I have been coming here for 32 years and my parents probably 40+ years. Just went this week (mid April ‘24) and it looks like it’s been cleaned up a lot. There is a new parking lot. We used the kids pool and it was warm enough just needed 2 min skim. Bring your own towel. No lifeguard. There are bathrooms and showers there. There is a washer and dryer if needed as well. Store closed at 3 pm. They stocked late Wednesday night so we could not fish Thursday, came back Friday and the family caught 6 nice trout. Used the store, bought adult and child fishing license for $20. We used the restaurant via the to go window. The burgers are big and delicious, fries are good too. Chili fries are good but probably will not order those again. VERY stroller friendly.Rooms: #9 Sleeps 4-5. One master (2), 2 bunks (2), one couch. The master is at the back. The bunks are across from the bathroom. Then it opens up to the kitchen, living and dining area.Nearby activities: My husband went shooting for $25, more north, passed mountain lakes resort.Safety: Every visitor needs a wristband and dash pass. I don’t believe you may visit without membership.

This campground cares about its upkeep and shows it. During the summer, I can see how this place is probably packed. A crisp autumn weekend was delightful. Multiple pools, hot tubs, and playgrounds. They understand that not everyone is family friendly so they send adults to the left and families to the right. The adult center is open 24 hours, if you want to warm up, has a full kitchen to cook or do dishes and can play football, pool, ping pong, shuffleboard, or go work, read, and do a puzzle in the library. For free. Unlike the arcade which has air hockey and games but requires coins.Be sure to go across the entrance to the picnic area across the way. Delightful. Peaceful. And get up early enough to go to the far left and snag the one table past the grass area in the creek and shade if you’re there in the summer

The fishing is pretty good. That’s about it.It’s a family friendly campground with more rules than a really bad HOA. The activities and amenities they provide have deteriorated and aren’t the same quality as when I was a kid. You pay all this money for cheap scavenger hunts, broken arcade machines and more. The rule enforcing can be good sometimes don’t get me wrong, you’ll feel safe while you’re there but it goes overboard ALL THE TIME.Employees can push the limits all the time. There is no official accountability or way to report them and there honestly needs to be.Small examples:- I remember being yelled at for riding my bike at night; by myself as a teenager. Mind you I was causing no problems, they just kept harassing me because they felt I looked too young. My parents were pissed.- can’t have a gasoline golf cart- They have harassed my folks before because their tent was a 2 man tent instead of a 4 man. (Seriously?)- can’t drive the golf cart unless you are “approved” (for example, my uncle can’t hop in the golf cart when he visits unless we jump through their hoops to have him on the list)- harassing my 16 year old cousin who was left at camp during the day while his dad was called into work. He drove his bike to the store and back to camp and they almost didn’t let him back into camp because he wasn’t an adult. He was on a BICYCLE.They pay their employees barely anything for them to drive into the mountains and work. They suck every nickel and dime out of you for new fees, dues, fines ALL THE TIME while their CEOS get richer and their actual workers get poorer. It’s ok to visit as a guest but I would never own a membership here. If my family passes it down I’m honestly selling it.Also, don’t do the tour if you plan to buy your timeshare from a third party because they will make you sign a thing that says you can’t buy from anyone but mountain lakes for a certain amount of time.(Third party memberships are cheaper! Because it’s people tired of their games selling it to someone who actually wants to deal with it)The fishing is good but not for how much they charge. I’m sure they’ll continue to increase that price as well.At least they keep the lake stocked - it’s the least they can do for how they price gouge their members and honestly their employees too.

Member only campground for RV or tent. Over crowded in summer, but cold in winter. Lots of activities and staff is great 👍

DO NOT BUY into this. No there is not working wifi in fact most carriers have no service up there. They keep changing the prices on guest spots along with changing whatever rules they want. It is NOT WORTH IT. I wish I had never signed up, their sales guys are ful of shot and will tell you they are doing all kinds of wifi upgrades, park upgrades. And let’s talk about the remodeled cabins that actually are dirty and the flooring has gaps so each your toes cause it really hurts when you get pinched between the fake wood planks

This campground is really nice and clean. We feel safe, it's not a huge campground, but it fits our needs. We like the halloween weekends in October, this is another place for kids to enjoy. All year fun near Lytle Creek. There is fishing, ample area to ride bikes, a family arcade, miniature golfing, a park by the river, a semi new splash pad. This is an awesome place to be at.

