and a green I think it has celery and orage and maybe something else either way they are all very delicious I definitely recommended

If you haven't tried them, give em a go. Great little grocery store. Butchers are attentive, hot food delicious, and the produce cheap I only gave 4 stars because they made me take off my backpack and leave it on the floor by the door...(I didnt) look, I'm on a bicycle and my backpack... is my purse. Respect due. I don't think I got much from them obviously, thief

I would always purchase my meat here but after seeing the quality of some meats made me second guess my visits here. First off, there was a horrible and I mean horrible smell, then my aunt noticed some meat that had gone bad, I mean black and musty looking. We had to give back the meat we asked for because we did not trust it! We also overheard another customer telling the worker that whenever she leaves home with the meat, it stinks when she's about to cook it. I just feel like the workers should put a little more effort into really cleaning their area. There's always Flys flying around. Please make some changes before the health department gets involved

Good prices on meat but the meat department has a fowl rotten oder. It seems like the meat department is unsanitary. You can smell the oder from outside the store. This has been going on for a few years. Every time I walk in the store same oder.

Nice place. Good prices. But when it comes to the little restaurant area the employees are rude and don't even try to make your food taste good like they used to. When you order something off the menu and you read the ingredients you expect every ingredient on your plate but you don't even get the ingredient that makes the dish come together.

Great little Mexican store that sells groceries and take out food. I really love their tamales there, just wish they added a bit of salt in the masa.

The chicken brest was fresh....good deal, Fresh out the freezer.... The meat section smelles rotton. Their was meat with a green color. I feel bad for the customers who consumed their products. Their is a location in Los Banos that i would recommend same name clean store.

One word expensive!!! And you can smell the meat it's bad. I don't know what happen to the original butcher he had it clean didn't smell. Now it's bad you smell the meat when you walk in it's a shame. I don't shop here anymore. If it smells it's a no go.

This place gots the best prices in town for conchas (Spanish bread) and bread in general but I believe their low prices are due to the fly infestation in their bread. Don’t buy this bread unless you want diarrhea.

Many options to pick from as well as cooked food, service is great and prices lower than most grocery stores. They have a meat market and sell tamales.
