Ugh how can one person ruin it??? The old angry guy with long hair and a frown at the register was absolutely rude and awful with my kids and I!!!!!!! My kids just wanted a couple toys and to each buy them theirselves with their own money and he was beyond rude! All because my daughter changed her mind and set something down rather than handing it to him! He rudely, asked for her to get it and give it to him! I didn’t see her set it down. She did hand it to him. He didn’t even say thank you. Rude rude rude!!!He was in such a hurry and no one was behind us until, right when we were all checked out… a guy walked up he knew… oh was he nice to him!!! So beyond rude!!!!Absolutely disgusting behavior towards a bunch of excited kids that just wanted to buy themselves some treats with the money they’d been saving! We will not be back!!! We will go elsewhere.. where my kids are treated with kindness, respect and wonderful customer service!If you have kids avoid this place!!!!!!! Or if you think any customer at any age deserves good customer service… AVOID THIS PLACE!

Bad customer service the older guy with the long hair has very bad customer service he went around around his his cash register grab the bag of candy that we had left where it didn't belong are you guys going to buy this we said no and he said very rudely next time you guys are not going to buy something just bring it up to the cash register and give it to me don't just leave it laying around he said it very rudely and started being very rude with us me and my husband will never go back to that store again I suggest you guys talk to that employee because we left all our stuff there and left because of him

I definitely feel neutral about coming here as with the 5 or 6 I have beentoo. They are usually congested with carts no matter what time of day or night I have gone. it's like the figured out exactly GJow wide average person was and divided the story into 1000 pieces and then built around the concept of squeezing everTY centimeter out of it. Stay seemed nice They filled my immediate material want disguised as a need and I was able to finish the task I was on thnx

I've been here a few times and it's always the same young girl working, she is very courteous and helpful. My 3 complaints are the parking lot is way too dark, the entrance/exit is steep and lowered vehicles will most certainly bottom out, and last but not least the stocking personnel sucks. Most of the fridge section is pretty bare and there are gaps in the shelves throughout the store.

This dollar general is the closest thing to me and the employees are always friendly. This store is very well stocked except there are days where they are completely out of milk and eggs which is okay because the whole store doesnt get like that. The store is also well maintained. It is definitely on the smaller side but because of that it's a breeze to locate everything you need.

I was not happy with the employees working at the time I was shopping. I felt they were rude and acted like they were put out because I asked the price of a couple things. Some isles were completely blocked by huge carts to where I couldn't even see any items on the shelves.I've never really liked shopping at Dollar General because I think they are way to expensive with low quality products. 👎

I was going to this dollar general as I usually do and I was with my sister going towards the drink area while an employee was in the way. We politely asked to pass and while passing she says something under her breath. I then asked her what she said or if she could say it to my face. She then proceeded to tell me she said nothing and then walks away. I will be reporting her to the manager as this attitude should not be tolerated. It was a simple encounter and she made it seem to be the end of the world for her. Not pleased.

I really like this store very convenient spot for it especially living in this area customer service is great. Great deals on food,drinks ,ice and other miscellaneous things you may need . It's nice and clean organized.

Always come here and it's great, had a problem checking out but they were quick to fix it, also the cashier was soo pretty so I'm definitely coming back there 😳

This is Madera's first Dollar General store. Much needed and appreciated i must say. Dollar General stores are great stores. If you just need a gallon of milk or some makeup and don't want to do the lines and crowds of a bigger chain store this place is perfect. They got everything you need stuffed into there stores and even things you didn't know you needed. Lol.. shop wisely my friends.

Awful almost unGODly. Thursday February 28, 2019I went in and bought some3lb exercise handballs, water bottle. When they start accusing me of shoplifting. I now this person so at first I thought to myself she starting out her conversation; however she takes it to far. I dont know how man employees were telling me nonsense. I was made to beg to make my purchase. In "JESUS" name I said. Then 1 cashier rang me up then I was told to leave. Then I'm walking home an 2 Sherrifs, detain me search my things, ask questions tell me I cant go to that store again. Well ha ha very funny; is this what you wanted. I'm not in jail, or deceased. Let's see who has more favor with the LORD.added 3/6 yes it was exciting ty I'm from the "NO" lol =*

It's a normal dollar general, but lines get busy sometimes and there's only 1 cash register open at a time for the most part. It's a hassle to just get in and out quick.