Very disappointed in Mt. Lakes Resort. For the amount for the membership and now the Quarterly dues are $550.00.They need to remodel the whole place.Cabins are straight out of the 90's and nothing has been change.Yet they keep raising the price on everything. This place is a joke!Who in there right mind would pay $2200.00 a year for Quarterly dues and 10,0000 for membership, and if you want to move up the hill to the legacy it is an extra $8,500.Way to much money for camping in a run down place. The family center has to be the worst!

This is a member's only resort. They had cabins for rent and areas for RVs. The facilities were clean. There were ample restrooms with showers. There was a pool, Jacuzzi. There was 2 fishing lakes, a few bridges...well kept camp sites. I would easily buy a membership here. The only negative thing I would say is that it's very hard to park in the same camp site. Especially if you have 2 cars, however, they do have an overflow area, but that makes it a little difficult...

Loved it. Family fun with the kids and fun small night life fun for the adults! Daytime mini ⛳ and swimming, night time Karaoke and dancing with drinks! Sunday worship. All in a weekend, gotta love it. Just to let you know they are pet friendly. Don't let the crabby old people try to tell you otherwise. Also, the ONLY way you will lose your membership is if you are a loud 📢🤯 obnoxious drunk who drinks and drives which is common knowledge.

It was a great place years ago, but just like everything else, they have sold too many memberships. They also seem to have lost the camping sprit the staf act like they are over worked and hate their jobs they are very dry and not at all what you hope to encounter while on vacation their "security team is very rude and dismissive. My husband had a broken wrist and I had seriously injured my neck their security guy "Tom" ( doubt that was his real name) was very rude and more concerned about us "exiting the park" than the fact that we were dealing with a medical issue. Let me note: we were waiting in an empty part of their guest parking for my mother (the member) to get there she was about 10 min behind us we were in the spot for less than the time to dial my mothers phone number. He had a bad attitude and was very rude. We were going to pull out of the lot but were trying to call my mother so she wouldn't get concerned. My father just died last week, and she has Parkinson so she is very distraught and emotional. Let me add that today is my father's and my sons birthday. Walking around the campsite today is a tradition. I am now in a car waiting for my mother with kids crying both about the guy (tom) being mean and remembering Grandpa would be sad if we didn't go today. Very dry and unprofessional. I inherited my dads membership, and if it were not for the memories of my father here, I would sell the membership and never return. I've been coming up here for over 30 years. This is very disappointing and heartbreaking. I've been wanting to do a review for a few years, but today was the final straw

This is a beautiful, well-maintained, entertaining park. Member only. Amenities are good, but driving around the campground with a 42ft 5th wheel was a challenge. There are many tight turns. Their placement of poles, rocks, and trees is not the best. We enjoyed cool weather while the next cities are suffering with 90+ degree heat.Safety: Security is tight. Many security cameras throughout the campground. Member only. Guests must be registered to enter the park.

Had a great time with the family when we had to cancel our trip up north due to a baseball tournament. I never knew this was in my own backyard and was soo close to home with still getting that feeling of escaping on vacation. We stayed in one of the cabins and it was so perfect with tons to do and explore. Not to mention Lytle creek right across the street

The pool was dirty and no lifeguard on duty. The creek across the street was heavenly. Also, maintenance staff was rude and didn't know how to handle situation when problem arose with the laundromat. One man on security staff was super helpful and went above and beyond. Thankful for his consideration. For the amount of money members pay to come here and make memories with their children and families, the staff has got to do better.Race or color of skin should never factor in to the level of service given.

My husband and I became members at this resort in September 2022...we love this place!! The staff are always so friendly and welcoming. We haven't had any issues with any of the other members here. In fact, we became friends with a few other members our first night here. They do have a bit of an issue with too many squirrels on the grounds, but they're doing their best to control the situation. The cabins are comfy. The only issue we've had is the reception on our phones, but they have hotspots all over the resort that you should be able to connect to. Kat in the sales office has been my "go to" person from the very beginning...she's super friendly and helps me with any issues or questions I've had. We took our tour around the grounds with Keith, he was really funny and had a lot of patience in answering all our questions. This place is great for those with children, they have so many activities around the grounds to keep them entertained. And they have all types of activites every month for all the members. We definitely recommend this resort to anyone and everyone.Safety: They do background checks on everyone signing up to become membersWalkability: They have a nature walk trail and everything around the grounds is walking distance

This place has a whole facist vibe! More about their authority than being warm. I was treated poorly a couple times. For one your in Lytle Creek guys not the South of France! Still nature is beautiful up here and their arcade has an amazing Pinball table.
